I enjoyed this episode. Mute the noise, mind your own business. Sound wisdom. No two homes are built identical. One reason your wife will never be intimated by another woman is because she will know how unique she is and if you want her, you will never find another like her. She will have confidence in who God created her to be uniquely and that is a work of the spirit. She will also know the same for you. That value inwardly will be the difference and what sets you both apart. Irreplaceable.
You spoke to my soul with this! Thank you.
😂😂😂😂never seen him, heard him, but I love this dude. He’s fun-ny. He is a thinker, he’s been there, done that, now ready for the real. I pray and hope he gets his hearts desire in a helpmate.
@@lorebay2593 he was more than funny. He was speaking prophetically. God sent.
All I can say is Ditto and Amen
I am a Affion Crockett fan, but I absolutely “Love him” after this in-depth interview! He was so incredibly humble with a good spirit. Thank you both for “Loving us Sistahs”!
Yes!!!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤
Listening to these black men say how much they love black women and how they only want black women validated something in me...I have always said and will always say my heart is the place for a black man to call home! My son will be a black man, my daddy was a black man and the man I am preparing for will also be a black man. Period.
PERIOD!!! 🎬❤️🖤💚
@Joan Arc You didn't have to tell me you were a white woman. The fact that you saw my comment and only thought of color screamed white oblivion on your behalf. Being black is a full experience, which goes far deeper than just color, however, I will not define that for you. Let me also add I will never be selling myself short by choosing who I am, what I am born from and where my legacy lies. Your ignorance is showing. Do better.
Most of these bm are colorists, they may profess to love bw, but most likely will choose light skin black women or mixed women.
Knowing how dark skin bw are desperate for them, they will always known you are available for them . Most don't value you , desire you or see you.
And those two bm are Single, why? If they love bw so much why are they still single? They are not interested in relationship, but they known you are and they are making money out of your desires to be in a relationship.
@@pamsunshine9233 awww Pam...I am so sorry you felt the need to jump on this comment, that shows mutual love to black men and project your ignorance and experience or lack there of onto those beautiful black men and my beautiful black self. Y'all are so triggered...get well soon.
This is fantastic.
When Affon said "mind your business!". Everyone is trying to put their thoughts, expectations etc on others yet it's the two concerned people that are actually living their life and it's working!

Thank you black men for loving the black women. We love you guys too.this was a beautiful podcast.
Definitely & I agree
Indeed🙏🙏
Yes! ❤
I don't believe he's introverted.
Self-awareness is a beautiful thing.❤ Our childhood stuff comes out in our intimate relationships. If we’re not aware of what that stuff is, we normalize and defend it. The best gift we can give to a significant other is the raw truth of who we are. Great episode!!
I can relate. I never wanted my parents toxic relationship. And my first serious relationship was toxic. Definitely not going through that type of experience again!
Energy is truly everything...but can be negative and deceptive unconsciously...good to be awakened 😊
That part..
Affion to me as a man is very insightful, intelligent, and aware. He also seems like he's a warm person. I realized something about myself that I never knew in regards to him talking about acceptance on your podcast. What he said helped me tremendously. I hope and pray that he finds exactly the right type of woman for him. "All good things come to those who wait." This was truly a wonderful episode. Thank you for having him on your show. Keep up the good work.
Affion is a true gem. I love his no nonsense attitude and knowledge of what he needs and wants in a purpose partner. Beautiful brotherly interview. Nothing like BM pouring into each other. ❤❤❤
Im holding tears 😢back when he said black women are walking around thinking black men don’t love them. So many of us do think that. ❤❤❤ I’d like to see that video!
I’m so appreciative of this interview with Affion. He hit the nail on the head for me. Marriage is great… but the biggest point of the relationship is for us to actually do life together… not you go over there and I go over here and then we meet up and then separate again.
Doing life truly together and to desire that equally. Perfectly stated.
Thank you. This was really inspiring and gave me hope.
Affion gets it.
He is one of the most emotionally intelligent men I have heard in a while. He knows himself and he’s secure in himself.
A gem.
When we are taught to stay in dishonoring relationships….THIS episode was for me! ❤ Thanks for sharing your story!
I really enjoyed Affion's interview. I love how introspective he is about his relationships and how he is desiring to be with a mate that 'sees' him. Even in all of his great comedy, acting, and entertaining I could tell he is seeking more from life.
I see that too. An that is an exceptional way to love and want love
It is so refreshing to hear a man who’s not seeking a female who’s hung up on getting her bag. Social media is really in the heads of some of these females and males that believe that money is the most important thing when looking for that person. This greed for money is really disturbing.
“Spend your time on those that love you unconditionally. Don't waste it on those that only love you when the conditions are right for them. “
This was a wonderful interview.
I really enjoyed watching this.
You are really doing a great job here on CZcams.🙏🏽✌🏽
what is unconditionally? you don't have to put people through the wringer before giving them love. many men feel like they have "fuck-up trial period" to put women through
I would actually love it if I saw a celebrity/influencer dating a "regular" person. A lot of celebrities say they want that, but then turn around & say how they need to date someone who understands their buisness, line of work, or whatever. It would probably be a balance for each person.
When they do. That woman turns into a celebrity during and after it. Amber rose, karruche and rhoa ain't none them wives
@@PoorMan84 yeah, you're right!
I honestly hate/like these relationship talks with 80/20 respectively. The ladies all repeat the same nonsense with no real insight and the fellas do the same and still hold back from actually expressing themselves. All data that are used as talking point is misconstrued to meet everyone's talking points with no real intent to understand just reply. Majority of ppl to include these damn celebs we use as examples for the topic have less than 10 relationships in life. I'm talking about where we both acknowledge that you my BF/GF. The numbers is less than 10 and somehow those little ass numbers acct for the other gender when ppl have some redundant argument. Abusive relationships are less than 3 and somehow that's all men. Everyone finds out that the guy is x,y&z after giving him a kid or two. Colorism is used in dating when it have nothing to do with dating. Colorism is being denied opportunities based on skin color, which is regard to employment. Dating ain't no damn opportunity. DSBW are jealous/envious of LSBW for what?! They are the ones that's ran thru. Do DSBW want to be ran thru as well is why its brought up in dating and its a jealousy/envy attitude towards them? If you listen to those convo its shame the man nobody says why don't that woman date a man her complexion . Its always directed towards the men which makes the argument disingenuous. The dating on my level will always make women one because all guys here is I'm nothing more than a paycheck. The argument of 50/50 is so selfish that the ones who argue against it don't even realize it.
They do, but as the person above said the media or that persons fan base turns them into celebrities. Look at how offended people were when Savannah James said she doesn't want the spotlight
@The G.I.R.L.S. Club Inc. she was the first person who popped into my head. She doesn't seem to crave the spotlight or anything like that. She's a perfect example of what I meant.
This episode was RICHHHHH 💎💎💎 So many things Affion was speaking on resonated with me.
My goodness the Spirit of the Lord just keeps moving and pouring in this Season 6 --- and I'm here with ALL my containers 🌬️📖⛲🏺🏺🏺
I had to learn this! When you accept people for who they are you learn how to deal with them in a healthy way. And true most people don’t know the expectations that we place on them and when/ if they don’t meet those expectations we say this person is not for us or we are disappointed because we feel they had key us down.
I believe that is the hardest lesson, as we grow up with sooo many expectations from parents, relatives, about school, about friendships, how we act at work -- it's endless. Discernment and boundaries are key. Keeping the "*connecting the dots" analysis at bay is tricky.
Thank you for loving us Black Women and supporting us!! This was amazing ❤
This is about to be one of my favorite interviews. Affion is one of my fav comedians ❤.
I really enjoyed this podcast. Affion is hilarious, and as a black man, he honestly talks about what he wants in a relationship. It's a pure connection where they both can work together to create the life they want. ❤
Feminine women don't work together with masculine men. They rest in their feminity...are you looking for Benneta the Builder?
It’s about time, Laterras! You know I’ve been waiting. 😂😂
Yea he had me checking all day for the episode..❤
We all have!
Me three. I have been refreshing this page, wondering if we would get a new episode today.
@yvonne martin
I love how Affion is so honest and upfront with what he wants! This is a wonderful Podcast and I share it every week.
I love PEACE.....when you know, you really know. Thank Mr. Crockett.
I loved this episode so much. I’ve never seen this side of Affion and it made me even more of a supporter seeing the vulnerable side of him💚Love this! God will send you both your wives soon! Keep praying and believing! God is faithful!
This was so insightful! And I learned to never ASSUME who a certain type of man wants in his life, and definitely keep folks outcho business! Wow! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🥰🥰🥰
I appreciate the love for everyday nonfamous Black women ❤❤❤
Self awareness is the best accountability of finding your truth! He is safe in speaking so that his words are not destructive or pointing the blame. Thank you Affion for taking responsibility for your actions and allowing empathy to commune in your spirit about the decisions others have made. You both rock Kings 💯
AFFION!!!!! 😳 HUSH YO' MOUTH!!! 🤯

I thoroughly enjoyed this episode. Affion’s transparency and simplicity was refreshing! Let me not forget, I always enjoy Latteras’s infectious laugh. It makes me laugh right along with him! 😂👏🏾
I was in a relationship where I told that person everything about me as I believed they told me everything about them. When we’d argue, he threw it all in my face and I was so hurt. Knowing that can happen, I definitely won’t be telling all of my past to anyone I’m with again
I enjoyed Affion’s interview. Thank you Black Kings👑👑for coming together to discuss how we as a people 🤎can be aware and bridge the gap in our healing.🤎💯🤎💯
I really love this for him. Ive never heard of this brother before today. Im a private person and ive never wanted to be in relationship with someone public bc i like my privacy. Most celebrities like the spotlight. Thats whats up💜
I love how this platform allows us to see people in their authentic self. It was very nice seeing a piece of Affion's personality. I like him as an actor but really enjoyed learning this deeper level of his thought process, heart, desires, and healing.
I like to see single people enjoying being single, not allowing society to say single is bad. It's not an prerequisite to marry to be possibly happy whole.
Mr. Whitfield, I enjoy when you have brothers as guests because I am witnessing how men relate and interact to/with each other. This episode didn’t disappoint.
❤❤❤Affion is a wonderful entertainer but a smart great business man. Thanks for sharing your words of wisdom.
Thank you AFFION CROCKETT for bringing a refreshing mature right on time energy to the current state of relationships and our culture today!!! 🤗🤗🥳🥳🤗🤗
I appreciate Affion for having the desire to make black women feel appreciated. It truly has become rare to see black men appreciate black women. This is why I loved the Black Love series. It showed that black love still exists and is very much alive! This was a great conversation. I pray Affion finds his true love and settles down when the time is right. Loved your letter, Laterras. ❤❤
Omg Affion Crockett in the building! I have been following him since the beginning.
I really appreciate the depth of this conversation. It’s so BEAUTIFUL to see men sit down and have real conversations about real stuff! I feel him wholeheartedly when it comes to having a Creative Brain! I can RELATE!!! There are levels to walking with someone who loves to BUILD AND CREATE! It’s in our DNA. This episode just really gave me hope for real because it’s a direct reflection of the things I speak to my friends about! Affion said, “We should look at each other and MARVEL at each others GIFT AND PURPOSE!” I respect that and I desire that for sure! This was such a great episode!
He is very creative with how he thinks and portrays his messages across. I love it!
Thank you for debunking what society defines as a "power couple." R.C. Blakes has a teaching entitled "Kings and Queens - The Dynamics of a True Power Couple" that I appreciate. He describes Adam and Eve as a true power couple. They were two complete individuals (who knew their identity and purpose) on their own (not a whole person and a half person or two halves thinking they can become a whole). It's looking beyond the external. czcams.com/video/H-BID8-h0Dk/video.html
No Adam and Eve were not power couples, Adam couldn't protect her from the serpent and when been confronted, Adam put all the blame on her....
@Pam Sunshine I don't think a power couple means a perfect one ...
Great discussion! I appreciate seeing a more vulnerable side of the guests on this show.
This was so refreshing to watch. 💕
YAY!!!! Thank you for the new episode!!! I was starting to think that we would not be getting one today, especially with you traveling this week (I think, or this weekend!).
On to listening now...
Loved this episode. I have always thought of Affion as a comedian but loved seeing him in a different light. I pray he finds the wife he can marvel at ❤
Affion! He's one of my favorite comedians! Tuned in, for the convo.
Thank you so much Affion for this interview. Love hearing that Black men are speaking out loud that they Love Black Women.
I loved to see this side of him. Great episode as always. Thank you for being a blessing to us.
I don’t know this brother, but I like his honesty and integrity.
Loved it!!! Such a great dimensional interview 👏🏽. Mute the noise. Love you brothers for protecting the vision of Black love.
I always learn something new from every episode. Laterras you never disappoint. This episode has so many gems in it.
This was such a great interview. So many gems. Thanks for your transparency. Especially the part when you were talking about what you saw with your parents relationship. Like, Pastor Keion says, "If you can't say Amen, say ouch." And that statement made me say "ouch". Gave me a wake up call as to what my husband and I have been showing our children. Thanks again!
This was a great interview. I love Affions honest retrospective and introspective thoughts on dating and relationships. It’s very refreshing to hear his desire to “just be with” his partner and all that encompasses. He stated he is multifaceted/layered and it’s obvious throughout the entire interview. I wish more men were this candid.
I enjoyed this interview. It’s a blessing to hear the heart of a man walking in his truth.
This was an awesome episode. Keep up the good work.
Ok, so I just finished watching everything, and this has blessed me. Once again, thanks for doing what you do!!
I absolutely loved this segment. I loved seeing Affion in a different role so to speak. The nuggets that he dropped were priceless. This was one of my favorites, and that is saying a lot as I have truly loved many, many episodes of the podcast.
Thanks for sharing this conversation with Affion Crockett, kudos.
I knew he was going to be more solid than anticipated! Very refreshing brother!
Great interview. I like seeing Affion serious as well. Real good energy… When is the hip hop movie coming out? I’m geeked about that…thank you for the interview.
This is MAJOR, having self awareness!! When we find that we are attracting the same energy just a different name...then we have to look at what is the energy we are giving out. Learning that it was me (and not them) transformational. I'm in a completely different mindset now!!!
Good feedback and the way he kept bringing up faith. Last part about caring about what or who says what was my favorite no one should have to shrink their authentic self for anyone the right one will admire all of it.
Absolutely, amazing interview❤. Laterras you always ask the perfect questions.
This speaks to me directly. Parental trauma has kept me in a tight corner.
Take it to the Lord sis, May he heal you.
God bless
This one is hitting home because I’m a fixer. I just had this experience with a guy I like trying to show him that he would never experience what he has experienced before. He told me I was everything he wanted but he didn’t want to get married again. He also said he will probably hate his decision later and would be upset if he sees me with someone else. So I said I’m going to fall back and make room for the man that wants what I want. It was so hurtful but necessary. I can’t I believe I just shared this 🤦🏽♀️🤣😩
I hope that one day you will have the ladies from TO MY SISTERS on your show. They will be at the Essance Festival this year and it would be a great chance to link up with them while they are in the country
I just love hus honesty and transparency. Another 🔥 podcast!! Nothing but fire 🔥 🔥 🔥🔥! I love it!!!
This was real good. I’ve said I want to be in awe of my husband. Marvel is another good word. I want to look at him and be inspired to be the best purpose partner, wife, companion, etc. When I’m in awe of him as a man there’s no stopping what I’m willing to do.
This was so good. So much wisdom and insight. Much appreciated.❤
Absolutely loved this podcast with Mr. Affton. The part of the interview when he said "practice acceptance with no expectations resonated with wholeheartedly💯 Let's talk about tapping in the simplicity of your pirpose partner! My God! That is definitely TOP TIER!!! Thank you for loving black women because we love our black men🙌🏽🙌🏽

It was nice hearing this side of him and his perspective on love and relationships
This was awesome. A beautiful new view of Affion to have after this interview
Awesome episode! Thank for sharing! I am a grateful recipient. ❤
Omg!!!!! I just saw him in Chicago!!!! He’s hilarious and I’m glad I got to see this side of him as well
This show was soooo very good!! I really enjoyed both of you guys and the conversation ❤🎉
Finally a story I can related to so much. Very similar things I experienced. I blamed myself for everything because empathy said feel sorry for my family. Thank you for sharing your story!
Depends on how you're dancing or what you're dancing to 💯when u give your life to God, u can't help but change
Acceptance and no expectations stood out for me. I took a lot away from this one as well. Thanks again!
Fantastic interview. Humorous and transparent. Informative
Preach Rev. Elder Bishop Affion!!!! Lol. Sir Affion I salute your healing journey and depth revealed in this interview. I love the wealth of wisdom that is always displayed on Dear Future Wifey.
Thank for your honesty, it’s very refreshing ❤
Felt like a fly on the wall while two men had a conversation. Great points were made and insight was gained😊
I love what he said about chasing the bag I absolutely am not on that wavelength in this season of my life..I also aspire to have peace and harmony in this world. I'm not even halfway through the interview but this is so enjoyable! Affion is a gem❤
Affion's conscientious approach regarding relationships is refreshing. I appreciate his sincerity, realness, and truth regarding relationship traumas. When he used the term "marvel" and being each others biggest fan, the imagery spoke to all my 5 senses! Keep dropping those 💎💎💎💎
Affion is the best & this podcast is the best!!!! Bless you all
I appreciate Affion’s vulnerability/strength!
He's such a thoughtful communicator and great conversationalist. This was good👏
New subscriber. Absolutely love this episode and love what you're doing. Keep thriving for greatness ❤
This episode is informative and gives you truth, reality, laughter, and most of all, honesty from real men of good character and integrity. I agree with him 100% about taking away comments ! I truly agree with him with minding your own business, especially with relationships and marriages. That is not anyone's concern, how they live, love, and care for each other is their own space.
Great conversation !!!
And Affion, THANK YOU for the challenge to mute the noise, Laterras and all of us need that advice.
This was a great interview and I really appreciate being able to see this side of Affion as well as hear how black women are still valued by black men. Perfect timing ! Thank you to both you gentlemen
I really enjoyed this! This made me see him in a different light. He’s more than a comedian. I pray he find that right woman that will see him for him so he can add to her life and the other way around❤😊 . We need to know more about him 👀
This was a great interview. I appreciate learning about Affion as a man. One thing I take away from this interview is, "acceptance". I will work on accepting things and ppl for what/who they are.
Laterras, we hold u accountable to Affion's challenge to u. Much love ❤
