Now they have been full timing in their Airstream Interstate Van for a year. This video is a must see for anyone considering downsizing to a small RV like a Class B Van. Could we do it, too? It is good to hear from you again. Although it is nice to meet new people like these two, I keep wondering what is happening with you. I keep wondering where are you headed? What is your next destination? What are you experiencing? How is the remodeled motorhome suiting your needs? It is always good to see Julie's effervescence and Marc's thoughtfulness as you approach each destination and deal with its quirks! Enjoy your time on the road!! Share it with us as you are able!! I certainly appreciate you guys!!!

      Thank you for your kind words Carl. Glad you enjoyed meeting this new couple. Consider subscribing to them as well as they post very regularly (twice per week). We are currently in Florida in a rented RV for the Tampa show and some other travels. Headed to Texas soon in another rented RV. We plan to put out a bunch of content related to this trip.Thanks again. -M

      Thank you. Glad to hear that you loved the story and video. Yes, having a full size dog would definitely add to the complexity of vanlife. We are enjoying trying out some travel in a smaller rented RV right now getting a taste for that style travel. We will be sharing more about our experiences in the coming weeks and months. -M

    Great tour and interview! I enjoyed the discussion, as we got to know them and their motivations for vanlife. The tours where where we get to see every underwear and socks drawer are getting a bit boring and monotonous. Great job! I follow their channel as well -- love their urban adventures.

    I just had the opportunity to meet these guys at the Xscapers Bash. It was a typical bash where you get a few minutes each to meet a ton of new people and for Aaron and I half of that time was spent under the rear of the van looking at a generator that wasn’t starting correctly. Looking forward to see your dabbles in the (much) smaller living movement.

    It was fun watching this video, especially knowing you have recently rented a class B. It did look a little crowded in there when all 4 of you were on the couch.

    • @Rvlove
      @Rvlove  Před 4 lety +2

      Yep, that back seat was a little tight for 4, but it is really only designed for 3. Very impressed with Christine and Aaron and their ability to make it work so long. We have had fun in our rental B+, and also borrowing a friends Airstream similar to the one shown. Looking forward to sharing our experiences traveling in these smaller RVs with you soon. -M

      Too funny. We loved that conversation with Christine and Aaron around that topic (some additional commentary off camera later that night). It sounds like a good reason to us. Truthfully, we could probably say the same in that Julie is a better passenger than Marc. -M

    Your in a MERCEDES RV, TOP of the LINE at that! Your in a RV in your mind, thats a MANSION on WHEELS! haha, your NOT ruffin it all...........at $200,000 for a 2020, EVERYONE understands what class your in...and its not POOR! With that said i think yo made a great choice that happens to have great amenities.............. all electric Coachman Galleria has a 26 gallon BLACK tank my most important, short of having a cassette dump. Take care enjoying LA:)

    • @Rvlove
      @Rvlove  Před 4 lety +2

      Yes, it is a very nice quality van. Though buying a 6 year old unit, they of course spent substantially less (much less than half) than new. Nobody ever implied that anybody was roughing it or low income, but also would not consider it a mansion on wheels. I suppose that is just perspective. High quality van RV, for sure. but not a 45' four slide half-million dollar coach either. Take care. -M

      They are extremely nimble, and allow for unique travel experiences that are difficult to achieve with other set ups. You almost always have everything with you. There are a lot of benefits, but admittedly, it is a pretty small space to live in full time, especially when working full time. We really admire Aaron and Christine for finding a way to make it work. -M
