Exploring RIGA, Latvia! It's SO quiet? Snowboots, Walking Old Town & views from the TOP of a Church!

We're back with our first trip of 2024! This time we spent a weekend in Riga, the capital of Latvia.
Flights: £46pp return from Stansted (Sat - Sun).
Hotel: £27.50pp and included breakfast, courtesy of genius level 2 discounts via booking . com. We stayed at the very lovely Avalon Hotel & Conferences hotelavalon.eu and really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend here for its location, price and comfort.
Day 1 saw us explore Old Town via foot. We came across some fab buildings and the indoor market. Finished our evening with a sit-down meal at Rock Cafe and a walk up to the top of St Peter's Church.
