- In todays installment we review how to safely conduct cargo runs for huge profits in Star Citizen! This is probably the most relaxing way to make money (other than occasional pirates) but has high risk reward.

My rule is about 35-40% maximum of my total credit balance can go into a single run. Good video
That's a good policy! And thank you!
If your just refueling, I actually recommend that you land at a pad instead of the hangar (you can land on the pads without requesting landing). If you do get the bug, just move to another pad if none of the pads allows you, try the hangar. If nothing works, then server hop.
(For hangar and pads, land more towards the middle, you are sometimes not registered to be on the pad if your too far to 1 side).
Interesting! I honestly had no idea you can land anywhere without requesting from ATC lol. I'll try that out!
Doesn't that impound your vehicle if you land on pad not assigned ?
Great video, easy to follow and understand!
Thank you! I'm glad you liked it
A lot of times it's not actually the landing services bug, but rather bad landing placement. The C8 is so small, that you didn't actually have it on the landing zone in the hangar. This is the reason I use the auto-land feature even on small and easy-to-park ships, to make sure I always land exactly where the hangar will register me. THEN if I can't refuel, I know for sure it's the server/bug. For anyone that doesn't know about the auto-land feature, hover a bit above the landing space with your landing gear extended, then press and hold "N" (check your advanced keybindings to be sure, but this is the default I believe) and it should auto-adjust your ship and land you smoothly.
Incidentally, this is also a good way to land the new Syulen... the auto-landing feature will right you and set you down as needed. Sadly, this only works for hangars and pads as far as I can tell, so it's not a fix-all for that ship lol.
Good to know! I'll try that out. I actually like landing manually, so I'll definitely take better care of where I'm landing on the pad. Thank you for the info!
@@Joes_Apartment no worries. I understand liking to land manually. It can be fun and I like doing that when I go to outposts for my loot-goblin runs lol. I just do the auto-land for services/storing to make sure I'm where the system will register my ship lol.
Thanks! Great guide :)
Thank you I appreciate it! Glad to spread what I'm learning :)
Thanks guy, had no idea this was a part of the game. Will try this out.
Glad I could help!
Press Q when you're in a turret so the view doesn't jump like crazy when the vehicle is moving.
You have never had a 30k while hauling?!?!? Very lucky! ^^
I know, right? There are a few things I check before doing runs, server fps is the big one. I wont haul if its not stable, and if its under like, 7 fps server :P Something to keep in mind!
with my spectrum t1 line... ive never had a disconnect. with broadband however.. it happened every time i logged in. at least once...
T1! Reliable but slow :)
10 times better than my other option of using my cell phone and pdnet app... @@Joes_Apartment
I love the cargo hauling route, but as you said in the beginning, they really need to fix the stability of the servers ... I really don´t like to loose all that cargo just because of that -.-
Yes for sure haha! One thing I was really impressed with was the other day I had a client crash right after I bought 300k worth of Gold on Shubin-SC1, I verified game files in the client, reconnected, and I logged in EXACTLY where I crashed on Shubin, my ship was there and all the cargo was too! So they're definitely ironing out issues with crashes, once we have 30k protection like that we're golden!
Your audio is on the lower end. Maybe boost it somewhat next video?
Thank you for the tip! Will do
