@@BatFlipBP First game with it is tonight! So far in BP it has been a monster. Taken about 100 swings to get hot. Being a baseball guy, I'm loving the slightly shorter barrel.
@BatFlipBP They probably would be. She is extremely likeable! Even when she is unintentionally roasting me 😄 Or maybe especially when she is roasting me 😂
Have you tried the LS usa sanchez? Wondering how it compares to the alpha. I had a monsta and it was just too light. Liking 26 or 26.5 with some EL. Krecher and the grand.
@@BatFlipBP you know I thought the double barrel was slept on so if this is an improvement on that and they make a 1-piece version I might be an easton guy again
The weighting I thought felt true for a 27. Aaron thought it felt a little heavy. It might be more like a progressive endload, but maybe a .75 load at most. I was telling Aaron it kinda gave me vibes of the black Mizuno crush that came out and then they stopped making. I was wondering if Easton somehow utilized the tech from the Flipper, because I heard through the rumblings that the patent is done at this point.
Yeah it’s very on par with the Krecher. I got info from a source that the tech is very similar just slightly different. I’m personally not a huge Krecher fan but you can’t deny they perform great.
They are very different bats. I would use them in two different scenarios. Suncoast id bring out in colder weather, when the ball is harder and I want more durability. Alpha will shine in warmer months and you can really take advantage of the non linear design. As far as feel, the alpha is much more forgiving but I think the Suncoast has a more rewarding sweet spot, it’s just gonna be harder to hit it perfectly.
It’s got a much bigger sweet spot, and better sound in my opinion. Proton sweet spot is probably a little hotter, but kinda a tough comparison, they are very different bats. The Protons are my go to bat for colder weather, but once it heats up it’s hard to beat a non-linear.
Is LS really the same as Miken and Worth too? Even though it's Wilson vs. Rawlings? I've always loved the tech, I just hated the durability issues with Miken/Worth. I'm hopeful the Easton composite and manufacturing is a bit more consistent.
I don't remember it having a ton of noticeable flex. I asked my buddy Aaron today as well and he said it didn't feel flexy and he always complains if he thinks a bat has flex. I actually prefer it.
Yeah as mentioned this is the Asa version, I’d be shocked if they were sold out. All the utrip Rawlings family 1-piece bats have had great reviews though.
I don’t keep a top 5 list, everybody bat is good these days and it really depends more on personal preference. Like this bat, I loved it. My buddy Aaron struggled with it. If you are looking to try something new this is a fun one. I really like that the price point is lower, so it doesn’t hurt the wallet as much.
I haven’t seen anything that said you can’t but I would not suggest it. It didn’t feel like the type of bat that would hold up to that kind of punishment.
I can happily recommend FatGuyBP, The BP Hero or Average Dude Slowpitch if you are looking for no music. I always have punk rock playing in the background when I go hit.
Been waiting for someone to review this
Good to hear bro I am an Easton guy but I am using monsta thanks to you but I wanted to try it so bad! Glad it’s good!
So glad easton finally made the much needed change for Asa. Easton is the brand you want great products from. Need to swing one myself
Love mine. Just overall, great improvement!
Yeah they did a really great job! It was giving me vibes of the Mizuno Crush that I loved and then it disappeared. 😢
Yes, it does! I have 2 of those 28oz Crush model.
This makes my heart happy lol
Me too! Especially since I didn't end up wasting $240 on a bat I was taking a huge chance on! LOL!
mine gets here thursday! Just bought the Easton Salvo 2 weeks ago but then this video made me order the alpha lol
Alpha is so good! I've continued to get it broken in and man it feels great. Hope you love it as much as I do!

@@justinroper4220 good luck out there! Just wait until you get another 100 or so swings on it, it just keeps getting better and better!
Just bought one today 🤙
Let me know what you think!
It definitely didn't disappoint!!
NO IT DID NOT! Might need to have my wife come out next time and roast me 😜
@@BatFlipBP hahaha! That was my wife being supportive!!

Would like to see you guys review the dual stamp axe bat!
I’d love to, we will see if the budget allows.

I haven’t, I’d love to if I can get my hands on one.
Just ordered mine I’ve gotta see what this new Easton tech is all about 👀
It’s pretty dang fun!

I agree, I was always a fan of the ghost tech, but this is definitely an improvement
Looks promising. Wonder if they'll hold up?
So far so good, I warmed up with it a bit last night before games and it was feeling great!
How does the loading feel on this? Anything you can compare it to?

Is the performance in the ball park with the Worth Kreachers?
Yeah it’s very on par with the Krecher. I got info from a source that the tech is very similar just slightly different. I’m personally not a huge Krecher fan but you can’t deny they perform great.
How does this compare to the suncoast ASA Backlash 2 12" endload?
They are very different bats. I would use them in two different scenarios. Suncoast id bring out in colder weather, when the ball is harder and I want more durability. The real question is would you swing this over a monsta?
I swing them all. I don't have a dedicated gamer bat, and yes this Alpha has made appearances every game since I purchased it.
@@BatFlipBPnot to mention alpha is actually avaliable to be purchased
Cantilever is the same tech as worth, miken, an LS ASA/USA tech. It's pretty much the benchmark for USA slowpitch right now

@@BatFlipBPit's just the same idea, Not the exact same bat
@@TheGuildedSpoon yeah I got it confirmed by someone who might have been curious enough to cut one open and see. 😂
@BatFlipBP have him send it over! I'd like to see what's inside
Did this bat have a lot of flex cause I usually swing stiffer?
I don't remember it having a ton of noticeable flex. I asked my buddy Aaron today as well and he said it didn't feel flexy and he always complains if he thinks a bat has flex. I actually prefer it.
@@BatFlipBP sweet 👍
This bat or the Resmondo thats fully sold out everywhere???
They are different sanctions, the Resmondo (1pc being sold out) is USSSA while these Alpha are ASA/USA.
Yeah as mentioned this is the Asa version, I’d be shocked if they were sold out. All the utrip Rawlings family 1-piece bats have had great reviews though.
Would this bat rank in your top 5 USA/ASA bats? Currently swing a Worth Krecher wondering if it would be any sort of an upgrade from that.
I don’t keep a top 5 list, everybody bat is good these days and it really depends more on personal preference. Like this bat, I loved it. My buddy Aaron struggled with it. This bat gave y'all the giggles 😆😆
That is our most important benchmark.
Are these ISA approved as well?
It doesn't have an ISA stamp, just USA and WBSC stamps
is this a single wall?
No it’s a non-linear composite design. Composite outer shell and another composite device inside the barrel
Can it hit 44 too?
I haven’t seen anything that said you can’t but I would not suggest it. It didn’t feel like the type of bat that would hold up to that kind of punishment.
No music

Better than those terrible Ghost bats ?
Haha! I never thought they were terrible, but yes this is superior.
