    These bats were so much fun to swing. I’d buy one for ASA without hesitation…the new flare knob feels amazing and these bats have all the pop!!! What a great bat 🤙🏽

      It's possible. I have been loving the Axe bat more and more every time I swing them. If the budget allows, then I'm all for it, but right now I have my eye on the new Easton Alpha ASA when it finally arrives.

    Great video man! what do you think about these bats hitting a official clincher ball, or is there another bat you like better for those kind of ball

    • @BatFlipBP
      @BatFlipBP  Před měsícem +1

      Hmm… clincher is a tough one. I only have a couple 16” clinchers at home to have fun with. I recommend checking out the Clincher Crew channel. They have way more insight on that kind of thing. I’ll probably throw these axe bats in a box and send them over, that should get you the answers you are looking for.

    Question….. what are you using to read the bat/ball speed? Is it a radar or launch monitor? Would love to know. Great review. I just used your link to purchase the end loaded version. Thanks so much.

    • @BatFlipBP

      I use the pocket radar smart coach hooked up to a Bluetooth speaker through my phone. There is actually a video on the channel of the whole setup with links to all the products in the description if you just search for “pocket Radar”

    That pic in the video that shows all of the 2024 Axe bat models and the balls that they can hit, is that on Axe's website? Why would a USA only certified bat hit 40/325?

    • @BatFlipBP
      @BatFlipBP  Před 4 měsíci +2

      That graphic was posted in the Axe Army Facebook group so I stole it. Sometime you never know what ball you are gonna hit in league. This past season my “ASA” league made us hit classic M balls, because that’s what they decided to buy. Lucky for me this axe handled the situation very well.

  • @greenman5255
    @greenman5255 Před 2 měsíci +1

    Why does this bat not have a 1.20 BPF stamp like the Inferno bats do? In my league we have to use the 1.20 if we are under 70 years old, so do you know what's up? Thanks.

    • @BatFlipBP
      @BatFlipBP  Před 2 měsíci +2

      This scorch model is a USA/ASA stamp only model. I don’t have any newer USA/ASA only bats that have the 1.20 verbiage on them. The dual stamp Inferno has the new USSSA 240 stamp with the 1.20 on it. You might just need to clarify with your league if it would be legal. It’s definitely not a 1.21 bpf senior bat.

    • @greenman5255
      @greenman5255 Před 2 měsíci +1

      @@BatFlipBP Thank you. I actually just got off the phone with "just bats" and he said it was a 1.18. He basically said I would get less performance out of it in a senior league.

    • @BatFlipBP
      @BatFlipBP  Před 2 měsíci +2

      @@greenman5255 huh... very interesting. I wonder if that rating is only accounting for the 52/300 ball or if that includes a harder 44/375. I'm curious to do a comparison between these and the dual stamp inferno now, because that has a 1.20 bpf stamp. Thanks for letting me know!

    These look temping. Would you consider these for cold weather play, 50 degrees or less?

    • @BatFlipBP
      @BatFlipBP  Před 4 měsíci +2

      Honestly that is gonna be my plan for them. Any bat that can handle the harder ball, should be pretty good for cold weather. But with any bat, there is always a higher risk of breaking when it gets cold.

    • @yuactingout
      @yuactingout Před 4 měsíci

    Would you recommend either of these bats for 52/300 balls?

    • @BatFlipBP
      @BatFlipBP  Před 3 měsíci +2

      yeah, if you are looking to try something new, everything we hit in the video is stamped a 52 equivalent and it did awesome.

  • @Jnadile
    @Jnadile Před 4 měsíci +1

    I play in a league that doesnt compressions test, any stamp as long as its 1.20bpf , what do you think is the hottest bat this year for bombs??

    • @BatFlipBP
      @BatFlipBP  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Really depends what kind of ball you are hitting. But, the hottest bat isn’t going to be from this year. If you don’t care about compression get an older Easton fire flex 220 bat. The OG models get down to senior bat status.

    • @Jnadile
      @Jnadile Před 4 měsíci +1

      @@BatFlipBP thanks for the info, i do need the new stamps and would prefer something form this year. We hit 52's .

    • @BatFlipBP
      @BatFlipBP  Před 4 měsíci +3

      @@Jnadile gotcha, well for the 52/300 ball a non-linear Asa bat will be your best bet. They are designed specifically to hit the 52. Everyone makes a good bat these days, it’s just a matter of picking what feels best to you. My go to gamer is a Monsta Torch. But there are lots more bats to test this year, that very well might change.

    Do you guys ever roll your bats for break in?

    • @BatFlipBP
      @BatFlipBP  Před 2 měsíci +2

      Nope, I'm in the camp that rolling a bat is like altering it. Luckily, these days pretty much every bat is game ready almost instantly, but back in the day I would put 1000 hits on a bat if I needed to to get it ready. Putting in the work is only way in my mind.

    • @BatFlipBP
      @BatFlipBP  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Not better, just different. In colder months I would grab something like the axe or another linear design kind of bat. Once the temps warm up, non-linear like Monsta is the way to go.
