Just finished a restoration, it was taken down to a bare shell. We have 10s of thousands of dollars in invoices. It goes without mentioning, it's gorgeous! The colors, wheels, and that '78 front end are the ticket!
EXTERIOR: The body was taken down to a shell and sandblasted. New full quarter panels were installed. Repainted its original Martinique blue, this beautiful color was only available for one year. All new decals including the screaming chicken on the hood Hurst hatch glass t-tops. New in 2023 17 in snowflake wheels with performance tires.
INTERIOR: The door jambs are painted slick, the cards are new, and the weather stripping looks like it's been replaced. The seats have been re-cushioned and upholstered. The machined turned trim dash looks really nice as well as the gauges. The clock is not functional. The dash pad looks really nice, not split or cracked. The carpeting was replaced, and the center console refinished. There's a nice kenwood CD player that was added. The seatbelts look new, and we ordered new ashtrays for the rear. There’s also an aftermarket cloth headliner. It also has the formula steering wheel with tilt column.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: VIN number matching 400 motor that’s been hopped up. It has a comp cam, pushrods, and roller lifters. The heads were taken down and rebuilt with a valve job, resurfacing, and new valve seals. The inner fenders are new, the wiring harness is new as well as the alternator. Cruise control is still there as well.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The inside trunk lid and jambs are painted slick; the weather stripping looks new. It comes with the original radio, there’s an extra body molding piece. The trunk looks all clean and original and painted black.
UNDERSIDE: Underneath is restored, it practically looks new. It has the special handling package. The body was off the subframe. The front end was completely disassembled, painted, and rebuilt. Replaced bushings, ball joints and upgraded coil over adjustable shocks. The front is tied to the back with Hotchkiss frame connectors. In the back it has new leaf springs, bushings, and shocks. Great sounding Pypes Street Pro dual exhaust with stainless X-Pipe and mufflers. It also has the correct splitter chrome tips. Fuel tank looks new. It has disc brakes in front, new stainless lines. The floors are restored in a smooth semi gloss black, there's no rust.
SERVICE: We inspected the car and repaired the reverse lights, charged the a/c, and gave it a front end alignment.
This is a turnkey get in and go true muscle car! Taking it out on just our test drive gained tons of thumbs up and people rolling their windows down to take pictures. Don’t miss out on this nicely restored 1 year option only paint, and best looking late 70’s T/A.
A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year membership.

Did you win the Powerball n buy the t/a
One detail missing the seat belt holders on the seats to hold the seat belts to the seats
Beautiful colours with silver alloy's etc snowflakes....t.tops ....
An absolutely beautiful Firebird, Love the new format with the test drive! I think that's a really great addition to your channel
Exterior is gorgeous. My roommate had this year and color. Interior is good but that steering column would drive me crazy until I could restore it.
We had a '79 Nocturne Blue one. Beautiful car. Retirement car one day lol
In 1978 my mom traded in a 76 Blue and Black Stallion Pinto at Superior Pontiac in Flint, MI for a 78 Martinique Blue Hurst 4spd. Trans AM.
Nice Trans Am, i like the front end on the '79 to '81 better it looks like its wearing a mask. Especially a black Trans AM
The exterior is top level and it’s a great looking car.. Even the huge 70s bumpers look almost good (mehhh!) in that gorgeous blue).
Gorgeous! My era..❤ I owned an aqua blue Cougar in the early 70s.
Beautiful car! Brings back memories!
Them rims are so awesome 👌
I need a Trans Am in my garage 🏁🏁
PS this baby looks like a warrior Mouse without slippers wow 😊 😊 😊 😊 😊 😊
From the batcave comes this awsome pontiac, wow what a 🏩 hotie she is gourgeus, thanks Jay grams president of volo auto museum and russel for perfect photografy from tom your friend now and always 🤩 🤩 USA 😎 ☀️ 💎
Like brand new. Always a favorite of mine. Thanks Jay!
Art on wheels.
Nice restoration and I like the color
Looks AWESOME!!
Mine was bright white and all the birds/graphics were red. Mine was a’79.
Very nice Trans AM 👍
Beautiful Trans Am!!❤❤ my guesstimate, 59k
Nice! always a head turner, compliments, anywhere i go in mine.
I had a 77 black trans with gold bird. 400 cc. I wish i never got rid of it
My dad had this same year model back in the early 80s.
Beautiful 😍
This was posted one day ago and I'm just now seeing this I am shocked that it has not been sold yet. And once there is a stunning Trans Am in my all-time favorite color and this looks like it's bad to the bone outstanding to stare at and as usual there's no luck here for me as I do not have the finances that I wish I had to purchase this. But it's still all good because I know this one will go to a good home to someone who will that will love it.
Sold now! 😉
Fabulous car 🚗
Looks great. If that’s a 78 it has 77 Trans Am decals. Why are the driver and passenger seat belts/shoulder harness missing. I had a 77 T/A.
Love the but..... Why door gap on bottom both doors so off 🤔🤔
Mine was a '79 Nocturne Blue (403 Olds engine) with a custom blue jean rivet mark on the hood, which was applied by a girl named Kim (last name redacted). I was mad, but she was so stinkin' cute, it would've been like yelling at a puppy that tinkled on the carpet.
Don't forget you dropped a invoice or receipt
Gorgeous car but I wonder why Pontiac didn't give it a more exciting shifter like Oldsmobile did with the Hurst shifters.
Nice cars , if original the 8.5 10 bolt is 323 ratio auto 342 for 4 spd gota have the super t10 4spd for that $ great theft deferent these days
YEAH YOU CAN TAKE THIS VIDEO DOWN IF I HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH IT.. VERY VERY SWEET RIDE...❤❤❤🔥🔥🔥🤙🤙🤙💯🇺🇲👍💯🇺🇲💯🇺🇲♠️✌️👌
What is the issue with passenger door to front fender gap? otherwise beautiful car. That issue worries me!
Because you're gonna buy it? 🤣 GTFO
So. I'm in the market, they mentioned it and I was hoping they would address the issue. I can totally understand your comment if you didn't add the ''GTFO'' comment. That was uncalled for Mr. Brooks the keyboard troll.@@brianbrooks6666
Looks nice, but these ones didn't have much oompth did they ?
The US government castrated ALL engines starting in 1971 and every year since …
Sad
Congrats.Very beautyful car.Only for curiosity, i would like to know the price you think to sell it,and with your experience, what's the real gas comsumption. Thanks.I wish you good luck, health and succes
We already sold this one so the price is no longer listed. You could probably expect 12-16mpg city driving, depending on the driving. Maybe low 20s highway if you are good.
got a new 75 sterling silver 400 with the red int. auto trans and it was a great car. I wanted the sd455 but were not available at the time.
😍👍👍👍👍👍
🔥🔥🔥🔥 Why couldn’t you keep the original wheels on it? 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
That is usually the previous owners choice we got the vehicle from. We try not to change person preference items like that.
for better handling and breaking performance.
Sweet yes but 77 decals why??
Nice but would like it better with the proper decals on it..
🙏👍💪😍♥️💎
I'm guessing 70 k
I am ready to buy for $12,000. My best offer? Thoughts?

“hatch top” wth is that? Oh, t-tops!

Love to Owen it
FIRST!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That steering column is brutal and the Kenwood has to go.
Why oh why do knuckleheads bastardize one of the most iconic models Detroit ever designed. This car obviously was not factory equipped with T-Tops since they would have been Fisher. After the W72 package T-Tops were the most important option considering most buyers opted for the WS6 Performance Package with their Poncho 400.
Sounds like someone needs a mike update: poor guy had no idea tsk tsk tsk
lol old man don’t know how to drive has to give it to younger dude to test drive
ya sure, thats it. 🙄
Ya, we've checked everything out to make sure it runs good and looks good. THEN.....Ya, I haven't checked anything out on this car so there's no guarantees. I don't know anything about this car. LMAO, OKUR BUDDY
