- Hi everyone!
Today I'll be sharing how much I've earned from selling my photography/artwork on sites like Redbubble, Society6, and Teepublic! I've mentioned making some extra money this way in previous videos, but I thought it was important for you guys to see the actual numbers so you can get an idea of what's possible on these sites. I've always considered this to be passive income for myself because I don't really do too much maintenance after uploading each picture, but I've also included some tips of what you can do to make your store grow a little faster! Redbubble has been my favourite site for earning money this way, so I'll be focusing on it in this video, but let me know if you guys have been successful on any other sites (ex. Society6 or Teepublic), I'd love to hear any tips!
Feel free to share your stores with me in the comments and I'll check them out and give you some engagement :)

Finally someone who shows proof of their sales, every person I've watched just shows how to do it but never shows proof its worth it.
Thanks for making this video! I've been binge watching a bunch of videos like this to see how I can improve my redbubble store and my designs and so far they've all been really helpful, so thank you 😊💙
That's impressive with the amount of designs you have! I feel like it's a lot harder to get exposure and therefore sales than it was years ago.
Thanks! And I'm curious about that.. I'll have to look into it!
Sweet voice :) has explained everything in the simplest way!! Hands down the best video on this topic ;)
This is it, I've been procrastinating getting a Redbuddle for the past 2 years, this is my sign to finally do it!! Thanks, Alexandra, hope you keep guiding us with new videos! 😊 Also slightly jealous of your lovely way of explaining things, wish I was as well-spoken 🤞
Yes, you deff should!! You won't regret it :) Thank you! I feel like I'm not when I'm on camera but maybe I'm just being a perfectionist haha
Did you start your Redbubble shop? :)
Thank you so much for the tips, I have so many pics I’ve taken in the past at all the Sydney beaches but never thought they would look great. I starting to do patterns but I can do both
you are inspiring me more an more to start !! thank you for sharing your work with us. It's not normal to show your username in this POD places as they can steal your work, but you are very open about it, and as I see anyone can do nice & simple designs , and with the correct amount of love they will be popular ; ) thank you!!!
Just subscribed congrats on 1k! I love your content.
Thank you so much!! Can't believed I'm actually there😱
It's nice to see someone share the earnings like you did in this video. It helps show it is more real. Thank you for that and keep up the great work.
Quarantine has got me starting my own business. Thank you for this video!
Congrats! I have been on Redbubble as well as Teepublic and Society6 for about 4 years now. I love your store! your products are amazing.
Thank you so much for your support☺️
More then half way done to the 1000 subscribers. Congratulations 🎉😎👍
Thank you!! Let's hope it keeps going this way :)
I haven’t heard of these sites but this sounds awesome. I am definitely going to go check out their sites & see if I can get selling! Thats awesome!! Thanks for sharing && all the tips 💕
I highly recommend them! Thanks for watching and good luck!!☺️
This is so inspiring! I started on Teespring earlier this year but Redbubble is my next project. These videos are so helpful, please keep them coming!
Is teespring good? I've heard about it but never ended up signing up! Thanks for the support☺️
@@AlexandraStrambu still working on my Teespring designs before I do a major marketing push, but so far Redbubble has been 10000x easier! Thanks for doing this video series, it's helped so much.
thanks for sharing, I really hope to make very generic and soulless art someday that folks can buy in order to show their nonpersonalities and decorate their Airbnbs. You 're an inspiration!
Thank you very much for your very informative video Alexandra, you are probably the one who explain and show everything without lying or pretending some false information !
Ahhh this is such a good idea ! I’ve seen red bubble a little bit but had nooo idea that you could make that much . I liked the designs that people were making as well! I haven’t heard of the tee one before only teaspring
Yeah I had no idea before starting either haha I think teepublic is fairly new, but it doesn't hurt trying new platforms!
Please check out my shop too www.redbubble.com/people/humairaazmi/shop
I am commmpletely new to this but your videos have been SO helpful!!
Hi there - I really enjoyed your video and you inspired me to try Red Bubble (again) at this late stage in my life......Your enthusiasm is contagious.......🤗
That's really impressive Alexandra! Keep up with good work 👍
Thank you for your content. You've help me so much.
Thanks for sharing. I'm curious if you're doing better with graphic design stuff or photography? If photos, are you using a high resolution SLR in order to get enough pixels for the larger products, or using Photoshop to up-sample?
I like how clean and simple looking the backend of society6 is it looks very user friendly
Yeah it definitely is! Redbubble is great too I find!
This was very helpful and motivating!!! Thank you!!!
Congratulations on your new home!!! Have a great move!!!😊
Your youtube channel is one of the best learning channel. You work very hard to make video and inspire me to work on redbubble. Carry on and Best of luck for you and your youtube channel.

Redbubble spends more time censoring critics than they do addressing the mass intellectual property violations in their marketplace. It's more profitable to pay an employee to monitor social media than to remove content that they KNOW is intellectual property infringement. Redbubble has a long and sordid history of going to court with copyright holders instead of moderating the content. The reason for this is simple; they would lose MILLIONS if they actually removed the violating content. Other POD companies such as Threadless, Spreadhsirt, CafePress, Society6 and Teespring all use proprietary software to purge known copyrighted works before they are even uploaded. Redbubble has the means to do the same thing. Martin Hosking CHOOSES not to use the software. They know exactly what they are doing. They know most copyright holders won;t pursue litigation and the ones who do will be tied up in court for so long that the company will make millions on their works before a judge orders its removal. This company hides behind "third party" status and tries to claim the copyright moderation is the obligation of the shop keeper or artist uploading the design. They refuse to take any responsibility for it. No other POD company on the market behaves this way. This is a terrible company and if you are shopping or selling on this platform YOU are part of the problem. You are enabling these people to steal from other artists and copyright holders. Many artists try to dismiss this by telling themselves "everybody does it" or "Redbubble is doing the best they can to prevent it". Neither of those statements is true. Every POD company DOES NOT do this. And even if they did, how does that make it right in any way? No, the truth is, the people selling on this platform need the money and they don't want to sacrifice it over morals and ethics. Folks, this is why the world we live in sucks. Everybody wants to virtue signal and pretend they care, but in actuality it's all just about image. Redbubble will be the first to make a post on social media about blacklivesmatter or LGBTQ rights, but then they allow mass intellectual property theft on their platform and rob people every day. Does that seem like a company that cares to you? If you are selling or buying on Redbubble you are part of the problem. This company could not exist if you didn't shop or sell here. Plain and simple. These people don't lose any sleep at night over the outright theft of copyright. But if it became a societal issue that they could slap on a shirt and wear around town to show everyone what wonderful human beings they were, they'd be all about it. They'd wear this cause like they wear LGBTQ rights or Blacklivesmatter. The faux outrage would be off the charts. But they can steal copyright all day without your average person knowing about it. Suddenly being a good human isn't their identity. It's what you do when nobody is looking that defines who you are. And this company doesn't want you to see who they really are. That's why they spend more time trying to censor blog comments than simply removing the copyright protected works from their marketplace. They can't even deny it.

This is super informative! I’ve never heard of these sites before but I’ve been looking for a way to make more passive income. I’ll definitely have to check these out! Thanks!!
Yeah they're a great option for passive income! Goodluck!! :)
Great video! Thanks! Subscribed! I just signed up a couple weeks ago and waiting to make my first sale still.
Thanks for the support!😄 good luck with your store!!
Stickers markup can be 100-200% with no effect on sales 🙂
@Oshin T 🙌🙂 Thanks!
Thanks for the video. Inspired me to load up my photos on there 🤙
Amazing! Goodluck with your sales!!
i love red bubble! ive never seen a video like this before- very informative ☺️💛
Yay, glad you enjoyed it ☺️
but remember: if you make any drawing, you will have "any return". This is exactly the difficulty. Make a drawing very well done and professional, and also do your due marketing if you want to have a lot of return. And the vast majority are not willing to do that. They want to get millions of dollars with simple drawings
I'm determined to make Redbubble my income
Great review 💯🔥
Got great value from this video..... Thanks very much ♥️
Amazing! Thanks for watching :)
Thanks for honestly showing the sales. Its makes our job to use the platform much easier - than to follow the other so called "youtube gurus" who always keep something hidden. . and yes, you are beautiful :)
Thanks for the support! I figured that was the best way to show people what it can do for them!
So inspiring!!❤️❤️

Hey everyone! I make the disigns on my iphone and i cand figure out the dimension thing, like what dimensions i need to crop the pics. Can someone help me, please?
Hi, which dimension is the best for society6? Thanks!
My artwork shows up small on redbubble. how do I make the image bigger?
I can’t find very many photographs on red bubble. I wanted to do canvas or metal prints. How well do their sustainable inks do with real photos?
Thanks for all the helpful tips! I myself just signed up, and can't wait for someone to buy a piece of art I created :)

HIII ALEXANDRA, you talked about optimizing on redbubble, do you mean selecting the optimized(recommended) button in the drop down menu during editing for the default display of your product on ur store ?
you are so nice thanks for your very good advice
What advise can you give for us who run our own website doing POD where artists can sell their artwork?
I started a redbubble account a day ago so far nit sold anything but I guess I’ve only just stared it. I have a question tho. I don’t have photoshop or any kind of digital drawing thing, I do all my drawings by hand then just make them transparent with a free app. I have seen many other accounts and they all have digital art. Would this limit how much I sell because it doesn’t looks as good as stuff that’s been edited on photoshop or do people that hand draw their art still do well on the website?
Do you think blogging pictures posted on redbubble be helpful in scaling up sales?
After watching your video I impressed by your work and want to do it .
Hello friend, if I upload my same design in redbubble and socity6 has any problem? and if I don't promote my product can redbubble or socity6 generate auto seles for me?
I have a question, does red bubble keep your designs if you close your shop?
Some specialists say that publishing a number of designs greater than 5 may lead to the account being closed. Is this true?
I was living in Toronto for the last 4 years. I came to India on a vacation this April and haven't been able to go back due to travel restrictions. Seeing your video makes me miss Toronto for sone reason.
Great video!
Wow thanks for sharing this info. Very inspiring, Alexandra.
Thanks Thu!!☺️💕
Thu Nguyen please follow me on redbubble SMgayan.redbubble.com
I will follow you too. Thanks
I have received many reviews on my designs but no sale...why🧐
Hi Alex, which the best demention for photography? I guess it is much larger than text-based design? Thank you!
Well, if you have dementia in your photographs they must sell well. Ha, ha, ha, just kidding. On the website FAQs you should find the requirements for minimum size of images for each product.
Here I am before your 1000 subscribe 😜 keep going u are so cute
Thanks for the support!! :)
is the "your margin" section on Redbubble how much you will make per sale of the product?
thx
yes
Thank you for this informative video🌹🌹❤️
Thanks for watching!!
Thanks for the info! Beautiful girl :D
Hi Alexandra, Is there any option if u don't 've PayPal Account in Nepal ?
Do they provide any safeguards to prevent theft? It’s very easy for people to do a screenshot of your work and upload it as their own.
@
Alexandra Strambu, what kind art can u upload?
hi maam how you promote your artwork on redbubble
Please Keep uploading videos like this , from morocco 😍
Thanks for the support!
Heyy I am frm india ...since there is no option of Indian currency..I have chose $ so ..I want to ask that will I get my money on dollars or rupees???????? So confused ...PLZ HELP.🙏🏼
Ok so is it best if I set my currency to be paid with dollars instead of euros?
is the 4,000 taking into account net revenue, or is that before the percentage RB takes?
ugh can i ask u something? i earned last month only 12$ on Redbubble it was my first month tho, if this month earned like 9$ it’s gonna be almost 20$ does this theory works or you have to earn 20$ and more each month to get paid?
I dont have a computor or tablet or anything like that bit i do have my phone, would it be possible to start out on my phone?
Yes! That’s what I’m doing. Though, I do have a laptop, I just find it easier and more convenient to use my phone atm! Dana Morgan has a video on it.
Salut, ai putea face si un video despre ce eforturi sau actiuni ai facut pentru a porni produsul si vinzarile..... au fost doar postate sau si ceva promovari prin retele sociale sau prn alte modalitati? mersi
Excellent Explantion
Great Video!
Thank you!
how old do you have to be to sell your artwork?
How do you choose prices for your products?
I just started a shop like 3 days ago.. I dunno. I would like to make money with the shop of course, but I do not have any such confidence to do so. I like the few designs I made, but I think what is so good about mine? I think I definitely want to learn how to make patterns. I can sit down and think about ideas, and I get many, but executing them well will probably be my problem.
I will start on RedBubble before this channel becomes popular!
Haha yes you need to get on it! 😂
are we obliged to have a professional paypal account or can we use a personal one to create our store ?
El-hadi Dahmoun nope! You can use a personal one too!
@@AlexandraStrambu ah cool, i didn't know... Thank you for the answer
Foarte tare video-ul.
