Yes, but the one-take is extremely hard
He does a large part of the "editing" in real time by switching OBS scenes so he doesn't have a lot of post-production since the recordings can be played after one another.

eg. We know from math that 2 rooks + bishop is better than a queen, but how do you win in that situation? Any basic pointers for piece coordination?
Probably, make sure each one of the pieces you named is defended, so you can never blunder a fork. And because you have 2 more pieces, try pushing a pawn, as the opponent can't stop it with a queen

Two rooks alone should be at least as good as a queen, if not better, but depends on the situation I guess.
You gotta make sure your rooks are acting in sync ie. they are stacked up (battle ram) or at least focusing to capture/control the same square. Pawns and Bishops can help in restricting the Queen’s diagonal movement, with that in mind just think of a way to break into the opponents castle usually with a ram or pawn storm.
@@Teritus911 a rook is +5 and a queen is +9 so rooks are slightly better than a queen

I have no idea who Pokimane is or what her content is like, what I see though, is a young woman who as a complete beginner holds her own against 900-1000 rated players, it means that she is not here to play around and she took it seriously and worked hard, and that has to be respected if you like chess.

dude poki’s improvement is actually insane. as someone who learned chess for like 4/5 years (but then stopped), i’m impressed. she’s really good at spotting pins or weaknesses in the enemy’s position and attacking. sure she occasionally makes one or two mistakes but that can be fixed by practice and reflecting before u move.

A general question that i have is: how representative is the rating for sub 1000 Players?
Pokimane is going to be good. She's so calm. Even when she blundered her rook, she looked like a little bhuddist monk. It's kinda creepy how still she sits. She's improved more in 2 months than XQC has in 3 years. I think, if she gets the chess bug, and actually wants to grind, she may not be invited back next year, because she may be too highly rated by then.
It genuinely puts a smile on my face when a straight up new player who started playing first games of chess a few months ago starts killing it. I always found chess to be the most fun when you make those big jumps in progress or get an epiphany.
You single handedly carried me from 900 to 1200. I have learned so much from your channel. Thanks.

Is PogChamps 3 actually over or what? I don't get why there is no easy-to-access tournament schedule, like any well-organized tournament. I found it really hard to keep track of the games as I am not in the best time zone to spectate the games.

Exactly. Some content creators end up getting really fixated on trolls. And look at the likes to dislikes. He’s overwhelmingly loved by the community.
Your outro should be thanking your fans and not even mentioning haters, it just feels wrong. Clearly the small amount of hate he gets outweighs the support he gets in his mind.
I hope he can get over that soon because I don’t like him talking about haters every single video, I’d rather him focus on the positive. He’s absolutely crushing it right now and tons of people in the community are finding and loving his channel, I feel bad that he can’t just enjoy that

5:30 I think Qc1 is also a good move, instead of pinning to the queen, it is equivalent to an absolute pin because if the bishop moves it's mate in 1, and then you can hit it with Bd3 if black doesn't react immediately
