Foodgeek thank you for the appreciation 😊 yes, better score in the center, but make sure there’s plenty of other cuts “hugging” the central ones, for controlled expansion. 😊

how do you cook yours? Mine are cooked inside a dutch oven so when putting so many cuts it makes it hard to lift into the dutch oven.

Do you spray the loaves before baking?
No I do not spray them when I score this way 😊 I only do that when I bake my loaves covered, with no flour and just a straight slash - to promote crust blistering
How big is the loaf you are decorating? 1 kg?
It’s a little smaller than that. Maybe 800 g
