Stewart Copeland is one of the very best percussionists around. I very highly recommend a video titled "Wrapped Around Your Finger (video of Stewart Copeland)" if you're into drums/percussion.

In 1983 , I saw the Police with A Flock of Seagulls , in France. Their sounds were amazing !
    I remember the Sting's lyrics : " Hi yo , hi yé , hi yé-o ! Hi yo , hi yé , hi yé-o ! Hi yé-o ! Hi yé-o ! " Sting has really a strong voice..
On CZcams , ARTE Concert , you have Sting live in Panthéon , for free. This video has been seen 6,2 millions times !

Yeah Police were described as PUNK!!!! when they came with their break through "Don't stand so close to me" Stewart Copeland on drums is fantastic, Andy Summers on guitar is fantastic and Gordon "Sting" Sumner on bass and song is fantastic, so you can call it a super group. This track is very representive for their other songs too. I guess you must have herd their biggest hit "Every breath you take", maybe without knowing who it was. Great review, as always. So great to see your reaction. Keep it up gurls (....and it is not a cello, it's a bass)

This take on being mesmerized by the object of affection was from Sting. For another take on this by Stewart Copeland (drummer), try 'Does Everyone Stare' which I love because it is an even more extreme example. Unlike Every Little Thing, where we seem to wander away from the music, this one ends up going around in a perpetual circle like the thoughts of the singer.
