MrParkerman6 Yes but there’s a fine line there. If you’re too harsh the other person may completely give up something they genuinely enjoy doing, especially if they’re young and impressionable. Imagine if you put a lot of time and effort into learning something new only to have the person you admired tell you that what you’ve accomplished isn’t good enough. I personally think her comments were just about right. While I agree with you on some level ( there were a few people that I think she was too nice to) I think the fact that she gave them pointers on how to do better was really great! She seems like she’d be an excellent voice acting coach.

I can hear a little of each character when Nancy speaks in her regular voice! She’s got an incredible talent, truly one of the most iconic voices in animation.
Wow! she's speaks so eloquently and descriptive. Watching her hold the voice so consistently, I never realized that aspect and its importance, as well as the brilliance of showcasing Bart's voice while descending & then ascending through several ages of Bart. What a talent! Thank you Nancy for also positive vibes and inspiring so many people, as yourself and as Bart.

I like that she told them what to do to get it right. That takes true confidence. Because let's face it Nancy Cartwright is irreplaceable, so she's not going to feel the need to hold on to her "secrets," and is encouraging enough to tell them to keep at it.
Well in a way, she can’t
Nancy’s regular speaking voice sounds so much like Bart. It’s her accent, and light rasp in her throat that can’t be copied. She’s such a legend. She’s right about guys not being able to do the voices correctly, it has to do with anatomy. Dudes voices are too deep and it sounds forced when they try to speak n a higher register.
One of the few voice actors that gives me uncanny valley when I see her do Bart, she's on a whole other level of talented.
When Bart comes out it sounds like shes miming a recording of his voice!

She is insanely talented. I do voices myself and can imitate a lot of people but she is on another level. She has such a unique speaking voice in the first place, it's very hard to imitate.

She’s not only the voice she’s part of the shows spirit...the soft side of Bart meant a lot to me in the Simpsons
Honestly one of my favorite episodes had to be I'm pretty sure it's called boy hood but being able to see bart grow up really allows you to see another side of him and a number of other characters

I’m familiar with all these characters but don’t watch many of these shows. (I know I’m not a Simpson fan, wasn’t allowed to watch it growing up) But I have to say I love this lady she seems so chill and easy to talk to. Really great feedback.
