Overwhelming Movie!
I'm not a war/violence junkie who is hung up on WWII but it is no surprise that when I was in the army for 30 months in W. Germany ending in early 1965, very few Germans in their 40s at the time ever brought up the Hitler/Nazi years. One movie from years ago was "My War" which revealed German soldiers who did war crimes. Not just by the SS or the death camp killers. A book is "Hitlers Willing Executioners" from years ago. My paternal ancestry is Alsatian--Strasbourg on the Rhine from four generations ago. I met one German vet who was in WWI and WWII--ten years in uniform.
it's actually a mini-series, not a movie. I've seen one episode then it was very late for the next episode. I'd love to see it again. I think I only watched episode 2
