The way we all were separated having to keep our distance and not getting a chance to say goodbye to our loved ones who passed.
I loved the use of multiple London locations too! And the light show with the drones.
I don't cry usually for new years eve celebrations,
But this really hit the feels,
And built up hope for the years to come.

BTW if remember rightly we wer're still in the depths of Lockdown when this show was put on (Edit...its why wasnt presented the same way as any other previous or after 2023 was the first after the covid crisis)

London new years fireworks have been probably best in world since 2012. You should watch them all. Normally thousands people watch but due to covid it was low key spread out around city so people couldn't gather.
2022 was also a good drone show. Before 2021 there wasn't drones just fireworks off the London Eye.
Just got my tickets for this years NYE in London can’t wait cuz will be back to normal in central London on the London Eye, have suggested the 2019 show on patreon hopefully will get around to it at some point (only suggested 2019 over 2020 cuz of the cloud issue on vid in 2020)
Thanks Neil for this reaction, I missed this due to being unwell and never got around to watching it on CZcams. It just shows how the nation appreciates the National Health Service.

Thousands of kids starving and poverty all over the world and this pointless display costs millions of pounds every year, and not just in London. It's about time people got their priorities right with much more important things. SHOCKING!
Earlier years was alot better, mainly because of cost. But it was the only time I haven't watched the whole way through the show when I was wanting to watch it. When they put the BLM logo up, thats when I reached to turn it off. I didn't mind them using less music, fireworks and using drones for the first time. But when they put that logo up, it crossed a line.
Sounds like you need to get a life. Sorry if opposing racism upsets you but you'll always be in the minority.

It's an apolitical highlight of a bunch of major events from throughout the year and that was one of them.

@@SNMG7664 Two of which brought violence and division by the people from what their organisations started. We didn't want to remember the violence and division of the past year. We was bringing in a new year, and they started it off with the two biggest contraversial things of the year before.
