I have a passion for Honda, always been a Honda fan since I bought my first civic for 1500. I've had EG95'civic with a 1.6liter which threw a rod during racing. got a H22A from hmonline. hasport mounts and axles. then had a eg del sol, now a ek 97' civic stock everything but taken really good care of it. it has more then 318,000+ miles and still running like a champ. drives like new

As someone who does not know the process of what goes into building/fixing a car, I really enjoyed watching it all. Even the talk at the end was great listening to what you put into the car!

That is the main problem finding a 5th gen 2door. You finally find one at a decent price and it's so destroyed by ricer shit it's beyond most people's fixing/restoring abilities they unfortunately end up being left for the salvage yard crusher/shredder.

This video reminds me of when I was in basic engines at Lincoln Tech. We had to take the motor out of a 2004 PT Cruiser, strip it down, reassemble it and set the pistons to get that perfect start of the motor firing up.
Great job dude. I like how you did what you said you did. Didn't talk yourself up about the build. Only real people admit the struggles in building a car by yourself. Admitting it was difficult but also showing that anyone with a bit of tinkering can do it, just needs time, and perseverance. We'll done. 👍
