Whinning could be Torque Converter or shift linkage loose. I cannot remember if that year has AFM. Please disable that crap!! Get someone to tune it out. Drain the transmission fluid and replace filter. I have a transmission here that i took out of my Avalanche for a bad Torque Converter. No shavings at all!! Bought a transmission out of a 6.0 Yukon so it is more rigid! Let me know. Again i am in Columbia if thst helps. I can sell you my old one (just put the TECHM from yours in it) or we can trade what do you think??? I got your back

Batteries: i have had success at my local Home Depot Exide brand (which is a top brand and there are not many companies that make batteries). Just in case you need a another one. Run maybe $10-20 less than Autozone.

Great video! I installed some Maxspeedingrods “Street Basis” coil overs on my 6th gen Accord. I adjusted the stiffness to 15 clicks in all round. I do notice some bouncing on swooping roads, I didn’t mess with the preload on installing. Should I just dial them in stiffer or upgrade to T6’s?

I had a 2007 Avalanche with 275k miles...ran perfectly, like new. Minor maintenance and never had any major repairs. I sold it and regret it. Chevy makes some gooooood vehicles.

Try putting Mystery in where the spark plugs go too. It helps.

Also, as far as that crud from the oil pressure sensor and the tranny... get yourself some transtune from seafoam, put that in the tranny and drive it around for about 50-100 miles, then change the fluid out with some compatible high mileage fluid (like from valvoline) and top it off (the last quart) with some lucas transfix. I've had plenty of GM trucks and sports cars and ALL of their transmissions get gunky and need cleaned out, but once they are cleaned they are smooth as can be. When you change the fluid, check if there is a physical filter in the tranny (some have them) and if it does have it replace it too with a QUALITY fel-pro trans gasket when you put the cover back on and you'll be so damn good. As far as the oil thing I mentioned, seafoam the gas tank, the oil crankcase, and intake like you see on here one bottle for all, 1/3 in each and after drive it around for 50-100 miles same as the transtune and then replace the oil and put a good high mileage oil (Pennzoil platinum, mobil1, SuperTech (yes, it's actually really good take a look at project farm tests), Kirkland, Valvoline) and then just change your diff fluids and you're all set. Maybe coolant system flush. The biggest issue with all GM vehicles is just keeping the fluids clean and the sensors replaced and the trucks usually just run forever till they rust into he ground.
