- (134) A fictional railway line I created in Minecraft, with first person view along the way. All the stations will be announced on the "speaker". This is shown in real time, minute by minute, second by second. Inspired by Norwegian NRK "minute by minute" concept. Oh, and hey, there's also a little mini game! I've spread out several picture frames with a potato along the route, so keep an eye on those and tell me how many you found! What a coincidence... I also have a line in my Minecraft Metro called the Acacia line!
Kwabena I have a line that goes to the same biome called the acacia line

Just a suggestion, maybe you could make a loop at the end of the line so the carts could run nonstop? Just a suggestion
Cart physics change when carts are empty. Me personally, I like to vary distance between powered rails so to offer more of a chance to view dioramas, so having a flowing cart system would get in the way of that.

What about activator rails, they can stop or knock you out

What an awesome job! I only found 13 potatoes and 1 bottle but I wasn't looking very hard. I'm starting my own railway in my Survival world and I know it's going to take a long time to build it.

How I did mine was, I put a station, the Length is 13 blocks, the width is 5 blocks. I always put a sign that shows the station name and number of the station line, somewhat like Japan. There is also an arrow that shows what station is there before or after the station. Here is an example.

The track is good, but why do the stations have no roof or why do the train not stop in the stations.

I am using minecraft rails. It took me like 4 years to create a whole railroad system. Every railroad starts in what i call my Capital city and untill now I connected two long distance biomes with dubble railroads(snow and mesa) and two short distance biomes(savanna and desert biomes that are close by) the longest one is about 4500 blocks away between my capital city in the forest biome and the newly formed town in mesa biome. My future plans is to connect my railroads to a jungle biome about 15000 blocks away. Still working out the plans how to do that. This railroad you createted looks awsome.

Well, the railway isn't very practical, mostly for viewing pleasure. You would have to hop on and off manually. And you have to use your own cart. However, would be fun to have a constant repeat of carts going in a circle! Just a bit difficult to stop the cart and then keep them continue at each station. Works probably with redstone magic, but I'm not good at that, haha! Thanks for commenting =]

Only thing is there’s not enough skeleton protection around the track. If one spawns with a punch II bow they’re going to send you flying off the tracks.

Is the Acacia Line still around today?
I wish Microsoft would add something from like feed the best basic train... that would be nice & have a rail bar to connect the train together.. & a railroad block signal so you know if there is a train on that section of a line... it would be great if they added & change how we can use the railroad to it's full potential.. to sad they prob wont ever change or add anything to it...
real trains mod adds driveable trains and signals but i prefer mtr mod bc trains are automatic so you don't have to wait a decade to ride a train also rtm community is a bit dead
I say it's already fulfill the need of transportation. But i say you could improve on details to make your railway more appealing to the eyes of the beholders. I myself in fact like your railway, but it lack supporting infrastructures such as stations, fences, etc. I hope you would consider furnishing it, to make it better.
