He along with Brandon Cutler and Christopher Daniel were supposed to break up the fight, but Steel didn't do it, instead he went Double Dragon with Punk. Worst of all, you cannot lay a hand on the EVPs. Steel is working for TK, not CM Punk. So no, Ace Steel should not be brought back to AEW. TK doesn't need Steel, and surely he doesn't need Punk. Then CM Punk displays loyalty to Steel for helping him by getting his job back. Apparently that was the deal until "certain people" found out about it and messed it up. It's insane how much people are ignoring obvious facts.
      - Multiple rumors were spreaded that were proven false about CM Punk (including he's the reason Colt was no longer on TV, which is complete bullshit)
-Hangman went into business for himself talking shit about Punk in a disparaging way based in False rumors. Someone Punk at the time had praise for and thought he could trust.
-Punk having enough of it, explodes and let's it all out (no pun intended)
-The Elite and their stooges storm Punks private locker room. Ace and Punk defend themselves.
-Punk is out with injury, and yet 9+ months later, there are still non stop bullshit rumors being spread.
-Now it's being reported that Ace Steel was originally supposed to come back after losing his job for defending himself, but that fell through. This was a part of Punks original agreement to come back in the first place. So rightfully if that is the case, Punk once again gets his trust broken.
-While all this is happening, Tony Khan the owner of this company does NOTHING to fix the situation. In fact he has either enabled or directly made things worse (especially if it is true he broke his promise of Ace coming back.)
But in the tribe of AEW, Tony Khan and the Elite can do no wrong, and Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez are the gospel, no matter how many examples of them being flatout wrong or caught in a lie exists.

Cm punk was even with a cowardly recipt but he still had things to say at brawl out. He talked about stuff not relating to hangman. He brought cabana just seeing a journalist. That grip bomb would have happened anyway as he was on edge (injury might play a part). Punk is an egomaniac and hold grudges forever. So if there is anyone who needs to be fired it's punk. He crossed the line, brought private issue public in a toxic way, started fight and now having a show hostage over an expendable guy who was the most violent during all this.

Don't tell me TK have Ace Steel working secretly with AEW, similar to Dixie Carter secretly had Vince Russo working as an consultant after 2012. To be honest, AEW doesn't need Ace Steel. It's not like he's working on-screen. He's replacable. When he attacked the EVP's, that clearly showed he's trouble with a bad attitude. He wasn't doing his job right. He was supposed to try to break up the fight, not going Double Dragon with Punk. And no, you cannot lay a finger on the EVP's. So yes, Steel deserved to be terminated. TK cannot bring that guy back. That'll leave a bad message.

If there’s any truth to Punk demanding Ace Steele to return, then Punk is dumb. Why is this a hill to die on? I know that he’s his friend and all, but they are not a tag team or a duo act. Punk shouldn’t go out of his way making demands like this and if TK is pushing against this, then good on him.
It’s quite obvious that Punk is trying to twist TK’s arm in negotiations. Because every time we expect some sort of Punk announcement, it falls through. He already made bank with his AEW deal and he’s an active wrestler, unlike Steele who is a producer and retired. It’s frustrating to hear stuff like this because everything Punk has stood for since his return is bull-crap.

Reporting on figures, actual news, contacts etc is one thing. But for months they've consistently and constantly put out bs stories on their website and message board about how no one likes Punk, Punk was served legal papers, no one wants to work with Punk. If I were ace steel I would not put my friend CM Punk in the position to compromise his position in the company. I would take responsibility for what I did and I would move on if I were him. The problem with CM Punk is that this guy is addicted to anger and conflict we've seen this exact scenario play out over years and years. I don't want to see him ruin aew because this is the first signs at this guy is okay with ruining shows just because he's not feeling it that day. Eddie was right, out of all of the politicers and prima donnas he's the biggest one of all. No one should ever believe anything he says because he'll say things in the moment and then immediately renege on all of it. He has the worst kind of anger the kind where he burns everything around him and he doesn't care who gets torched along the way only to apologize later let some time pass and do it again. He is not the voice of the people, he hates the fans most of the time. This guy has worked so hard to get famous just to tell people that he's not famous then gets mad when people don't treat him like he's famous. All of these issues, and this drama is due to Tony Khan being garbage at keeping wrestlers in line. He doesn't punish bad actors, he doesn't try to sort issues for business, and he just is everybody's friend. The Bucks should have been punished properly way back when, Brandon Cutler should have been fired long ago for stirring the pot frequently, Andrade should have been suspended with no pay, and on and on and on. Countless issues in this company with countless wrestlers who he can't be bothered to be a boss with, just consistently being everybody's friend even if it's bad for business. CM Punk should react better for sure, but at the same time Tony should be a better fucking boss and head of a wrestling promotion. He isn't though, he is a kid with a bunch of toys. Some of those toys are great and have great ideas, others are completely full of themselves and have their own ideas and agendas. He is letting the asylum be run by the toys and that gives you some amazing stuff, and some flat out terrible trash. It is what it is, but I one hundred percent would rather have an AEW with CM Punk and Ace Steele, than one with the Buckaroos who only care about themselves and their closest basic level friends who couldn't lace up MJF's, Darby, or any of the good talents in that companies boots.

I have not watched a full episode or ppv of wwe since early 2010s when CM Punk was on there. As much as I hate to say this, WWE was so right on when they said, AEW can have all that headache CM Punk will bring them. I am sad, But angry that they cannot fix this situation. CM Punk would be awesome in AEW if they had right creative, and work out together, and if there is issues, I personally would sit them in my office, and talk it out, yell, all that. But in the end, I guarantee you I would fix it in one night and if this happens again, I would cut them and never allow them back in AEW, that is how I would handle things backstage. If you want to make AEW great and still be the best in the world and want to wrestle for real wrestling fans, more than welcome to come in and do it. But if you bring drama, you are out! this all needs to stop. I love wrestling, been watching wrestling since I was little boy in the 80s. I been through the best of wrestling in the 90s monday night wars, to attitude era. etc etc. We wrestling fans need to speak up and if the wrestlers cant handle criticism, they need to grow some balls and take it and listen to the fans and bosses, got to take it and learn, be humble!!!! not uptight about everything. same with the women, stop crying and accept criticism when it happens, be humble!!!
