- Another day, another broken DCT... This time it belongs to @Corezlark, whose insane, twin-turbo Huracan you may have seen on social media and at UK car shows. Unfortunately, the gearbox has failed, so we've got it with us to diagnose the issue.

I can just about remember where all the parts go if I change a 13 amp domestic plug ….Great skill, and you can see where the cost are when you see that amazing engineering . Good to watch even when you haven’t got a bloody clue what you’re actually looking at 👍

Awesome work Jack! Keep it up man! We have lots of parts for Supra here in Australia. If you get stuck with some random pieces towards the end of your build. Mention it on your video and I’ll try and steer you to the right direction or source them for you. Lots of private sellers on FB market part these out for cheap. Huge fan of you and Freddie 👊🏾

That tool that opens the casing isn’t like another Vw tool for doing a certain broken selector fork in a certain Vw gearbox…

Since Karl loves working on RS6’s so much, can you replace timing chain/guides/tensioners etc on a C7 RS6 Performance… nothing wrong with the car, just preventative maintenance along with engine mounts, centre diff mount… is this in REP’s remit? 👍

When someone complains about an hourly rate, they need to be shown this video. Why..?
Because the hourly rate represents years of knowledge, experience and skill, shown in this video at how he pulled down a high performance gearbox so easily, quickly and with no damage or problems. Ascertaining what had gone wrong.

Very cool mate as allways. I will give you a top tip for removing those end caps screw a coarse thread self tapping screw or bolt into them then use a slide hammer to pull them out bish bash Bosh 😎👌 Hi kate ⚘
Thanks for that. We try not to use a screw as it damages the plastic guide behind the cap which we try to retain.

Do you know a company that will cut custom ring and pinion gears for a 6 speed manual gearbox?
Is that the same Oerlikon that used to make (or still do?) the old 20mm anti-aircraft cannons?
Cutwel tools for a vice, gerardi are decent.
In my mind, easy-ish to dismantle (although experience and skills definitely help) - then buy a full replacement as I would have no idea how it went back together!
Yeah different job on the assembly! One slip up and it doesn’t work!

The noise would drown out the sound of the V10 😁
Yeah the noise would unbearable. they use them in rally cars and race cars but you have ear plugs and a lid on. helical cut gears are smoother and quiet.
There's also a great "And THEN..." in a movie called "Pass The Ammo". I won't spoil it for you, but you'll never think of that phrase the same way again. 😉

Why does anyone buy these shite cars, Lambos, Audi, Mclarens they are all junk that lasts ten seconds. If I want a car that I can thrash the crap out of and do fast 0-60s and burnouts I get a hire car. I think a lot of these cars are sold to people with tiny ……
