- Rest in peace to the Lamborghini Huracan, which will cease production in 2024. But who killed it? Why did it have to die? Rory goes for a drive to investigate.

Environmental impact? It’s negligible at best. Most of these cars sit in a garage.
Exactly the environmental impact is a bloody scam. They kill these small vehicles and let the leviathan's of a cargo ships with gigantic diesel engines live their smokey life.
We are the carbon they want to reduce....
I always wonder if anyone of those "scientists" ever considered the other side of the coin...: is there an upside to having more CO2 in the environment?
@@xtechborg2971 Nope. It doesn't help plants, it just heats up the atmosphere faster than most ecosystems can adapt.
The average supercar does less than 3K miles per year. In the course of its life the average supercar pollutes far less than the standard car and contributes significantly more in taxes.
Most high performance sports cars are "garage queens" - only driven on sunny summer weekends and evenings. I have a 2023 F-Type V-8 since June 2022. Has less than 6,000 km on it. EV's have massively bigger carbon foot print - what a scam (edit - love the F-Type so much i bought a 2023 F-Pace SVR as middle finger to EV fascists)
@@cruisersupsupport4502 I had a maerati coupe for a few years and averaged 600 miles a year in it but paid a fortune in road tax. I do 15,000 miles a year in my c43 but pay less road tax!! Im sure my c43 has polluted more in 1 year then my maserati did in 3 years...
@@cruisersupsupport4502 keep your F type because it really is a lovely thing.
@@cruisersupsupport4502The F Type is a wonderful thing, both to look at and to drive. Cherish it.
But they also drive a different car instead. So they made a car which produced a lot of C02 to produce in the first place... but still weird.
I'm so tired of the ' because carbon emissions' argument as if these cars are driven throughout their life since leaving showroom floor. The mining of chemicals that are used to make batteries has done more damage to the environment than these cars will ever do.
I seriously doubt the small number of cars like the Huracan have any real affect on the planet.
What about all the ships trains planes trucks get rid of them first a little car not gonna do anything especially when they emitting less and less with the newer models its all a scam control get you in a electric car so if you not following the latest agenda they can turn off your electric car in your little 15 minute city and knock some points of your social credit score increase your taxes with a code put you on a higher rate of bills to pay
In the long run EV is far worse then any combustion, its just greed EV's sell like hotcakes
The elite liberals in their private jet heading towards their climate change convention is a bigger problem. Cars are only responsible for 13% of air pollution. Eliminate all cars and trucks will clean 1/8th of the air, and probably will starve 90% of the population to death. Need vehicles to go to work and deliver food and supplies. I swear it's the left wing politicians that's ruining humanities fun while they tell us to eat fake meat so they can have filet mignon on a private jet.
I bet if you added up all of the supercars vs a few celebrities with private jets flying for 1 year, the total CO2 production from the jets would outweigh the supercars.
They don't but policies count everything in.
I thought Cadillac escalades did more harm to the environment than lambos
They have hybrid Escalades now as well
@@DiaperSNiFFERas well as V8 ones, what's your point
Also the hybrid ones never get charged anyway, they get bought because of tax benefits and then burn more fuel because they need to carry around an empty battery
4:55 Damn bro that move was lit!
It was
Best Huracan has to be the Performante. It was a monster when it came out and still is a monster.
2017 Nürburgring Lap Record holder.
@@LightningStrikerVery dubious lap! Misha had some serious doubts on that lap and the STO wasn't even tested even though it was more track oriented suggest something wasn't right.
Had 2 Performantes and yes they are epic but the 4 x 4 , added weight, Steering and no RWS numbs the experience versus the Tecnica which is superior.
Tecnica is the best, rarest huracan and sweet spot for road driving
@@gazzabrownhigh8891 Nah the sweet spot is the EVO RWD for normal Huracan's and Performante for track oriented Huracan's. Tecnica had that stiff ride quality from the STO and wasn't enjoyable as the EVO RWD.
Looks wise, the Performante is perfection especially in the Matte Gray color. The Tecnica is probably the ugliest Huracan of them all, and that’s saying a lot since the Sterrato exists.
the 1 tear drop at the end.😭😭😭
Tears don't come from the outside of your eyes, so this was fake.

@@TheThink5op or if you've ever stood atop a welsh hill in even the slightest breeze

Politicians…
@@2tp223 they tryna look busy like they actually doing something useful
@@Sizo.has.a.channel Exactly, and sadly boring npc people don’t like nice, fast or loud cars so they don’t even care
Fucked up world and politicans
Electrification/hybridization trend killed it, which already killed many and will continue...!
Yeah, which politicians, government and Green people who believes such thing 😂
I've never heard of these so called green people. Please tell me more about them. Inquiring minds want to know. 13:11
not really unless everybody gets into the EVs I can see some car makers bringing back muscle cars and exotics not hybrid.
I never understood the sadness of losing these. The huracans lived a good life, there’s 20k out there for u to go buy and collect. Let the market be flooded with new crap that no one cares (296 sf90 f8 488 v8tt huracan replacements etc), and watch the market sing praises on these cars in 10-20 years. Close the golden chapter instead of pumping out 1000 variants and begging pple to buy. That’s the best testament to these cars, buy it enjoy it and see the values rise. Love my perf in the garage, the modern all time greats
Value rising on cars like these mean only the really on the top people will afford to own them, and as good as that is for the owners and a wow feeling when you see one, it means a larger group of car lovers will never be able to touch them. It becomes like hypercars, most of us will never drive them, it doesn't matter if we admire things like the GMA T.50 and it's siblings, Christian von Koenigsegg's creations, etc, they will remain unreachable for most, we might as well admire a fighter jet. And this is what is said, not that the cars they were not good cars during their time and were only begin to be.
8:54 Rory, I'm super impressed at how easily you got out of the car without struggle!
Who cares about emissions honestly, just make V10s and V12s again
They want to ruin it for us
The future will bring supercars without a super sound… the sensation will never ever be the same …☹️
They complain about the c02 impact on one of the smallest producing companies, when the environmental impact from the process that goes into making the hybrid/electric crap in order to meet those ridiculous standards is worse than the c02 emissions of all the Italian supercar companies combined.
And on top of that, people are still gonna drive the old ones around, so... They'll still be on the road.
Politicians killed it. Not the environment!
The later Huracan versions are such a blast to drive and really are worth their money. Drove an Evo and it blew me away
Tecnica is even better
2:00 Jalpa production ended in 1988, not 2003.
Lol
VW. VW killed it.
How ???
climate change brainwashing killed it
Lamborghini is owned by the VWGroup.
@@aymanshaheen31 Dieselgate
Green whimps killed it.
lol mother nature is hardly crying bleak tears of acid rain because of the Lamborghini Huracan or cars like it.
I think he will lose quite afew viewers with those soft of ill informed remarks.
It's a joke if you couldn't tell @@kashifgul5110
It was killed by the same mentality that makes people want to drink cappuccinos on their drive.
Cupholders are a must yes, but for refillable water bottles.
Its extremely heart breaking seeing the end of the Huracan lineup
5:05, how did the LP580-2 inspire the LP610-4 when the LP610-4 is 2 years older? Also note to whoever said the Jalpa ended production in 1988 because that was another thing I spotted (2:03) And that the STO has 640 horsepower not 670 (14:14) did anyone check the script for this video? And does Rory not know the cars at all enough to spot any of this while reading.
So many awesome cars from the VAG group disappearing because of the impact on the environment, being replaced by soulless electric rubbish that have far more long term issues with polution many of which we probably don’t know yet what that impact will be.
Now how earth works but cool. And look into what electric does to earth when calculating data of production. Worse.
Thanks for gifting us with these visual and storytelling masterpieces!
R.I.P V10 LEGEND🥺😭😢
Add its twin, the R8 V10 Legend to that.
What an awesome video Rory, Huracan will be missed, :) You should make this kind of goodbye video for all the iconic cars we lost in 2023 and are going to lose in 2024, like Fiesta, Hyundai i20N, and i30N,.... keep up the great work
This is so sad. The Huracan is legendary! Especially the sterrato
What a wonderful and beautifully done video. Thank you and your production team for the insight. Bravo
Government and their environmental standards as well as the relentless march of technology
Is sad that we appreciate the things more when we no longer can have them...
Una delle, grande, grandissime di tutti tempi 🥺💔
I have been associated with Lamborghini since before Huracán was born. Watching it grow in front of my eyes in all its avatars, driving them all, delivering them and fulfilling dreams of so many, was and will always remain extremely special. Was that a tear from your eyes Rory? I sure have em myself last 30 secs through the b&w footage. Thank you very very much for this video.
Wait since when is sto 670? Wrong data. I thought it’s always 640hp….that v10 is pretty maxed out
I am going to miss the Huracan when it’s gone. Such a huge step from the Gallardo
Great video and for sure a very sad day for so many reasons but still decades of fun ahead for people who buy a Huracan and use it!!
Another great video 👍
What a video, the editing is insane!
Great vid, beautifully produced. 👍
My favorite CZcams Video in a Long time…for real!
Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica - the best and rarest Huracan of them all.
Combining the best bits of the EVO RWD and STO the Tecnica is the sweet spot for road driving.
Last of the V10 N/A proper supercar .
Guaranteed future classic
Love the 3-wide shot with the Sterrato on the grass around the 5min mark.
Very well put together
Amazing film. Well done.
Excellent video. The emotion and importance of this car came across beautifully.
Another great video, Mr Reid.
Wow, he actually cried for the tragic end of a production run - Legend!
Can you tell me where & what roads this was filmed on please?
Epic video matey ⚡
I think it's because of VW not willing to move with the times by not fitting a factory twin turbo to the V10 engine like the competition [Ferrari and Mclaren]
Took us through the birth, the life's journey and the end of life and crowned it with a beautiful eulogy. What a journalist, love your work and rendering.
Brilliant work.
Your videos are very dramatic and that camera is on point and you narrate you got it figured out:)
Someone ordered the same color as Shmee150?!
Maybe the same vehicle as he have sold it previously
It’s a press car.
Yeah,I was just thinking about that 😅
1 in 3 comments so far are bots, how come YT can't sort this out?
I've come to the conclusion they don't want to. So our job as (presumably) humans is to figure out how to make youtube want to. They're a business, all businesses have the same ethics.
They are letting bots to command & conquer people. It's that simple! Same with Facebook and Instagram.
@@shoveI I agree. More comments make it look like more interaction, so YT can sell more ad revenue based on a platform with higher interaction. YT has no incentive to get rid of the bots
How do you tell which comments are bot comments?
@@chrisfox7460 i don't know if we individually can, apart from the really obvious ones. At some point this may come to a legislative head, since bots are nearly free to operate and large language models make them difficult to distinguish from a human whose mother drank heavily during pregnancy. They're not harmless though.
the Murcilago was built on the cusp of the VW-Lamboghini takeover . The Muchilago and Gallardo were in fact built on two different parts of the assembly line with the former being the Lambo part (which is why it's regarded as the last of the true Lambborghini's) and the Gallaro on the Audi engineered assembly line. I've seen a Murchilago and it doesn't share interior parts from Audi unlike the Gallardo
Iirc the Diablo VT 6.0 was the first Lamborghini that was unveiled under VW ownership. Murcielago was built after the takeover.
Great video brother 🫶
Brilliant tribute to a brilliant car!! From CZcams’s best car reviewer by far!!
This felt like old top gear. Loved the video.
The STO have 640 metric hp, not 670.
580,610,640 is the three numer in all Huracan lifespan.
640hp and the same engine in Evo 4wd, Technica, Perfomante
Where are these roads please? Great video by the way
Lovely film Rory 👍
What a great review of a fantastic super car! 👌
Great job Rory and team!!
Fun Fact: the LP610-4 was the first model/trim then came the LP580-2… the writers didn’t do all there homework..
Thanks for the video. I think exactly the same. I had an Evo and it was awesome. I now have the Sterrato and it is the best car out there. I also think from the design they could still build them until 2030. RIP
That's cool seeing the older models at this point in the journey - the Gallardo in this case.
Didn't think I'd get emotional over the Hurracan but here we are 😢
Wow! I have never watched a car review get emotional! Beautiful story telling.
Huracan was/is a beauty!
Bad news:
The Huracán era is ending.
Good news:
Huracán STJ
"More Hardcore than the STO"
"Limited Edition"
- inside sources say...
Worse news: Only 10 STJs and they are just rebadged STOs
This is what I subscribed for!
EVO AWD was the best outcome of the full evolution
Such a beautiful design, still incredible after many yars!
I still remember the series Lamborghini did to reveal this car. 3 friends breaking into the Lamborghini factory after hours just to see and possibly drive the newest V10 powered beast from Lamborghini. That was marketing!!!
Those 2016 vlog CZcamsr’s killed it
the original 5.0 V10 had a diff firing order and sounded more F1 like
Commentary on this video is wreaking havoc.. engagement 🚀 🚀
Most folks that hate these cars due to environmental concerns are either jealous or hate anything that burns fossil fuel anyway. They would also be the first to complain if the lights went out due to the lack of power generation if the world suddenly only had green energy to rely upon
I don't think we give enough credit to my man's driving abilities. Very impressive 👊🏾 great video!
Rory is a true car guy he almost cried driving these , makes your heart happy the passion 🔥
Private jets ✅

Really cool. Things evolved. Can't wait to see when they go fully electric what they will come up with.
It’s so sad what the world has gotten to. I love the Huracan and I’ll miss it. I have driven the Evo AWD and I was so impressed by everything in it. To this day I feel the drive.
Nice watch!
This story lost me when you started talking about space and cup holders in a sports car
Yeah, also in American car shows, they don't get the point of supercars, Rory does though but still, who cares about things like cupholders when you have a V10?
What an awesome story and tribute to one of the best cars ever made...excellent work Rory and team 👌🎉💯
Chris Harris be TEARING UP this track in his videos!!! Awesome work with the Lambos Rory 💯
Please drop the whole environment thing, its naive to think these type of cars in their amount actually mean something in the bigger picture. I would suggest you look at your online shopping and other retail purchases first. Especially in the UK where there have to import everything..
Audio levels in this video are far too quiet. Had to increase my volume by 50% for it to match the volume of other videos.
I would be glad to see a review of ford raptor plizz
14:12 670 horsepower?
How you know that you are a petrolhead?
You shut the frameless car door by its handle 😊
Yeah, crack down on the expressive car industry when planes are by far the bigger issue to the atmosphere..
I would never make a Lamborghini like this.
No cup holders.
Seeing this and the Audi a that beautiful V10 finally go is really sad. I wonder how long before the GT3 variants go
Taking a moment to appreciate the Forza style transitions. Big up Rory & the crew.
Ex-'shmee STO.. 10:12
it’s not killed
Every new model was better than previous
I still believe that if we do the math, some cars (and also some trucks) must be out of scope for the ev transition.
