It is interesting how quickly a stay is issued regarding upholding anti gun laws but the legal system bankrupts (in time and money) those who foolishly try and overturn anti gun laws.
And Norr exactly they are unbelievable quick in over turning a pro gun law.
I was transferred to commiefornia for work in 2018 (in hindsight I should have just found another job) and you would be amazed on how much power the left has here and just how many moderates and conservatives there are, but are just beaten down and actually scared of reprisals by the left here.It's sad such a beautiful state is so messed up because of the delusions of one political party

He cant. At this point it was appealed to a higher court. Benitez is a District Court judge.

I regret buying from midway USA. They canceled my order that was made before the ruling because they didn’t ship it out before the ruling. My account was charged before the ruling. Other companies are honoring the purchase made before the ruling. Who’s side are they on. Last time I make business with them.

I didnt know that Kim was the one that started this lawsuit. Im actually going to her home range tomorrow to do some shooting(Oak Tree Gun Club). Every time Ive been there she has been there practicing on the same sporting clay field, Ive talked to her a few times, very nice lady and obviously an amazing shooter.

With the vast majority of FFLs shut down due to many CA mayors and the governor of CA declaring that gun shops are not "essential businesses", this new stay essentially leaves CA gun owners yet again unable to obtain and/or replenish their ammo. Absolutely unacceptable and tyrannical.

the premise that having to ship ammo to ship an ffl was deemed a violation of the second amendment is good grounds for arguing that the weapons themselves should not have to be shipped from an ffl because either part, the ammo or the gun, is useless without the other part.

The Supreme Court, have repeatedly held that the Due Process Clause of the 14th Amendment imposes no duty on the state to protect an individual from private violence.
They are impeding the process therefore infringing on our rights.
The state abuse of the “Bill of Rights” We should all sue under the Incorporation of the Bill of Rights!
The Bill of Rights have been held to be applicable to the state and local governments by incorporation.
The state is violating our federal rights!
Police have permission by the state to have the federally accepted ATF version of the AR-15.
While in Restrictive states we citizens get regulated with the “Infringed” version of the
AR-15.
The state disregards
“District of Columbia v. Heller“
“ McDonald v. City of Chicago”
The state is violating my federal right to an AR-15 within the ATF regulation.
They should be sued with the clause that removal from office of everyone involved in getting these unconstitutional bills passed would be considered justice.
I want to see another amendment that causes oath takers to loose their citizenship. Politicians and law enforcement are what it should be aimed at.

I’m hoping there’s a positive out of this - if this goes to a US Appellate Court, then the denial of the stay becomes a legal precedent nationwide. Therefore no state or local government can enact this silliness?
Interesting that the 9th circuit is open at 946pm est or 646pm pst.......I guess they are only still in session at that time to stomp on the bill of rights....

It continues to amaze me that the courts have pretty much throttled down to doing very little at this time. But when it comes to the California AG needing an immediate stay. The 9th circuit is open for immediate business. One of this countries largest problems with the so called justice system is the courts siding with the unconstitutional government. Trump needs four more years to continue his replacement of communists sitting on the 9th circuit bench.

this seems to be trend among tyrants .. issue an executive order to limit people's rights (or the ole midnight legal injunction order) to delay rebuttal .. it is akin to firing an employee at the close of business on Friday's .. they hope you'll cool down and forget about it .. and you won't be in a position to influence others, and nobody will notice you gone or be in a position to rally to your defense. When governments behave this way .. they don't want anything from you other than your compliance and taxes .. if they had any balls they would stand up on Monday mornings and issue their executive orders/injunctions and keep the door open for rebuttal, opinion, and dissent .. those are the hallmarks of true Republics that reflect the will of the citizens .. and it reflects transparency, fairness and respect for those governed.

But what does this mean for the judge's ruling? Does this stay mean Comiefornia gets it way again? Is this case going further up the court system? Or, is the judge's original ruling still in effect and Comiefornia's AG is just delaying for time?

Im from California and a veteran.Bad news is normal in this state,last year my friends and co-workers were excited about the freedom week where we all can purchase high capacity magazines. But this ruling did'nt even last 24 hours it's pretty F-ing sad.
When I heard about this, I was at the range, and I felt like I just got the air knocked out of me.

Judges should insist that any laws apparently restricting Constitutional liberties be prohibited from being enforced, by default. Let the Commies appeal if they want, but liberty should not be restricted on the basis of any interim appeal rulings. It should go all the way to SCOTUS before any Constitutional freedom could ever be limited.

The most certain way to push society to a collapse of social order is to abolish 2A by executive, legislative, or judicial decrees. The only repeal of our bill of rights that I will abide by is through a Constitutional Convention. Then other decisions will have to be considered and made.
Just start an underground route to Nevada, I'm sure they would be happy to sell you ammo, then for a very small gas fee redistribute it amongst your network, it's not illegal to give your friend a box of ammo and if your friend just happens to want to reimburse you well all the better.
