I haven't seen my father's side of the family in like 13 years. I uninvited myself and I am so glad I did! Toxic people are toxic people, it doesn't matter if they're family. Therapy is expensive, the fewer issues I have, the less sessions I need, the more money I save!

I love how Adrienne constantly speaks Spanish, you know, acknowledging her culture. I wish more people would do that because it also educates people and helps us be diverse.
I grew up watching Tia and Tam on Sister Sister.I had the biggest crush on those beautiful twins.They're still amazing.Nothing is the same without Tamera with her fun bubbly personality.I will be missing Tam once again.Lord bless that precious woman!

If there is a valid reason such as fearing they may harm you or other relatives. Then the talk shouldn't be tough. You let them know the reason and let them know if they want to come back again for the holidays they better show improvements which you will be the judge of. It's all about effective communication skills but don't take family for granted...true or correct?
