She doesn’t have to rebrand her company to reflect her ‘true self’, if she chooses to do that its her choice. Why should she forced to give up her company that she put her blood sweat and tears into when she’s probably already lost her dignity, many years of her life, and close relationships for being married to that man? Why should she let him take that from her too?

I get both sides the the point of a brand is making the NAME well known... it just won’t be the same . Did Papa Johns change their name when the literal FACE of the company was racist? No. It’s hard to build worth to your brand name and he doesn’t get to take it from her . She could do a really big marketing project/commercial thing where they destroy all designs made when he was still in the picture . Get rid of that inventory and renew in that way.

It’s interesting when we talk about rebranding, because there are other problematic brands. Hugo Boss used to design Nazi uniforms, and yet there’s been very little public outcry and his name is still attached to the fashion house to this day. To what extent should we really punish a person for her spouse’s actions? While I find it hard to believe that she had no awareness of what Harvey was doing, I imagine, as Tamera said, that she was also abused and turned a blind eye in a move of self-perseveration.

I wouldn't have given the woman a choice, I would have reported her to the police; and with her permission when she sat down that it would be recorded and posted to social media, if she doesn't pay; as well as it being turned over to the police and prosecuted. Cutting the braids out serves no purpose as she has already lost the money for the braids and time that she has spent. I would suggest that maybe changed the way services like this are paid for. Some jobs, you have put so much money down up front, and then pay so much for every so many braids (or maybe per hour until the job is finished).

I don't think it is fair to chastise a woman for her affiliation to a man. SHE IS HER OWN PERSON 🙄

I remember my nail artist, the first time I went to her, explaining how much more it was going to cost for the extra services and when she kept making sure I knew that it was going to cost more I asked and was surprised to find out that people walk out on her after getting their nails done 😳 extra work is extra money, basic knowledge people.
