Ok so the issue I have with the woman is that she set up an appointment KNOWING she most likely she wasn’t gonna be able to afford to pay for the style being done... she could’ve found a way to work around it and see if she can set up a payment in place for that appointment... now the issue I have with the hairdresser is her being very aggressive and very care free with the way she handled it on her own end... No. It’s hard to build worth to your brand name and he doesn’t get to take it from her . Changing the name might make her decrease in money and customers because the new name might not have a powerful impact or be popular or known it's like starting all over somebody who don't know your brand might not want to buy because they never heard of it
why do we have to be concerned about someone else's embarrassment and feeling when she sat in that chair knowing she did not have the money, that is theft. A lot of the salons, and hairdressers need to be more fun about the prices as well. I went to a salon a month ago and got partial highlights done and when I went six months ago it was $150 for the highlights and a haircut the hair dry hair wash etc. this time when I went back my girl is not available and they gave me a different girl I was charged $300, she did not cut my hair she did not put the glass in it she did not blow dry it I’ll she did was put a couple highlights in and actually it looks terrible and I hate it and I ended up paying $300 for 1/4 of the work I was expecting.

I wouldn't have given the woman a choice, I would have reported her to the police; and with her permission when she sat down that it would be recorded and posted to social media, if she doesn't pay; as well as it being turned over to the police and prosecuted. Cutting the braids out serves no purpose as she has already lost the money for the braids and time that she has spent. I would suggest that maybe changed the way services like this are paid for. Some jobs, you have put so much money down up front, and then pay so much for every so many braids (or maybe per hour until the job is finished).

Eventually, you did give two suggestions that were morally standing and empathetic(Payment plan + Don't complete the hair, I would add blacklist her). Tamera, you mimicked her accent in a condescending manner and that was not cool.
