David Wilkerson was the Founding Pastor of Times Square Church in New York City. He was called to New York in 1958 to minister to gang members and drug addicts, as told in the best-selling book, The Cross and the Switchblade.
In 1987, David Wilkerson returned to "the crossroads of the world" to establish Times Square Church. As a pastor of the church, he faithfully led this congregation, delivering powerful biblical messages that encourage righteous living and complete reliance on God.
David Wilkerson had a strong burden to encourage and strengthen pastors throughout the world. From 1999 to 2008, he traveled around the globe holding conferences for Christian ministers.

Have been so brought to the end of myself that I would only rely upon the Love of God and His Presence. I only turned to God, I cut off all people, and just spent time with God. Received again the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, after backsliding. I had grieved the Holy Spirit with my sin during backsliding. I was tormented, so I repented and renounced idolatry and placing idols ahead of God. These idols were people and an addiction to a psychoactive substance which led me into the demonic realms. Now, the Holy Spirit is with me again. He is empowering me and is showing my faulty thinking and filling me with the mind of Christ instead through reading the Word of God. It’s a wonderful miracle to walk again with the leading and guiding off the Holy Spirit. It took me cutting myself off from all humans and only relying on God. He is enough. He is all sufficient and guides me into all truth.. Praise God for the gift and announting of the Holy Spirit.
I am in tears reading your testimony. My very best friend is under the influence of a substance to help her with “pain” and “anxiety” and she has been changed. My brother is a long time marijuana user and is in the medical field hides his addiction by asking his kid to pee clean for him. My sis in law has decided to take a substance after a while of wierd behavior I knew it wasn’t of God. Then she did a 180 and a religious spirit has attached to her. She accuses me of listening to false prophets the very ones we enjoyed for over 10 yrs. she doesn’t appear to be high! But the Holy Spirit highlights her behavior to keep because it is very familiar to me as I was once an addict to speed. Oh please lift her up
For deliverance she is sick in her body worse now than when she first became sick 3 more organs affected after a year of taking this meds!!! I need her to be delivered oh Holy Spirit please convict her and help
Her get free!! She is a powerful prophetic dancer but now gave that up!! I’m fasting praying and by faith I will see her normal again! In Jesus name!!

I received The Holy Spirit while at Columbus Ohio Teen Challenge many Moons ago, I didn't understand the significance back then, but Praising God Almighty, Holy Spirit never left me and now when I do understand the significance of His Presence in my crazy past life, with the consequences, still needing to be worked through, I know enough to know He wants me to fully trust and depend on Him alone. Its not an easy path,. Not everyone in an alleged Spirit filled Church even Pastors, are truly Holy Spirit led and its like once they realise you have The Real Deal they just spew you right out of their circle. 🙏🥀 That's OK though, because Lord Jesus has been through all that and God too. I am encouraged and moved, too, that Pastor Wilkerson's Teaching here, has reached me and Praise God, how many others, alive and still very much seeking to reach God's lost Sheep and their Lambs, and helping us get back Home. It's so wild I sat up this early morning, asking God to speak to me about the horrible church experiences I've had over the past couple years, and I thought I was imagining it when after praying in the Spirit about it, I felt led to just stay put home for now, to stay away from the church Troubling my heart and to just stay close to Him. Ask discernment too because the devil has a counterfeit knowledge spirit that is unscriptural and will led you away if you do not love the truth.

Absolute truth. David Wilkerson , still speaking to us from Heaven. Never again Lord let me do anything without the Holy Spirit guiding me. I am in a difficult situation because I didn't fully understand the Holy Spirit actually lived in me. I thought He came and went. I should have known better but I thought He just came and went.
