- David Wilkerson uses the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the book of Daniel to illustrate how believers can bring Christ into their crises. These men made three commitments: to live undefiled lives in the midst of a wicked society, to be seekers of God through prayer, and to trust God completely, even if he chooses not to deliver them. When believers make these same commitments, Christ will come to them in their crises and walk with them through their trials.

" The Word of God sparks faith,but prayer inflames it".
That is a good word to inspire to pray.
I will admit,I was one of those not fully appreciative of the value of prayer. Until now.
But now- with all I am learning from teachings and experience - I can honestly say I have a new and very great respect for praying. Seeing the answers to prayers.
( I believe a great part of the reluctance to pray is the feeling of uncomfortableness one gets." What to say; am I doing it right etc". Esp if you hear someone else praying and the words seem to flow from them so effortlessly. I would be there like" how they even think of all these things"?😳😫. Smh)
Now,I am willing to pray-even if I still dont know what to say.😇
