My grandma is ninety two and has been listening to david wilkerson forever. Now I do, and my kids do. We love you, Jesus.
A few years ago I started listening to David Wilkerson and the Lord told me to listen to him only. Yes, I have a church I attend with a wonderful Pastor, but I'm talking online. There are so many voices online that it's spiritually dangerous to listen to so many of them. I have grown so much spiritually with the help of his sermons. I have been truly blessed. Thank you Jesus!
I wish I woulda grown up with him! My mom didn't know any better, so can't blame here. She got saved with zero guidance finding a Bible in the basement. Still with zero guidance and help, she ended up listening to TBN, and all I remember is a crazy makeup lady and a lot of prosperity gospel. A little bit of rebuking devils mixed in too. I had such a hard time understanding life & God. Life has sucked so bad, many days I just wish I was a brick. At least I'm learning now...
@@gohawks3571 Stay with David Wilkerson. He preached the truth of God's Word with an understanding that not many have had, and I believe that is because he drew near unto the heart of God. He was truly a holy man of God.
@gohawks3571 God is faithful and good. The devil comes to Still kill and destroy. Jesus come to bring life and life Abundantly. Anything that doesn't lead you to Christ will lead you away from him. God is good and glory to god.
A man who fears the Lord is the Jewel of any society.

I did a "be still" fast for a week....most difficult fast of my life. Sat for an hour.... just being still... not letting my mind run, stress and just was still. God spoke so much but honestly He had always been speaking....I was just not still enough to hear.

It really is hard to be still. I totally agree. Once I do stop and get still, is when I hear God speaking. Even though He was speaking all along just to all over the place to hear Him speak.
This must take discipline, but surely so worth it. You are right, God is`speaking, but we are too busy to hear Him speak. I will not only try, but pray the Holy Spirit to help me in this until it becomes my quiet time routine. Once one is less distracted, you will be able to truly listen and HEAR HIM... and the Scriptures will speak to my heart more clearly. Thank you dear sister in Christ❤🙌🛐

Yes I can My Husband had Cancer and from time of Diagnosis was given 2 Weeks to Live and We didn't stop Praying. Today 10 Years later He is Cancer free. I still Pray and Thank God. God bless
@evonchinnappen5717 praise Jesus christ!! I am a single mom of a 4 yr old that I got guardianship from a teenage mom when he was born.. I took her in when she was 6mths pregnant, in hopes that I would help walk beside her and train her up to be a single mom. I had already spent yrs doing that with 4 and even was able to homeschool them for 13 yrs.. all prayers answered. I have had him 4 1/2 yrs now and mom didn't want to be a mom, she continued to seek dating sites and put herself in harmful situations and still does. He has severe autism and is alot to train and guide. I never thought this would carry on so long but as time goes I see why the lord would have him with me vs her. I had a call after a mammogram and they found clusters and needed me to get a biopsy. I was scared and weak as I have no support, I have no work in the market place and things are very expensive and not going down. I tell you all this to ask if you would put me and my son in your prayers for a job that I can take him with me, and that his autism would have deliverance, he would be made whole with sound mind and self control. That my body would have energy and strength and hope to keep getting up. I need directions on our living situation also.. its alot but I know he is faithful and I can't wait to come back with a testimonial on how he helped us. Bless you, may God continue to refresh you and give you wisdom, strength, power, discernment, conviction, faith, love, hope, joy, sound mind, good heath and a deep hunger for him alone!!

Where do we get some of these things from,that we run with,truly believe,and get us nowhere? It's like your grandma said it,mama said it,and now you say it- and you don't even know why! Part of the problem sometimes of being locked into wrong teaching😨.

He was not protestant though. He was non- denominational.

The first time to hear David Wilkinson was in 1976 in Wichita, KS. This was during the July bicentennial. David was yielded to the Holy Spirit. One could sense the Holy Spirit at work at that time.

one who thought highly of David Wilkerson. Once she said that we didn't need to go back there if what she taught wasn't a confirma- tion of what God spoke to us in His Word thru'out the week. Her preaching was sobering to say the least.

@Shofargirl1 as a very young child the story of the children of Israel with the sea before them and the rocks on either side and the army behind them. No one taught about how to use Gods word as a powerful weapon back then. I only learned it at 60 years old. All those years I thought I was a Christian, and then the years I thought God had abandoned me I didn’t know of the true power of God. The Truth is Jesus.
I love pastor David Wilkersons messages and I've shared this message with my friends but do not agree with the voice thing. Discern the voices . My sheep know my voice and they follow me.

Trusting in God is definitely a must. We pray and ask God to help us deal with matters in our lives that may be overwhelming. I don't live with my daughters mother and my daughter lives with her, but we have always been with each other for years. Going here and there. Spending holidays together. Going to theme parks. Going out to eat. Birthday celebrations and so forth. After my daughter graduated from high school, the following week, her mother told me that now that my daughter has graduated, it is no longer necessary for me to be around any longer. Everything that we usually have done is over. My heart is extremely broken and I feel unbelievably empty. Even though we weren't together, I cared and loved them very much. I thought that maybe things would work out for us, but I was wrong. I'm praying and doing my best to trust on God for this moment in my life. Thank you all for listening.

Man, we as humans think every trial/tribulation comes from the devil, but this reminded me that the Holy Spirit led Jesus into the wilderness to be tested, this test that I am in is the worst thing I could ever imagine he showed me, me. This trial has shown me just how truly UGLY my heart is, not toward man but God when I didn't get my way. I thought I was holy, righteous and cute, but this trial showed me I am not as holy as I think, that I am unrighteous and ugly in the worst place, the heart.

May our Father in heaven minister to your heart right now and give you comfort and peace as World Challenge said, Christ is our righteousness, and he will sanctify you! God didn't reveal these things to you to leave you there, but say "Amen God! You're right! My heart is wicked but you can change this willing heart!" Praise God

The only way to discern the voice of God is with the word of God. Test the spirits and pastors to see if they are righteous or wolves in sheep's clothing... If you do not know the word of God, it's not written on your heart because you don't read it and apply it to your life. How could you know the voice of God? The more you grow with Jesus the better you will know the word and use it, the longer you walk with Jesus, the more you start to resemble Him in your life. It's a relationship. You first have to be born again. You can not do it on your own, you would read the Bible a week or two and then go slowly back to living as the world lives. With true repentance there is no backsliding or going back because the Holy Ghost of God will guide you and lead you every step of the way. There are no secret sins because God breaks every chain of sin but you have to be born again. Repent with a sincere heart and give your life to God through Jesus Christ by faith and trusting in Him to do it.

I honestly dont have a family and every effort ive made in my life to or for my family it has never worked. I have ptsd and abandonment issues. So when the Lord tests me, i find that i am already and broken. You abandoned me from day one. I didnt ask for this life. People who have families think they know what tests are because of hardship within their family. No you have no idea. So maybe this sermon is for those kind people and people like me dont matter. Shouldnt be any tests for people who truly have no one
God has not abandoned you ❤ He cares about all you are going through. He has been there and has had his hand upon you your whole life.He years to be your very best friend and the love of your life.Taste and see that the Lord is good, his word says.He is waiting for you with open arms.He loves you unconditionally and and he planned your life before you were ever born .He wants to give you a life that is worth living. I think its important to first establish did God make a promise for that specific situation. God does not give us everything in life we want eg a good job. We may have a bad job because of our own behavior or lose a job.
So what do you do if you have repented and have changed those ways and you are in a trial?
Firstly i believe most of our life is not God testing us with a trial. We get in arguments and problems in life because we are human. I 've see many Christina making bad decisions and taking bad conusel. @@Heseesyou

I'm not panicking I'm confining I'm asking of God for guidance but I also want why I wait for God's answer I also want other people in my life so I can get through this you're telling me that I cannot go to another person with my with my tragedies everybody needs another a person in their life in time of trouble God comes first but they also need people God's people well my friends I consider why am I explaining this I'll pray for you God bless you can you have a good day there is a lot of problems you don't demand of people to do it tomorrow or by next week it's all in God's time you just contradicted yourself you told me to wait upon God and not to go to friends now you're telling me to not wait upon God and do it this week or today or by next week should I wait for God to respond or should I go according to men while you are men right🙏 I pray that your spiritual life gets strengthened each and every day that you call upon him
I'm looking for others also. I want to be around a people that trust him and can hear me, pray with me and see if they can be of help to me as a single mom. My health is not good from the stress of this trial. I don't have a job and so much in crashing down. I know I'm being tested, I have been here many times before , glory to God he does deliver.. but it's in his timing. I need to deal with my fear. I need to flood my soul with this word over and over until I agree with it and I'm delivered from this grip of fear. I know how it feels to have others around, but I also know how it feels to have the wrong people around😢 may we not get desperate and make wrong choices in these trials.. may we surrender and really trust him.
