1. The Message Begins With A
Revelation Of God'S Grief Over
The Cause Of The Apostasy
Before the antichrist is revealed, there will be a mystery of Lawlessness already at work. The one who is coming will appear after a furious activity of apostasy. Satan and all the powers of darkness will be setting the stage - destroying the faith of many. Because sin will be more rampant, the love of many of God's people will grow very cold. There will be shipwrecked believers on all sides.
God's greatest concern is not what Christians are falling into - but what they are falling away from! Multitudes of Christians including pastors, deacons, ministry people of all kinds are losing their faith and confidence in the power of Jesus' name! They are turning away from Christ as the answer to everything. They are falling away from a childlike faith in Him alone as the solution to all life's problems. There is a wholesale turning toward methods, toward psychology, toward human expertise, toward the philosophies and doctrines of men.
All the prophet's foresaw this last great apostasy Isaiah was given a message from God that deals specifically with our day. He foretold what is happening right now; he warned about a last-day people who would "go back to Egypt" for help and who would reject the Lord as their source of supply.
God made sure there would be no mistaking who this prophecy was directed to. He told Isaiah: "Now go, write it before them on a tablet, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come forever and ever? (Isaiah 30:8). The literal translation is, "That it may be for future generations, for the latter days." The 30th chapter of Isaiah is God's message to this latter day church. How very accurate and true it is!

David Wilkerson was the Founding Pastor of Times Square Church in New York City. He was called to New York in 1958 to minister to gang members and drug addicts, as told in the best-selling book, The Cross and the Switchblade.
In 1987, David Wilkerson returned to "the crossroads of the world" to establish Times Square Church. As a pastor of the church, he faithfully led this congregation, delivering powerful biblical messages that encourage righteous living and complete reliance on God.

God delivered me from a same sex lifestyle. I lived in NYC when I was furthest from God, and worked literally 3 blocks down the street from this man’s church while he was still actively preaching there.
It’s so ironic, isn’t it? I would walk past it, and I remember thinking that based on appearance and location alone, it couldn’t possibly be a real church where the Holy Spirit resides-not in this hell hole where new age and charismatic lifestyle Christianity ran amok (if at all). There I was, judging the ministry of this great man of God without even knowing of him then, when really I was just projecting what I truly felt about myself-a vile person that took part every day in the same hell hole I was trying to condemn. So laughable, as if I was somehow above them all still, or not quite as sinful or bad.
Thank you, my glorious Lord and my Redeemer, Jesus Christ; he who did not forget me, and did not allow me to be left behind to rot in the gutters where I deserve to be. I am truly blessed beyond measure.

I still love hearing Pastor Wilkerson preaching! A man who did not sell out to the prosperity gospel but was so generous to others. A man who loved our heavenly Father,Jesus and Holy Spirit with all of his heart! A man not afraid to speak the truth of God's word!

I remember going to tent revivals and camp meetings with my grandparents when I was a little kid. We went to church 3 times a week but when there was a tent revival coming to town it was like thunder. The spirit of God was standing right next to you. I can still feel it. Thank you Jesus.

l am still listening to his messages. It is hard to find a true Christian, now days, that is totally sold out for Jesus.
Sometimes I despair that now that Wilkerson is gone, all that we have now are hipster preachers who preach a diluted gospel to keep bums in seats. I miss David very much, and I never even met him.
The Don so not lament for David has gone to be with the Lord. Nor rely on man. Our intercessor, teacher and savior is MUCH MORE than any man. David was just a man like you and I. I get you. I stopped listening to all whom I esteemed before because the more I grew in the Word and matured the more I saw the errors and at times flat out heresy some were teaching, well meaning perhaps. Wilkerson I have no issue with his word. But I direct you to rely on JESUS through His Holy Spirit and your one on one learning of the word. Also start or belong to a grounded group of men who study the word frequently and encourage one another in brotherly love. I started a group on my own 9 months ago as lead by the Lord. God bless.

JJ Remember being Lukewarm is a person who sits on the fence when it comes to doing either good or evil. Where evil brings fruit 🍇 of happiness and pleasure the person will seek after it. Not allowing the power of Holy Spirit to convict or condemn sin as evil. It is a choice by doing what God wants or will you serve the work of Satan. Because it was pleasant enough for us to deny God and what Jesus did for us to our lives. By smashing evil and sin and death 💀. Then seeking Good and Holiness because the circumstances and factors in our society sought that decision. Jesus wants us to live for him in good and bad, with all kinds of persecution and injustice. To speak for truth no matter the circumstances. Lukewarm means your being a hypocrite and cowardly.
Don’t expect to feel God’s presence if you don’t do your part. Fight the good fight, fight for the faith. Fight for Christ, you choose to not read the word, you choose to continue sinning. If you set your heart on what you want with The Lord, and He will help you. You have to be earnestly wanting to be holy in Jesus. You can’t fool God. If you feel not ready yet, then pray that He will help you to come to the end of yourself
Tia Sanderson first you need to except Christ as your saviour and he is lord over your life while he is on the cross. This is when you come to the place of knowledge the cross is the only way to deal with sin. Secondly you are washed and baptised in the blood spiritually and then the Holy Spirit will indwell you. Then it becomes a process where you’ll fight the flesh and the lusts thereof. It is a process of constant repentance until you come to the place where you cannot deal with sin in your flesh but with the power of Christ in dwelling within you, by the Holy Spirit.
The ministry of David Wilkerson has been what has kept me going for the last several years. Although faithful to church. active in 2 Bible studies and an avid reader of Christian books, only his ministry could reach to the deepest crevices of my spiritual needs. Praise God that He has sustained this powerful ministry which is now at our fingertips at any time. I will be looking for Pastor Wilkerson when I get to heaven someday because I want to thank him for being faithful in fulfilling God's purpose for his life.

He did not endorse denominationalism. He simply narrated the roots of the various churches. I agree with you that the body of Christ is not divided.

I've been following david wilkerson ever since he wrote with john & elizabeth sherrill, The Cross and the Switchblade, in 1962 published in '63. I read it around 1970. It really inspired me. I followed David's books & newsletters, etc. My mother & I couldn't wait to check our mailboxes to receive the newsletters.
He always addressed the most current depictions of our times. He was a great Evangelist and was truly led by the hand of God. His sermons and ministries will live in our hearts forever.

The Great Apostasy has greatly accelerated in just a short period of time. The first seal is already opened and 95% of Christians are clueless about all the heretical teachings going on. It makes me weep.
The 2nd part is right I believe but the 1st part isn't. This is definitely older then "2 years" (well it would be 3 now since your post)
Shoot.. the fact that in the last 6 years the sign in the heavens of a woman giving birth and a dragon, having 10 horns, ready to devour.. all being stars shining at their appointed time just as Jesus Christ said would come to pass in Revelation 12:1 , happened!!!
@@markdalley2729 I was in my own personal apostasy (reasons yes, excuses no) for about 10yrs. In spring 2017, surfing through CZcams, I saw "September 23/2017 Sign". At first I passed it by but it kept coming up, and being my birth date, I eventually clicked on it. God used that to draw me back, and through researching scripture and listening to others whom God had given knowledge to, He opened my eyes to the prophecies of scripture.
I had read through the main prophetical Books before, but I did not understand them. They appeared to me like mythical beasts and even though I highly valued the Bible as a book of prophecy, I could not gain any ground in comprehension of them; until this happened. God gave me the knowledge and understanding of these beasts and how they had been and were connected through world events of the past and present.
This was literally "proof of God" stuff. No 'man' could give prophecies like these with such incredible detail and time constrained for both duration and fulfillment, spanning hundreds even thousands of years - only God could give to man such things.
I could go on much more, but I just wanted to let you know how God used that sign to do a work in me just as David Wilkerson had prophecized God would do in the end days. Praise God

I am in a United Methodist Church now, and sadly there is no fire or passion for Christ. I am grieved about this.
Mary Latona - I left the 'Independent Fundamental Baptist Church' {IFBC} that I had been a member of for +/- 10 years - in large part for the same reason
- And I continue to be 'given more and more understandings' - and to realize that it was mostly a 3 times a week 'show' with emphasis on and about *'US FOUR and NO more'*
My wife and I had always been very active in various 'church programs' until she 'Went Home to Glory' and one of the most difficult things that I have ever done - (and I served 3+ years in VN) - was to go in and personally tell the pastor that I was leaving. But I do not think that he actually understands to this day why I left.
Fortunately - I was 'Providentially Led' to a small KJV preaching and believing Pentecostal congregation to worship with - Which I will not 'join' because of some of their Denominational beliefs. I told the Pastor why - and we are on very friendly terms - and I have been attending services there for nearly 4.5 years
- And I continue to be more and ever-more thankful that I did NOT 'Cross the Line-in-the-Sand' - BUT that I followed the leading of "the Holy Ghost" and left that 'IFBC' !
My Pastor is 70+ and he still has real 'old time' KJV Biblical Zeal for "our Lord Jesus and Saviour Jesus Christ" and for "the certainty of the words of truth" !
Please pray unto "the only wise God" - and ask HIM to "direct thy paths" - *which way HE wants you to go !* - Exactly as it is written in Proverbs 3:5-7 [AV] :
*Trust in the LORD with all thine heart;*
*and lean not unto thine own understanding.*
*In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.*
*Be not wise in thine own eyes:*
*fear the LORD,*
*and depart from evil.*

Mary Latona you don’t need any church you need Jesus. Moses was in the desert for 40 years before the Lord came upon him. The prophets all came upon the Lord alone, not by temple attendance. Can some come into the presence of the Lord through a church? Certainly. God is not limited by man. Nor is God confined to a building or denominations or man made religion. I pray you be encouraged sister and have since this comment found intimate relationship with the Lord dependent on no man or religion but only that you love Him with all your heart, mind, spirit and strength, come to Him frequently with a repentant heart and have been born of the Holy Spirit His new creation and a bride of Jesus Christ. The first Christian church was so different from all churches. So sad pastors and priests are preaching to be liked not the truth of God! I was married in a Methodist church but will not set foot in one today. If it weren't for the priest I have currently Id probably leave Catholic church forever. I don't follow RCCs praying to Mary or Saints. I've been thinking of just staying home....
I’m part of the fulfillment of this message. I was an apostate and God called me back, a prodigal daughter who is so grateful for Jesus’ love and He found me a 2nd time. Praise Jesus!!!

My problem is I can’t find a church that has the message or the anointing that this man has. They are big and has good music but the preaching is empty and no sense of closeness to God.
Joaquin Anguloyou don’t need any church you need Jesus. Moses was in the desert for 40 years before the Lord came upon him. The prophets all came upon the Lord alone, not by temple attendance. Can some come into the presence of the Lord through a church? Certainly. God is not limited by man. Nor is God confined to a building or denominations or man made religion. I pray you be encouraged and have since this comment found intimate relationship with the Lord dependent on no man or religion but only that you love Him with all your heart, mind, spirit and strength, come to Him frequently with a repentant heart and have been born of the Holy Spirit His new creation and a bride of Jesus Christ. a lot of us cant. thats why the scriptures say there will be an "invisible" church in the end times. We have been watching church online, its sometimes the only way to find a faithful church

Please pray for a church. The Lord will definitely open up a door for you to find a good church. Once you find it, sell your goose , and move to that church.

The Holy Spirit impressed upon me a verse from Colossians 3:2 "set your affection on things above") over and over again; and as I meditated on this verse, I learned this truth. I have the ability to "set" or change what I have an affection for" With the help of the Lord, we can be "transformed by the renewing of our mind" the battle you are fighting is in the mind. Success will come by employing the same tactic as God gave to Joshua 1:8+9. Solomon taught that when we commit our works to the Lord, He will establish our thoughts. ( Prov 16:3) I will pray for you. He was our modern day John the Baptist. The only preacher I trusted.
Im keeping this short. in 2002 I was baptized and recieved the Holy Ghost. All around me people were dying, loved ones. Relationships ended, family turned against me. I stayed faithful for several months. I felt HIS peace. Then sadly, The loneliness was overbearing and I have been backslidden, and in the wilderness for over 20 years. Today I have felt the Peace that HE can only give, for the first time in over 20 years. Now as a father myself, my home is broken. The mother of my children is with another, she lost her belief in me as a man. Over a year ago. However, I know that everything will be alright at the end because HE loves HIS children and HE never abandoned me. In the wilderness I humbled myself and swallowed my pride and called out to HIM woth sincerity.
The GREAT FALLING AWAY will NOT be about the people leaving the churches.....

Muslims are the second fastest growing false religion, then you have new-age christianity, all eastern religions are coming back to the surface, like Buddhism, Hinduism, but there are literally thousands of eastern religions.
Mysticism, Kabbalahism, witchcraft, and satanism are growing also. This is all part of the falling away/apostasy, that we see happening now today in our world.
