About David Wilkerson
David Wilkerson was the Founding Pastor of Times Square Church in New York City. He was called to New York in 1958 to minister to gang members and drug addicts, as told in the best-selling book, The Cross and the Switchblade.
In 1987, David Wilkerson returned to "the crossroads of the world" to establish Times Square Church. As a pastor of the church, he faithfully led this congregation, delivering powerful biblical messages that encourage righteous living and complete reliance on God.
David Wilkerson had a strong burden to encourage and strengthen pastors throughout the world. From 1999 to 2008, he traveled around the globe holding conferences for Christian ministers.

I met this man of God back in 1976, I was one of the wayward kids he spoke too. He influenced me greatly and I found Christ through him.

Praise God, I also came to know David Wilkerson back in 1976 also. I read the book "The Vision" by David Wilkerson 4 times over so as to never forget it! Life has been an amazing Journey! Yes Jesus will make His Power known to you!
He prayed for me at a church service, in the late 70s or 80's. He was a highly honorable man. I worked for Teen Challenge Ministries which he started. It was a great ministry in helping woman overcome drug addiction!
He was a man who lived his life as he preached it, no hypocrisy! God bless his family in Jesus' name!

I am viewing this on November 8, 2020. He mentioned Y2K, so this was recorded probably in 1999. It appears that God showed him the Chaos of cities burning and being looted in 2020 and the financial collapse in 2008. This has moved me to want to prepare my heart for the coming of the Lord Jesus, which is the best preparation anyone can make.

Iâm so overwhelmed by everything thatâs going on in this world especially in America, and coronavirus! Sometimes when I get ready to pray my heart feels so heavy that the words I need to say in prayer donât come out.. but tears fall from my face and I weep. I believe God hears what I want to say through my tears.

Dear Lisa, I feel your pain. My heart has been so heavy for several months now. I feel something horrible is coming, tribulations, we wonât be carried out before tribulations, we donât leave until the last trump, the trump is a loud voice. Listen to Jim brown truth and Grace ministries on utube, you may get some peace of mind, I do if only for the time I study with him, you will learn so much. Please try him, he comes off harsh, but give him at least 3 or 4 teachings, you might come to love him as your teacher, he loves the children of God, he is a man ordained by God. I just love this Pastor. His burden from God was so very heavy. To have a message like this, from God, for most of your life is a honorable task. I donât think that he realized that more people would seek His messages out after He passed, than in His life. God needed to get the word out!! Pastors these days DO NOT PREACH this. Sometimes as I grow older, it is tempting to "rest on my laurels" and rely on what I did in the past to carry me through to the present and future. It is tempting to get lazy and almost "leave my first love." I guess I need prayer for this!!! Jesus Christ has been faithful to me!!! I have been saved for 53 years. I know this is an old sermon but I know we are closer to the coming of our savior. Oh how I pray to be ready. I just can't wait to see the face of Jesus. To see the love for us in his eyes.

Which means you are having an intimate meating with God when you read His word. Finally read the word with forgiveness in your heart and apply yourself to the scripture you read. When we read we must not read it like a book. But with an open heart, sitting with God, for Him to bring revelation to us through His word. When you do this it is in your heart..... not your mind. Keep reading on a daily basis and read the Bible over and over again. Thereâs times I read something and think..... I never remember reading this, as well. But thatâs ok. When we read His word with Him and not as we read every other book....... when we need His word He will bring it to our remembrance. I hope this helps and gives you some encouragement.

Keep looking to God by prayer. I read that David Wilkerson died in 2011. If this is correct then how prophetic is this message. When fear strikes speak the word of God over it. God fed thousands with five loaves and two fish's. He will take care of His people now and in the future. I know because he has taken care of me for 68 years.
God kept and fed the Hebrews 40 years in the wilderness. This message was given 21 years ago, before 9/11. On 9/11 as you know the stock market crashed. Our Lord has been giving us warning signs as the times of great trouble and persecution comes upon us. As Pastor Wilkerson told us our only hope is in the Lord, trust in Him alone.

2020 has been such a blessing to me. I'm an intercessor and when I was working, I would wake up early to pray for a couple of hours before preparing for the day; this would sometimes be stressful as there was so much I wanted to cover in prayer. Now with all the lockdowns and quarantines, I've been praying 4-6 hours per day, plus time in His word, and it looks like He's having me retire early now so that this can continue. He's shown me through past difficulties that He is able to "wring every possible bit of good" from the hardships we're enduring. May you see His blessings for YOU during this time of upheavals and rejoice in the faithfulness of our glorious, wise, and loving Creator, Savior, and Lord.

I'm so hungry for God's word every day. Can't stop reading his word. Read for hrs every day. In the a.m and pm. This yr. I strtd bible journaling (study bible ) its such a blessing. I keep on praying for the Lord to show Him to me. To help me know when He speaks to me. And nothing. Yes, at times the words in the bible do pop out to me. And it's like WOW. But I don't hear nothing within me. I talk to Him when I walk my dog I invite Him to go with us I just talk n talk. I feel people say, look at the lady speaking to herself. And still nothing. I'm praying for spiritual grow I don't even know what that means actually. I ask for discernment . This video was a blessing to me. Hearing about all the things that are coming on the world really started to shake me up, especially since I can't afford to stockpile any supplies. Pastor Wilkerson restored my peace of mind saying the only thing we need to do to prepare for hard times is to prepare our hearts by reading the word and staying in prayer and being covered by the blood of the Lord. I try to live a life pleading to God, I will continue to do so, I will concentrate on trying to bring people to God and continue to work on my faith and trust issues concerning the Lord. Even though Pastor Wilkerson is no longer with us it is amazing how his sermons are still changing lives and touching spirits. I am grateful he spoke to me through this video reminding me just how great our God really is.

He saw on the news a gang of young boy's heading for jail and The Holy Spirit moved him to drive with barely enough $ to buy gasoline but went to NY to go to the courthouse where the boys would be going before a judge; theres a famous picture of him floating around holding a bible in front of the courthouse that's basically how his ministry started in NY. Yes he was pastoring a small church in PA. Nicky Cruz was one of the boys in this particular gang. The movie & ofcourse the paperback book came from ' the sword and switchblade ' - he & his brother Don began ' Teen Challenge ' together and ofcourse is one of the largest ministries in the world that help drug addiction & other huge sins. Don Wilkerson is in Brooklyn NY and still remains in ministry. You can Google the both of them.
I've recently been studying under John Charles Ryle. 1st Anglican bishop of Liverpool. He lived from 1816-1900. You may want to Google his sermon ' Counterfeit Christianity ' J.C.Ryle - it will bless you!

I was saved after watching the movie " The Cross and the Switchblade" about David Wilkerson's testimony when l was 8 or 9 years old and there was an altar call afterwards-you sure don't see that anymore!
Prepare your home for those left behind with Bibles, Biblical teachings by men such as David Wilkerson, and Derek Prince. Leave letters or journals along with some non perishable food, medical kits, water filtration kits, survival books. I feel God has called me to prepare for those left behind. Ask The Holy Spirit for guidance. Pray for the lost especially family members as the time of Jesus's Return draws near.
yes , I love these men of God with a passion for the Lord and true servants, Derek Prince was not ashamed to weep, he had great compassion for the orphan and the widow. These men have been my heroes and mentors . I am 86 and shunned because I am "radical" that is from the "church" but I have Jesus and will not bow to the gods of this world, money, entertainment. running with the religeous crowd. I go out with my Pastor and his wife, from South Korea, missionaries. we go out on the city streets, sworn at f word etc, same as Jesus encountered, but will never back off

I canceled my TV ( no tv or commercials ). I also deleted my social media's like FB. I am Free!!! I cannot share how freeing it was, I had become a slave to the device's, automatically looking at my phone with every alarm and bell. I just wake up feeling gratitude for all my blessings the lord gave to me. I no longer carry a phone around and its wonderful although the world feels under a spell. Family's sit at dinner tables all looking at those little screens instead of each other. :(

Wow! I have been listening to Brother Wilkerson since I was saved in 1983. So encouraging to hear one of his powerful reminders again. I believe the Lord showed me I would face these times then and everyday it drawers nearer. Through the years I have backslidden but God has been faithful and kept me from being deceived. I have been prepping for about a year now. Nothing extravagant but an extra couple of cans of food when I shop. And sleeping bags and a first aid kit.
Suddenly this year(2022) very early Spring, I just looked around my prepping boxes and had an overwhelming feeling to stop and not worry.
I donât prep anymore. Iâve left everything as is, no more purchases. As a matter of fact, I started cleaning up my extras and gave lots away. I feel better now not having any calculating, and buying, worrying, ordering, counting, turning over, inspecting, storing and keeping logs of all this stuff.
What we have is what we will use to get by and also help our neighbors if they need it.
The rest is not my worry.
God made it clear He has it under control, so I walk in Faith.

Holy Spirit-filled teaching is timeless. There's a pastor whom I listen to who has a bunch of sermons online. I listened one of the ones from 2012 and it was still applicable 12 years later. Take it as you will but still, apply these lessons well.
David Wilkerson is the man I believe in his prophetic teachings apart from a few others. I like him he never claims his is a prophet like many others he says he is a watchmen. Many are prophesying on trump which is not important and does not bring any glory they should speak on the word of God which
We have to face in this evil world and not politics. We are all blinded by this prophecies which does not bring glory to our Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible is speaking to us. Many false teachings are around and deceiving the world.

I truly believe many of the prophets about president Trump, not that he is a godly man and going to save this nation! That will never happen, but what he is, is a man who is holding back the evil agenda that is approaching us. He is not doing it from a godly prospective I donât think he even knows it. He is doing it out of love for this nation. I believe the only reason God put him in that position was for our sakes, because the church isnât ready for what is coming. During this hard several years our eyes are being opened some not yet, but they will awaken. The church needed a grace period to repent and seek Gods face that has only came through the Shaken, but this church we are apart of is not ready for the persecution that is coming, this is our time to take warning and make ourselves ready as the scripture tells us to do. Itâs nothing to do with politics for governments canât save us, but governments and false religious powers being lead by satan himself will be what brings our persecution to us.
