GOD’S GRIEF OVER HIS PEOPLE by David Wilkerson
The final outcome of the church of Jesus Christ is glorious victory. In the end, the gates of hell shall never prevail against the true church, which is the invisible body of Jesus Christ on earth.
It is supposed to be a glorious church, without a spot or wrinkle, washed and secured by the blood of the Lamb. But anyone with spiritual discernment can readily see that the church of Jesus Christ at this present time is not victorious over sin or the enemy. The sad and pitiful condition of many believers is a great grief to our Lord.
Satan is trampling over multitudes of God’s people almost at will. The lives of millions of believers are in total disarray. Our ministry receives thousands of letter’s weekly from Christians all over the world. What my wife and I read is heartbreaking, and our workers weep with us as we read the pitiful prayer requests from multitudes of despairing Christians who are at the end of their rope. So many homes and lives seem to be totally out of control, with some wanting to escape by suicide.
In one week we will hear from hundreds of Christian wives whose husbands have left or are in the process of leaving them. Many of these husbands were once on fire for God, but now they drink, they fool around with other women, and they are totally deceived by Satan. There are Christian wives who hate to wake up in the morning, and they go to bed each night crying themselves to sleep.
Children are rebelling and backsliding. There is chaos and confusion in too many Christian homes. We even hear from ministers whose wives are leaving them. There are so many once radiant Christians turning their backs on the Lord, and the backsliding is widespread and getting worse. Because iniquity abounds, the love of many waxes cold.
We detect from so many Christians a sense of helplessness and despair. Many are giving up hope, and there is no joy or victory anywhere in their lives. They seem so defeated, cast down, defenseless, trodden down, wearied, and troubled. From the way many talk, the walls and gates are broken down, and Satan is having a field day without a challenge.
We read these thousands of heartbreaking requests, and we are driven to our knees to cry out, “Oh, God - what is happening to your beloved people? How can the enemy walk over them and hurt them with such fury? Why are so many held captive by fear and turmoil? Why such havoc among Your dear children? Why aren’t God’s people rising up with holy indignation and crying out, “Enough!?”My Grief Only Reflects God’s Greater Grief Over the Pitiful Conditions in the Lives and Homes of the Lord’s People - Because It Need Not Be So!
God does grieve over His people. He grieved for forty years over His people Israel because of the trouble and sorrow they brought upon themselves through unbelief. “But with whom was he grieved forty years? Was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcasses fell in the wilderness?” (Hebrews 3:17).

Love the passion in this man of God. He rests with The Lord, but his message carries on. A world at its worst NEEDS THE CHURCH AT ITS BEST!

I feel grief over how many people are perishing. People I know, who choose the world instead of eternity. How much more must HE feel it, considering they are HIS creation?
All I can do with this grief is read Revelation when HE creates a new heaven and earth and makes all things new. And wipes away all our tears. And there will be no more sorrow, no more pain, no more death..🙏😪

I always used to pray the HE give me the heart of YESHUA/JESUS. Now I don't know if that was a prayer I should have asked for because my heart breaks every day for those who are perishing. Just as HE wept over Jerusalem.🙏😢

It's so hard to hear messages like this. Because my understanding of Christianity as a young man was mixed up with false teaching. A variant of the so called word of faith teaching. And although my eyes have been opened hearing a message like this makes me realise my beliefs are still corrupted by an admixture contaminated by the doctrines of demons which it was warned would arise in the last days.
I hear you twice.
I so understand what you are saying. There are so many false teachers these days, and do many being deceived and we are warned it will get worse! Where are the true Holy Spirit men of God? The preaching now mostly is the health and wealth ....not the Word of God

duncant63, Many Christians have been infected by all sorts of wrong teaching, damaging our ability to know and love God as He truly is. But God is faithful, He knows how to correct the shortcomings of sinful man, and restore a right relationship to Himself. If we seek Him, we will find Him. The Bible is our one reliable guide..."For the Word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword..." Take heart. Be encouraged.
Count yourself Blessed that Yahweh has lead you to messages like this. Praise him for his mercy. When you come to really know that Christ is not just your Lord and Saviour - he is your KING. Then you will never want to offend or stray from your King. God Bless you.
This is common. It is great when false teaching is identified and we are freed from it.

I have been broken heart and sick and don't want to get out of bed because I have felt so much grief and people want me to compromise and I pray lord jesus christ send holy spirit help me find my voice in these last days, lawyer's, and family members and the fear of court authority and the evil things they have done to me and my son Timothy eric bell, they want me to just go along with them and take the blame for what they done with my mute child they stolen him away, 21 months, it's horrible and group home might of killed him, or hurt him badly. I don't know cause they locked me up in jail when I tried to find him or visit him. But I can't stand the corruption in government money grubbing people who took my son for the greedy a .p.s. and b.d.d.s. and police who all have plotted the kidnapping of a innocent young man who is mute autistic son Timothy who can't speak say let me go home to my parents who love me. But I know he wants to come back home but they have kept him captive. And I feel like it is almost impossible and to late, but I have to find him and truth what has happened. Pray all truths come to light in the power of God the father, son of God and his holy spirit, thanks be to lord jesus christ victory over sins and I hearken unto holy spirit from now on solemn protest. In jesus christ our lords will be done, amen. Pray for dear Timothy to have justice in jesus christ name amen. Thanks for this message and your prayers God will help us. That will decide my fate...please pray i dont loose my leg i just lost my younger brother he was only 46. iam 49 this week and had to move in with my 77 year old father in a tiny apt/! Even the strongest churches are being corrupted by Bethel and the prosperity gospel. I pray they stop compromising.
The strongest Church is the Lord's who have gone out of the camp to worship Him and Know Him. The ones you're thinking of have just left Jesus and despise His Cross, desired a king (Trump) and rejected God over them. Their gods are their bellies and desires, full of adultery and idolatry, sensuous and reprobate.
@@danielslagle6440 Looking to any politician or leader in the place of Jesus is idolatry. Politicians will not fix our problems, we must have deep, widespread national repentance and revival. People must know God and obey Him fully.
What I meant in my original comment is that churches that take an uncompromising stance on scripture, have the presence of God and preach repentance should cut any ties with Bethel or similar movements.
@@Nigel.123 Oh, got it. Had a fire going when I read that. So we're on the same page. I'll add though that this nation or those who should and know to, are not going to repent. Understand that I pray daily and have been shown for decades of this day, even, this year as a change.
The prophets and watchmen were rejected by and large, and even many of the hundreds who give accolades to David Wilkerson, have hardly done what he exhorts.
My heart is crying all day for what I see and see coming. I've prayed until the Lord has said "Enough!" concerning the wickedness and heresy and idolatry and adultery.
I am forcing myself to write this because I'm so sick in my stomach for what's coming. All I want to do is weep before God and repent for all the sins against Him! And the children! They're innocent!
It's not turning back though, not this time. The Judgement is here and the worse of it is nearer than any are saying.
