About David Wilkerson
David Wilkerson was the Founding Pastor of Times Square Church in New York City. He was called to New York in 1958 to minister to gang members and drug addicts, as told in the best-selling book, The Cross and the Switchblade.
In 1987, David Wilkerson returned to "the crossroads of the world" to establish Times Square Church. As a pastor of the church, he faithfully led this congregation, delivering powerful biblical messages that encourage righteous living and complete reliance on God.
David Wilkerson had a strong burden to encourage and strengthen pastors throughout the world. From 1999 to 2008, he traveled around the globe holding conferences for Christian ministers.

don't look onto king Saul, don't look onto Moses. understand that they are the vessel. without Christ in them, they'd be worse than you and I. God does this for His glory. He will use the smallest out of the group, he uses the unlearned.. and all to show how Great He is. call out to God. repent for being so near sighted in seeing the creation and not the creator. David Wilkerson would probably cringe in anguish if he knew of everytime people held him as a Moses. it would indicate that yall learned nothing.
I am so glad, I was able to find PASTOR , David Wilkinson. As a child, my father listen to him all the time. I am now sixty years of age. You would think he is still here. Amen January 28th 2015 I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior by faith. My pastor said to me you are a very intelligent individual but your not on the field cause back then my world revolved around the green bay packers. So my response to Pastor Sam was, How do I get on the field? He said to me down at a local coffie shop called MUGS He said say this prayer either out loud or in your head either was God hears you. So I thought for 30 seconds then I said I will pray with you. Now to my point it wasn't 2 weeks later I heard Pastor Wilkerson just by happenstance He speaks to my soul like no other pastor back when I accepted Jesus I was 30 now on 2/19/19 I will be 35 I honestly pray to Jesus every second of every day. But yes David Wilkerson is like a mentor to me he speaks like how I want to be a pastor some day but if it's in God's will I pray I preach with conviction like Pastor Wilkerson. I thank you so very much for reading my short testimony there is so much more to my story but I do thank you. Preacher David Wilkerson is the one that brought me back to believe in the name of Jesus again, all my prayers ended in just amen comma no Jesus at the end for two years because I had such a struggle with understanding why we pray in the name of Jesus, until one day I discovered David Wilkerson after I'd given up on all preachers and all churches not trusting in them. And when I saw him four years ago, I cried and prayed in the name of Jesus, and prayed in tongues again period and ever since that day all has been great. Thank you David and thank you Jesus

😭😭😭How fitting during the coronavirus season we are going through, globally. Even though this unique season has found me seeking Abba Father more, praying, praising and spending time more in The Word, I'm also so very thankful for The Holy Spirit's leading to David Wilkerson's sermons, which I have been devouring for a couple of months now. He truly was a prophet of God even though he insists that he wasn't. I've been so blessed I'm dreaming about visiting New York to attend a couple of services once the travel ban lifts🙏🏿❤️

I came to repentance of sin through God's faithfulness through David Wilkerson. But I always have concerns about some of his prophecies which we have not yet seen to pass. For instance this economic holocaust he references. Or his urgent book Set the Trumpet to Thy Lips from the mid-80s where he says the US is about to be destroyed.

He will save the economy and morale, but it will only be 3 and a half years, then he will reveal his true nature and demand worship. Faith... Living by faith? First I am truly comforted by the chastening f my father. The revelations of truth shown to me about me. So that I can apply my will, allow God’s will to bring me away from the weakness of flesh. My knowledge in the Lord comes from revelations of His Living word. Faith is turning away from traditional methods of s socially structured society of me-new I want Therefore it is mine lifestyles. Humility to God’s way and not man’s ways. Faith is not expecting a new truck or house but asking and receiving the revealed word as well as the tribulations which work towards greater faith. My Gold, is the knowledge in the Lord God. I can only submit myself and ask for daily fulfillment of the living word to fuel me. All Glory to God.
