Rebellion Is As the Sin of Witchcraft
#Scripture (1 Samuel 15:23).
When the Lord showed me the kind of witchcraft present in the church today, it shook my soul. It is revealed in 1 Samuel 15:22-23: "Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry."
The Bible describes here a witchcraft far more dangerous than the occult. It controls more pastors and congregations than any other kind of demonic influence. It is rebellion against the Word of God!
Dont be quick to sit back and relax, thinking, "Thank God, that cant possibly mean me. Im not rebellious against Gods Word. I love the Word. Im walking in obedience!"
Thats what I thought, too. But then God convicted me of the dangers of falling under the spell of this witchcraft! He showed me the seed of its beginnings -- exactly what erupted in the Garden of Eden! We all have the seed of this sin. In fact, you may unknowingly be under the influence of this evil charm.
Jesus gives us a parable that exposes this witchcraft! Ive read the parable of the evil husbandmen many times. Ive prayed over it. But not until now have I seen in it the witchcraft that Jesus was exposing.
There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country: And when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it. And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another. Again, he sent other servants more that the first: and they did unto them likewise. But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son.
"But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance. And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him. When the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen? They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons" (Matthew 21: 33-41)
This parable is more than a retelling of how the Jews rejected Gods appeal from heaven -- and how they would be cast aside and the Gentiles made the husbandmen. It is also about a great supernatural battle over an inheritance. Its about a battle between the power of Jesus Christ and the power of Satan for the souls and allegiance of mankind! Its about who is going to rule and reign in the hearts of Gods chosen! And beloved, youre either under the power of Jesus Christ or under the influence of Satan!
You see, this parable is about how a people of God can become bewitched by the devil and end up totally possessed by an anti-Christ spirit. Christ was talking here of a most powerful form of witchcraft -- rebellion against the truth!
Here is the Key to this parable: "This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance" (verse 38). That is the devil speaking! "Let us create rebellion against the Son! Let us crucify Him! We will take control!"
It is true that when the Pharisees heard this parable, "they perceived that he spake of them" (verse 45). But Jesus is also speaking to His church! In Hebrews 6:5, we find a people who "have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come...." They have rebelled against that good Word they heard, and as a result, "they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame" (verse 6).
Who is crucifying Christ over and over again, putting Him to open shame before the whole world? Are they witches? Satanists? Homosexuals? Murderers? No!
They are those who heard, tasted and partook of the true Word of God -- and then allowed a spirit of rebellion to take root! Satan moved in, and they ended up possessed -- crucifying Christ!
Believer, I tell you on the authority of Gods Word that as long as you have this spirit of rebellion in you, it is impossible for God to revive or renew you! "For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost...if they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance" (verse 4,6).
I believe this means that repentance has no effect whatsoever in those who are in rebellion against the Word!
Lets look more closely at this form of witchcraft in the church.

There are so many falling angels, we have to be able to discern them. I have prayed for wisdom,knowledge and Revelation for God to open my eyes...to see the wicked, the wolves in sheep's clothing. We are not fighting the flesh but the principalities, powers,rulers,of the darkness and spiritual wickedness. There is the Python spirit, the Jezebel spirit, Absolan spirit, Leviathan spirit, that causes confusion, the Vagabond spirit... these are what we are fighting, the Python spirit trys to suck the anointing out of us. Every good gig that God has for us, the enemy wants to Rob us from our Joy, if he can't steel our blessing he will take our joy,if he can't take our position he will be glad to take our power. The enemy dies not have the power or unlimited that God has, his time is short. We have the power in Jesus Christ to knock satan to the ground. Roman's 16:20 God will soon crush the serpent-satan under your feet. We have the authority to slay the giants.. "spirit warfare "
This used to be me. I had unforgiveness in my heart for a family member. And in about a year of reading the Bible praying in tongues and fasting. I was on my knees praying and The Holy Spirit spoke to my heart and said okay now forgive . And I thought about it for a few seconds. And said okay I forgive her. And when I forgave that person in my family, it's like a ton of bricks was lifted off my back. And I felt happy and free.
And I started back going to visit that family member. And even though they never apologize or have any remorse. I have to love them were they are. because some people will never change but I praise God that he changed me. Hallelujah 🙌

A true anointed man of God. Thanks to those who post his teachings.
David Wilkerson was the best. Never will there be another like him. He was humble. He followed God's instructions to him to a tee. He lived the humblest of lives. He preached without apology. He did not put sugar on the gospel.He didn't put up with nonsense preachers. He didn't care if he had a friend in the world. He preached the Word as God laid it upon his heart.
God gave Wilkerson The Vision to relay to his people. He did as God said and suffered ridicule from people and many ministers. Many of those visions have come to pass already. Wilkerson has gone home to meet his maker. And we who remain will see the rest of those visions and prophecies come to pass very soon.
Praise God that young preacher obeyed when God sent him to the streets of New York City to minister to the hardest of gang members and drug addicts. He slept in his car at night. He had knives held to his throat. He went into the underbelly of the city where the gang leaders stayed. Bold and without shame he carried Gods love and the Gospel to societies rejects, criminals and murders.
The ministry to addicts spread across the country. The Time Square Church in a movie theater is still in existence and thriving today under the leadership of Nickey Cruise, Wilkerson's first convert and the biggest gang leader from that day. When God speaks we need to obey. If Wilkerson had not obeyed, thousands of souls would have gone to Hell.

I listened to sevaral of his messages today and the all pricked my heart.
I struggle with unforgiveness for many that have hurt me, but I love the Lord and I want to be free to please him and to be free from rebellion against his Word.

Pray for me please I had serious root of bitterness in my soul ,because I was so angry miserable because adult protective services took my mute autistic son Timothy away from me court gave group home greed filled people custody of my son Timothy who has not been seen by any one no family members allowed see him again I tried but they put me in jail fake charges. And I really hated these people who did this separation of me from my son who I will always love him jesus christ loves him to. But it's a bitter thing to never be allowed to see your son again. 29 years together we were so happy before the busy bodies destroyed our lives. But I don't want to be rebellious and unforgiving because I want God to forgive me also. What they done to my son it's not right it is wrong. But I can only say lord jesus christ forgive them for they no not what they done. Holy spirit please put your grace into my heart give me your forgiveness for them. When I don't have it in me to forgive give me yours lord jesus christ and holy spirit amen. Things that seem wrong that are done in this world only can give it all to jesus christ our savior and he heals the broken hearted and binds up there wounds psalm 147,3. This is exactly what I need to hear this sermon, because God is speaking to me, not to be bitter and hard hearted but to let God in the love and light of God and God is are strength. Jesus christ please forgive me for all things I lost everything when I lost my son. But I repent clean my heart jesus christ love and peace and healing my heart. The holy spirit has comforts me very much so. And when you have nothing left in this world jesus is all I have, but jesus christ love is so great he jesus christ is all I need. Nothing shall separate us from the love of God in jesus christ name amen. King David prayer and mine give me a clean heart oh lord God and renew a right spirit within me. Thanks be to God the father and son of God and his holy spirit amen. Well pray for me not hard hearted but that a broken vessel will let more light shine forth.
Amen, forgiving others is very important. It may help to actively live out this forgiveness by praying for these people, blessing them in the name of Jesus and doing good to them if you have the opportunity as Jesus said we are to love our enemies in Luke 6:27-28. Forgiveness is a decision, not a feeling, and can require action. But I'm praying for you, dear sister!

Human Rebellousness originated with Adam and Eve. So we all have to deal with this source of Rebellion in our nature. As he is saying the Spirit of Rebellion is against the Holy Spirit.

That is a fact. They have ears that cannot hear or eyes that cannot see. Not even see that they are guilty of this bondage. They are perfect and everybody else wrong especially towards their parents.
when i try to share these it wont go thru /// so many including me need these sermons . today i was convicted of having little faith . i repent right now and ask forgiveness . help thou our unbelief and little faith .
I find myself very discouraged these days. It seems like mission impossible to get into heaven from all that I hear. Is mercy from God really this hard to receive? From the my understand 96 per cent of humanity is destined to the lake of fire. It seems so unfair that we live in such a hard world, and we try to be good but it will not be enough. Our Lord Jesus set the bar really high, trying to be Christ like in this day and age is no easy challenge.

I was in the same place as you Murk however I also realised before going out there in the world I need to mend my heart. A different perspective was laid out on me by The Holy Spirit when I accepted my ugly sins and repented off it all earnestly and God is faithful when I accepted Him as my saviour and Lord.
I understand brother there's a shadow of confusion in your mind, start off by learning how to keep our ears open to God's true voice and His revelations in your life, Praise God 😊
