Actually Lublin is the biggest city in Eastern Poland with population of 336,339. Also is the ninth-largest city in Poland and the second-largest city of historical Lesser Poland.
But in times of population, Warsaw, Krakow , Lodz and Wroclaw should be consider as big city for any foreigners coming to Poland will likely settle in a big city which you can't suggest Lublin as one .
Właściwie Lublin jest największym miastem we wschodniej Polsce z populacją 336 339 osób. Jest także dziewiątym co do wielkości miastem w Polsce i drugim co do wielkości miastem historycznej Małopolski.
Ale w czasach populacji Warszawa, Kraków, Łódź i Wrocław powinny być uważane za duże miasta, ponieważ każdy obcokrajowiec przyjeżdżający do Polski prawdopodobnie osiedli się w dużym mieście, którego nie można zasugerować jako takiego.

@@everestjourney Between big city and small city is a wide range of categories like average city or quite big city for example. Warsaw is metropolis (separate category)in polish conditions but Kraków, Łódź, Wrocław, Poznań, Gdańsk (tricity) are not, but you can call them very big cities (for Poland) ,another category are big cities with 300-400k population like Szczecin, Bydgoszcz and Lublin, average cities have about 150 - 300k population like Toruń, Radom, Kielce, Rzeszów etc. small cities have about 20- 100k population. For sure Lublin is not small city in polish conditions when you look at population but also meaning for country and historical.
