I can't build an ikea closet with my gf without yelling at each other every 5 seconds. These guys went out and build cabins and still can maintain a civil conversation. Congrats!

Im so late to this lmao but I love this. The energy, the atmosphere, the forest, the cabins, your relationship, this channel. All of it is just *chefs kiss* (edit: also I don’t know where you are but I was sent to a wilderness program in Georgia and it was one of the best experiences of my life. This forest reminds be a lot of the Blue Ridge Mountains, so serene and lush. Just beautiful. Makes me miss it)
I was born and raised in the PNW, a few seconds into your first short I knew it’s in our magical rainforest!.. I live on a family farm and train horses, we moved out of Washington for 3 years and even tho we loved Montana, nothing even comes close to the fear PNW!! I would LOVE to visit cabinland !:

I’m later than you.born & raised (reared.?.) in NC .blue ridge is killer. My younger brother and sister in law bought a beautiful property in Little Switzerland that the previous owner didn’t quite finish for some reason.?.?.? They made some changes & finished it up. Talk about a view!!!its up high. I’ve lived in the mountains of NC for a year or so here & there,went to school at app state.twice,hiked a section of AT with friends & family from all over the country every summer for years.Got into solo cano camping for a few years,NC,TN,VA.Early spring was my fave time to do that but always had a great time. But little Switzerland…Had a family getaway near the end of this summer..Was the 1st time me & my daughter were able to make it up…BEAUTIFUL! Morning coffee watching the sun rise & fog/clouds lift,over 6-7 valleys was something else!Similar to looking out over the ocean.The view was constantly changing and noticed something different every time you look for a while. Nature sure does give you a mental reboot/recharge .doesn’t have to be a spectacular spot either..spending time somewhere peaceful in the woods in the area around you,wherever that might be, has the same effect. Good for the soul.

I’m subscriber 848K! I’m really late but come from building peeps. My great aunt at the age of 69 built a three story rock fireplace in her modified A frame cabin. She collected every rock through her travels in Michigan’s Great Lakes. She mortared every rock as well. Looking forward to viewing this channel and reading all the comments. 💕🇺🇸
SUPER RAD! But hot tip if I may.... Don't waste precious energy carrying your lumber! I have done some building with similar obstacles (No road + cliffs and rivers) you can set up a non evasive zip line tied to the trees with that you can clip your loads to the pulley system and with a gentle push or pull just sail the lumber over the forest floor. Killing it either way.

Been a huge fan of Sara from way back in the AOTS days and I have thoroughly geeked out over Jacob's cabins ever since Sara first shared them with us. I'm assuming AOTS means something different to what I'm used to...
But AOTS in my city, stands for Auckland Opioid Treatment Service and it's a branch of CADS which is Community Alcohol and Drugs Services.

Well! I was already following both of you on Instagram, Sarah for the picturesque natural background of her photos ( suuuuure) and Jacob for the cabins in the wood (I live on the South shore of Montreal Canada and went through the Catskills a couple of times). This is the exact thing that me and my partner want to do too basically, we want to live fully off grid and sustainably. We even live in Washington as well (idk if y'all are actually in Washington but PNW is basically Washington and Oregon)
