Sara's mom and step dad spend the week helping us salvage materials from the old cabins before demoing them.
We reuse so much on the new cabin from the shingles ( Cedar shake) to the siding and even the trim.

10:50 I know this is super old but hearing you and your mom talk and the things you both said in this clip remind me so much of my mom. We argue like cats and dogs just like I assume most mothers and daughters do but she has been there to support and help me through every step in my life. When I decided to take a risk and move myself and my daughter across the country to a state where we literally knew no one, and away from her (I've always lived within 15-30 min of my mom and even in SoCal traffic you know that's pretty close lol) for the first time in my life, she was the one to push me to do it. Not because she wanted us to leave, bc I know it killed her and it still does 3 years later, especially her being so far away from my daughter who she helped me raise, she still tells me it was the best decision for both my daughter and myself. I love that your mom is so supportive! ❤
