The pacing is damn slow at times, but the premise is fascinating and admits all the technobabble there's some genuinely interesting ideas on the potential effects of telepathy and the construction of a hive-consciousness.
The first narrator is a master of academic neutral tone... I could zone out and listen to him all day and fall asleep to the sound of him droning on forever. The second narrator makes me clench my fists and want to flip off a box of kittens. EDIT: Oh, I didn't realize he gets cut off so quickly in this vid. Thank you for that! I just watched the whole hour long version last night, it's a bonus on the new Scanners Blu-ray. I suffered through all of the second guy's pompous narrations and may never recover.
This movie was pretty interesting. I enjoyed it a lot, Crimes of the future (if that was the correct name of another Cronenberg´s film) was really really strange, yet interesting : 3

Wtf???
I'm a huge cronenberg fan, but this is like rediculously boring and dumb. And i sat through eraserhead!
Eraserhead is also far out. The only one who understands Lynch's movies, is David Lynch.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
eraserhead is great, but it doesn't ask you to think.
