  • It may feel like it’s been a long time, but only 5 years ago the Chicago Cubs broke their 108-year-long World Series curse. That team was built up from the ground by making great moves along the way.
But now, some of the key contributors to their World Series run are likely on the way out and Chicago may be going back to square one.

This was a great video. I'm more of a baseball fan in general, not really super attached to one team, but if i were forced to pick a favorite it would be the Cubs. It's impossible to hate Rizzo. And Bryant is one of my favorite players. But I love content that dives into specific team years, and I think its just crazy that with the line-up they had they weren't really able to replicate the 2016 success. I think the 2016 Cubs and their "downfall" always makes for a great topic. Keep up the killer videos, I know I've said it on a couple of your vids now, but you are going to blow up my man. Great job!

Thanks so much for your continued support! I find the Cubs case so fascinating and the perfect example of why things dont normally last that long in sports. It's crazy that this core only got one championship together. The future is never guaranteed

Great vid! Looking at how the Cubs have been over the last few years makes it seem like a miracle they won in 2016 at all. Defnitely holding my breath through the rebuild

I've been noticing a pattern. Almost every Team in the playoffs within the past 5 years follows the same way. A manager signs, Draft picks the perfect player, trading for under performing players and turning them into monsters, and signing at least 3 free agents
