Yessah my braddah! True sleepah! Stealth mode baby! I feel ya with the upgrading of the bike makes it become a new bike! Was running a similar set up with the 45a Sab with my 48v and top speed was 40 and with a 72v, was hitting similar speeds in this video with my S1. Gonna do a video soon on my new upgrades. Re the XP Premium - meh - I'm not sold on it - I like the idea of getting my own extra battery for an xp 2 - kind of what Sunny Whitehurst did with a 20ah battery. And about the step over - I def see what you are saying. But I'm an old fart and the ST would be easier for sure. I like the step over look - it kind of reminds me of an old school rigid frame harley - very cool look.

First time here ...Lemme start by saying ...Wow ...The piece is nice and it is def a sleeper .
I just ventured into the ebike world like 2 months ago and I picked up the xp 2.0 and was not really looking into moddin it to the max but i wanted to squeeze a lil bit more out of it.
Where I live its cold and i cannot really ride it alot so there is alot of time i got to to add a lil bit of stuff here and there.
Like i just picked up a 11 x 28 freewheel i gotta put on yet and there are a few things i am looking into doing so i can make it a lil bit quicker .
I am not looking to jump right into the 72 volt stage just yet ...but dont say Never ...lol

idk if id want to go 40 on a folder often or have all that weight in the back, but looks fun. would be nice to be able to get it in the trunk of my car though. I could maybe get a 29er in but id def have to remove the front wheel and maybe go in through the door.
the only step throughs i like are the ones with a console filling in the step through like the radrunner. extra storage in the center of bike for weight distribution and helps make it look like a motorcycle if done right. one could do a lot to hit extra batts etc on a bike like that.

I'm only 5 minutes 38 seconds in and what I would tell you is that's an awesome bag but I would cut open the inside and rip out the insulation to maybe try to keep the battery cooler

Nice tires. I had a pair. Elev8 makes the same exact tires. They get flats easily though. I would cop some tannus tire inserts for those joints. Also, I'm too lazy to fix the brake rub on my ebike 😆

Love the new setup. I have to agree with you about 2 things. Lectric Premium looks like crap and IMO it is made for old people ;) 2. BBSHD with original motor makes this bike heavy as F..... I can still do 35mph on mine no problem but when it comes to pick it up it sucks a little. What i like about BBSHD is the torque , thing is crazy. Also love the tires , im looking at Shinkos myself because people say good things about them , 241 for front and 244 for the back.

im like you, i took a shitty protech 20x4 folding ebike, did repaint, put 3k hub, built the 78 volt battery added a 350 watt hub to the front tire, then now a 6.5 inch motocycle headlight. i will be straight up i like building them more then riding them for some reason
Are you saying you could put that rear wheel and motor on the mid drive X Premium and they would work together? Is that possible? Your bike is awesome. Might get a black stepover XP 3.0. I love it! I have done a lot to mine also, changed the handlebars the grips, the pedals, I have the same seat as you do. I upgraded the lights and brakes to hydraulic cable pulls. I have been commuting on it and do find I want more power! I get it up to 28 mph but I would like more power for the hills, it drops to 11-13 mph. since you added the battery to the back, what do you have in the old battery location?? How did you get the BMX handlebars on the old forks?? I have been looking at some cool ebikes on the market, but very few allow going past 28 mph. Great video keep it up
Nothing in the battery compartment now, the bmx bars were easy just had to buy a couple parts to make it work.
The market is getting a little better, there are faster options but modding is still king.

ohh ya chaoyang back tire that resists flats and apehanger handebars that are for a motorcycle. i wish i could upgrade the forks, but i am on disability money because im a semi crippled and almost blind, so riding my bike is kinda scary, but damm it looks good

UG awesome upgrades! I’m a newbie what’s your comparison with the XPremium & the engwe bikes from Poland. Beastly full suspension 35 mph! A true euro about the same price as the XP?
It’s definitely better to not only become a “mechanic” for your own bike, but to also upgrade your current bike as you’ll not only again become a better mechanic for your things’ you’ll also get 3X the performance for a fraction of the cost a new ebike working on technology that is 10 yrs. in the past.

Turned it into beast. Now which is your favorite after this upgrade? Lol. Yeah those brakes look treacherous to say the least. You got me wanting to heat up my credit card now. Lol
The Lectric is faster now but the ZX is no punk either, and has better range. I alternate everyday now. The XP was sitting for awhile when I upgraded the super73 but now it gets a lot more seat time. They’re both 🔥now. Hard to choose lol.
