Rodri is World Class. He is the back bone of the team, he connects the defense and midfield. He's so good at defending and retrieving the ball which allows our attacking players to start a move. He's so safe and strong on the ball and is smart with his passing. This guy scores bangers for fun, ones that I just keep rewatching over and over. I respect him so much as he is still studying, he donates blood and gives a cut of his salary to charity. He's so humble, generous and caring. This is a well rounded player and person.

the art in this position is being technical enough to split and come out nicely from the back, like busquets, to have the elegance and quality, to create danger and forward passes , that contribute to effective build up and finding players with space to attack .... from there, go forward and help press offensively and then create attacking chances by splitting defenses awith through balls or opening up space for players with sppace. Its being a technical and offensive player in a defensive pposition, its kinda, iquality and interesting , in an offensive team, you can probably have some one better or as good in recovery , but can you have someone, with that good control and touch, who can dribble too, beat a man pplay a one 2 and translate it in build up and chances created or finding space , thats kind of more rare, which is what sets good cdm that have technique and understand build up apart, from an average recovering player.. Riquelme described busquets as a number 10 in the 5 position. Your essentially creating, from there, its kinda nice!
