Dude that combi bracelet is sick. I wish I had it. I love Gshock squares. I have one beater and one daily. That canvas grey looks pretty cool.

I’ve got more Squares than I can count and on the DW-5600Es, I use Jays&Kays adapters and Barton’s regular silicone straps - they have smaller holes, no grommets. It’s the most comfortable way to wear them. I wish they made camo pattern silicone. I’ve seen camo silicone but they’re very expensive. The Alie express titanium bezels are nice - I replaced one on my NASA Square and paired it with a while silicone strap - love it.
I'm still not sure about those adapters - looks like they could be painful but I also have small/medium wrists so hopefully not.

I think maybe you got a malfunction on that silicone watch strap because I have used several of them from the same company and I have had zero issues.
I replace them every six months or so as they wear out. They constantly break on me but they're more comfortable than most so I always keep extras on hand. I also lift weights and do private security in various conditions, so that may have something to do with it but either way, they definitely wear out on me.

@@5MinuteKnives I have to admit that strap combination looks pretty awesome too. Barton straps are awesome, it really levels up the look of the watch.
I have several G Shock watches my self...love the carbon Mud Master...but my shirt sleeves and wrist keeps hitting the compass and killed the battery...I have a Marine Master ( guess that's what it's called ) started to grab the Frogman a few times..I finally bought a 5.11 Division with a Nato strap so I can use this button compass I'm sitting on..just ordered a Sunnto clipper for my Mudmaster ... but I love that strap going to check them out
How do you like the nato straps so far?

@@waynejohnson3214 just pickin' on ya bud. :) I didn't realize until after I shot the whole damned thing. That being said I've actually had a lot of problems with the adaptors. The spring bars keep popping off! I contracts Barton and am waiting to hear back before I do an update vid... Got the basic resin straps on there now. They're holding fine. Appreciate you stopping by!
@@5MinuteKnives You're not the only one with the spring bar issue. I just bought a strap from them, and have the same trouble. I emailed them, and they gave me a refund without question, even told me to keep the strap. I've ordered some adaptors from JayKay, maybe they'll work better.
@@waynejohnson3214 that's really good to know man! The funny thing is when I try the spring bars by themselves, they hold just fine. It appears to be something with the adaptors kicking them out a bit maybe? Either way, I'm bummed. Those straps were a huge improvement comfort wise. I should've prolly waited a bit longer to shoot the vid but I thought it was a simple mod. Anyway, appreciate the info bud. Glad I'm not the only one...
I love my g-shock. I have the GW-7900B solar atomic rescue black on black and I got the glass screen protectors and bull bars for mine. Never been into the square body watches but it don't look too bad and you can never go wrong with a g-shock.

@Josh's life. haha! I rarely use most of the features tbh. I'm just sick of setting my automatic watches and replacing batteries so it's become my edc. 🤘
@Josh's life. I'm with you, I can't read that book for nothing. I also went to CZcams for instructions lol. Watch geek is a really good channel for that, he's really detailed and I think he has a transcript for his videos.
I don't use any of the features either, I just like thyroid looks of it lol. Plus it has a moon phase on the screen, which looks cool but then again I can always just go outside and look 😂. I do like the fact also that I never have to set the time or change the battery. As little as I wear it, it seemed the most practical. Plus it has a power saving option that is its not moved, it goes into some sleep stage.

All you need to do is check the “lug width”, look for an adapter and strap or just a strap that is the size of the lug width 👍

Not yet. Still deciding if I'm gonna keep it or not. Even my local watchmaker couldn't get the barton adaptors on. lol
Same issue here. The adaptors need burring out where they meet the backing plate to allow the lugs to seat properly. Terrible they are happy to put on the market when clearly a design/manufacturing error. Not happy. Can anyone recommend a similar adapter that actually fits? If not I’ll modify with the dremel 😔
I actually picked up a 2 dollar pair form ally express right after this happened and they're still on it now. 🤷♂️

You're right. The ONLY way they'd go on. I even brought them to a local watchmaker and he couldn't get 'em on right either. Something's up with those adaptors. I have a plastic cheapo set on this watch now and they are holding just fine.👍
@@5MinuteKnives still was never able to get mine on either. In all I had a terrible experience with Barton brand all together and the parts not matching up was icing on the cake, I also believe the quality of materials does not match the price. I am going to choose a different option in the future.

You didn't watch the end. They wouldn't go on any other way. Even a local watchmaker couldn't install them for me. Follow up vids after this one...
