Romero/ Phoenix just died. Nicholson/ Leto was golden age. Ledger is the modern one.

Yep he looks like a combination of those two, but acts like Heath Ledger with his cold and calculating personality and his genius-level intellect.

The Aquarium is a reference to “Joker’s 5-Way Revenge!” By Dennis O’Neil (RIP). It’s considered the comic that made Joker a killer again. Prior to that comic he hadn’t showed up in print for something like a decade and was only seen on the 60s Batman TV show. O’Neill said that he purposefully was trying to make the Joker into a scary villain like he was originally intended to be, since the Joker had become a jewel thief in 50s comics and had become less of a murderer. In the comic, Joker returns to Gotham and starts carrying out assassinations on his former gang members who testified against him.

When Joker said - I'll be your Robin, I felt like that was a detail that Jason didn't want Batman, Batgirl or anyone to know about happen when Joker was beating him. Once I saw those tears in his eyes I knew he was going to pull the trigger because Joker struck a personal nerve that he made Jason completely submit to him in that instance when he beat him with that crowbar. He pretty much embarrassed the so called bad ass RedHood/Jason Tood.

It’s funny because when I read this book, I heard 3 versions of Mark Hamils voice. The older one has a deeper and tougher voice, the goofy one has the high pitched animated series joker voice and the one from killing joke to killing joke Joker. It’s great that way

It would be dope that way but another way I would think about it is if they gave each a different voice actor. John DiMaggio or Michael Emerson could do the voice of OG Joker I think either one could pull off a cold, calculating psychopath vibe in the voice. Troy Baker could voice Silver Age Joker considering the fact that he sounds like a younger Mark Hamill with a bit of an edge to it and could pull off that goofy yet dangerous vibe. And lastly Mark Hamill as modern day/Killing Joke Joker. This one needs no such intro
@@90snickshows84 I was thinking maybe Mark Hamill as the "better" Joker that the other three Jokers plan on making, John DiMaggio as the original Golden Age Joker, John Kassir as the Silver Age Joker (using his Crypt Keeper voice), and Corey Burton as the Modern Age "Killng Joke" Joker (using his Prof. Von Drake voice, minus the accent, for sillier moments and his Hugo Strange voice for darker moments).

@@kingslim2870 when Red Hood said that line to Barbara, he's saying that Batgirl is very accurate with her batarangs, so much so that she rarely (if at all) misses her intended target. Red Hood is basically saying that Barbara wanted this Joker dead as much as Red Hood did, that's why she missed. Barbara thinks it was a miss, but her heart won't allow her to admit that she missed because she wanted to see this Joker dead.
Joker got the Barbra, too, without even talking to her
With the exception of Damien all the Robins have admits that Batgirl is better than all of them. Sorry, yeah It's pretty rare for her to miss.

Jason Todd seems to be the most logical member of the bat family. If Batman had the testicular fortitude to kill the Joker long ago, Jason and countless others would not have suffered the fates that they did, and Gotham would be a very different place. Thank you Jason Todd, for finally doing what no one else was willing to do! The Frank Castle method of fighting crime is proven to be the most effective.

There where one more line inside the cabin that is important: "We do what we always do. We try to make better Joker".
Which again reminds us that Batman and Joker are frighteningly similar. Just like Bruce has a device to make a new Batman by sacrificing someone's memory/life, the Joker has similar plans in motion.
When did he have that device? I know in some cases there are cloning machines that have been made, Last Knight On Earth, one of the Batman Dark Multiverse stories where he came out as a baby. Is there one I'm missing?

Dang I was shaking during that whole Red Hood part too, because finally DC goes into the whole philosophy of all of that and makes it plain and blunt and clear to the point where “we are all thinking it but no one’s said it yet”. Awesome touch that the 3 heroes in this all have that personal connection/vendetta with the Joker (Batman, Batgirl, Red Hood) This is off to a great start! Awesome video, Rob! 🤩👍

I realised this was a good story the moment i saw myself just dropping what is was doing and just looking at the screen and listening to Rob...just...captivated by the story, by the moments, by what was happening...It's something that usually never happens, normally i just listen while doing something else but this time? this time i only realised that i dropped what i was doing and was looking at the screen when i hear Rob going "BUT WITH THAT BEING SAID"
I imagine OG Joker with the Mark Hamill voice, KJ Joker with the Heath Ledger voice, and SA Joker with the Jack Nicholson voice.
For me, OG Joker would have Ledger's voice and KJ Joker Hamill because OG Joker doesn't smile or laugh that much like Ledger & his voice was described as toneless in his very first comic,Batman #1 (1940), and Ledger's voice can be described as toneless too. While KJ Joker would sound like Hamill to me because Hamill voiced him in the Killing Joke movie.

He came back to life years later only when Superboy Prime broke all continuity when he literally punched through and fractured the DC universe! Jason's retcon revival was a side-effect.

Ok. I have to say it. This story is excellent. It bringing the members of the family’s scars to the surface. Showing they’re people. Regular everyday people. And they can fall victim to their emotions just like the rest of us. Because fade but they’re never really gone, if you look under the surface. Beautifully done.
If Batman has all those scars, doesn’t it interfere with his womanizing. It would give his secret identity away if he was with a girl. They’d ask why does Bruce Wayne have so many scars

THIS is the version of Red Hood that i love so much. Broken, vengeful, ... Vulnerable. I love these kinds of heroes that are in the gray area.
People confuse Jason killing, they look at it like “oh cool the robin who kills and uses guns” if you just analyze Jason and how the guy works. You’ll understand he ain’t killing because for him is pleasure, as he said in the movie for example, when he was confronting Batman and telling him the quantity of people killed by the Joker. You can really get what makes Jason superior than Batman in an aspect, if you compare him with Batman then you can really got it. Jason is the one who won’t take second chances for those who already went far. He won’t kill a bank robber, but a psycho like the joker he have the guts to end that. And for that he is probably the one who is willing to do the things needed to clean Gotham.

IMHO it would be AMAZING if you did a video on Raven Explained or Constantine Explained since they are such powerful and interesting characters but little recognition. That would be AMAZING! Also love your vids, your channel is most certainly my favorite on CZcams; definitely one of the best free and efficient ways to become an expert in comicology (I made that term up). My favorite video is Beyond Omega Level: Swamp Thing, because Swampy is a bad ass and deserves more respect than he gets, and his trolling of Batman was hilarious, and I'm glad we're getting an explanation to all these mind-blowing Joker conspiracy theories.

This is one the best story that came out of DC recently. The art the depth, the lore,the nods to the previous stories it so good. Where does the story take place is out of the continuity or not
After watching this video 3 times I can say with out a shadow of a doubt that this will be one of the greatest DC storylines ever.
Hopefully there is explainnation how there is 3 joker at the first place.
The "EXPLAINED" part of this video is missing. You've reverted to just synopsising the comic book, and not explaining it so much. There's a lot to talk about here, to explain for people who've read the comic but need things explained. Like why is there no reference to Metrons chair and the revelation Batman got? Why is this outside of continuity? Is it always going to stay outside of continuity? Will its popularity or sales figures bring it into continuity some how? Alfred is alive, so it's pre-Joker war. But the events of Joker war make no reference to there being 3 jokers? EXPLAIN please. The channel is comics explained, not comics retold for you.

I think your wrong about Jason not being written “Right”. Since the beginning of the the new 52 Jason Todd might be the Only relevant character to be written with a Forward progression that is not simply going to be forgotten by the next writer that picks up the character. This Redemptive Hero, instead if the one note Angry Anti-Hero.

Yea I'm confused about that too because in rebirth #1 it shows the 3 jokers and one of them is clearly the new52 scott snyder version of the joker with the sides of his head shaved and only hair on top but in this he dosent look that way so they either changed which versions their using or they just changed his look or maybe theres more we need to find out yet idk

I don’t get the need for the 3 versions of the joker honestly ?
I am so ready for more of this. Also, I totally side with Jason, not only is it satisfying as hell to see him get his revenge on that Joker, but knowing how much chaos the Joker has put Gotham and the Bat Family through (even if this isn't the "real" Joker) it packs a good punch to see him put down.
Finally, Years later! These DC dudes man! Been waiting on this since that batcave-screen reveal! Way innovative and new. Clever chronology/plot-hole play as.well.
I don't think any are the original, the timeframe seems to hint that someone else could have made them
