Omg...THANK YOU for telling us how Much cloth we will need...the size of the strips...the length AND width of the project, up front!! I have watched SO many videos and they have yet to do this, like you have. AND you told us how much material for the Backing...and binding!!! No one else has done this! At 72, I am a beginner (retired with time on my hands) quilter and am lost in "paradise". A beginner knows next to nothing...so...again, thank you for being through. I now don't feel lost...Heading to the fabric store this morning because I now feel confident! Thank you sweetheart, you now have a new follower! hugs, Donna
Oh I’m so glad you enjoyed it! Have fun making your quilt!

OH You just SAVED me! I just got asked to make a quilt (like it is something you can just whip up in an hour) from a non-quilter I owe a favor to & this is perfect! I can sew along with you & it will keep me on schedule while sewing ALL the other stuff I Need to get sewn before Christmas. I even have 2 perfect Jelly Rolls from the stash! Yippee! Thanks Elizabeth.
Oh yay! Glad to help!!
I’m a beginner in quilting and am looking forward to having a go at doing this with your help😍. Off to buy two jelly rolls in the morning!!
I’ve always wanted to do one of these quilts, but it looked like a lot of work. After checking out the tutorials you referenced and knowing how fun the last quilt tutorial you made, I’m thinking I might give this a go. I’ve been holding onto my jelly rolls for too long. 😁
Oh fun!! I'm excited to get it made!
I've never learned to sew (although trying to remedy that so that I can finish my cross stitches!) and I've certainly never quilted, but I am super excited to follow this journey and see how it turns out! The fabrics look beautiful! I really love the dark green.
Thank you so much!
Looks amazing
Oh, my Gosh! I've had this "pinned" for so long and this is just the nudge I need!!! I'm in!!

I love this - I need to hurry up and get two jelly rolls - thinking Christmas Stitched by Fig Tree - may have to bring in a few more lights. I’ve always wanted to make this quilt!
Oh I love that christmas stitched fabric!! You can definitely do it all colorful if you'd like, I've seen some wonderful versions like that!
I'm so excited you are doing a tutorial for beginners. I hope to follow along with you. My first quilt and my first sew along.

Light vs Dark sides... hmmmm
My mind: Luke, join the dark side. Lol
I think this needs to be my first quilt...
I totally thought about that as I was saying it 😂
I will be joining you on this quilt. Waiting for my jelly rolls in the mail. I will be using Prairie by Lori Holt and White Kona Solid.

woo hoo!!
@@elizabethanncanstitch Waiting for your next video on this. I have two blocks ready to sew from strips into the block but am stymied on the ironing - which direction to iron what row ? Square? Do I sew the strips together into a block & then iron. GAH!!!
I am Working on a mini trip around the world with Kansas troubles honey bun the 1 1/2” strips have been challenging but fun. I’m looking forward to your tips and making a larger quilt
I enjoy your floss tubes and seeing your quilting. Thanks
oooh a mini one sounds so cute! Thanks!
Oh my goodness I already had 2 jelly rolls of the same fabric you are gonna use including the green , but I had only bought enough of the green for a border. I was so excited when you mentioned this sew along several videos back. Yeah!
Oh yay! I love this fabric so much!!
I’ve wanted to make a trip around the world quilt for ages! I’m going to do it - with Halloween fabric! Yikes!! I’ll let you know how it goes🎃
cant wait to see!
Oh my, this was the first quilt I made years ago, it was an Elenore Burns pattern. There was no such thing as jelly rolls back then 😂😂
Oh awesome! Yeah jelly rolls are amazing!
Finally getting around to making this quilt, are there just the 2 video tutorials? I watched the first and started the second but I feel like I missed the assembly part. I see the videos you linked is that where I go to pieces the jelly rolls together?
Sorry for the trouble , I’m a true beginner!
There is a trip around the world part 2 and then a trip around the world wrap up video! 3 videos total and if you go to my channel and click on "videos" you'll see those other 2 videos posted a few weeks or a month after this one
I'd love to make this but in Canada a jelly roll is 65.00$ each. Can't afford it at the moment sadly. I will see if i can make this using my yardage and remnants!
Oof! You can make this out of yardage for sure! 3 yards will give you 40 2.5 inch strips!
Can you tell me the name of your introduction music? It’s so beautiful! Reminds me of a lazy summer day! And BTW, I also love to watch your videos. I get so much inspiration from you! Thank you!
Its called Easy Stroll by Track Tribe! Its from youtube's royalty free music library!
Can I use yardage of a light with flecks of a color and then a jelly roll of my colors? 2 1/2” strips of my contrasting light above. I guess I’ll google how much yardage I will need. Or I guess I could just get a light jelly roll?
For sure! You can get 40 2.5 strips out of three yards of fabric!
It looks like there is a lot of cutting in that quilt. It looks nice though.
Jelly rolls definitely save some of the cutting!
Cool, now store them in a sealed container so the kitty doesn't get into them!!!
Oh don't worry, my craft room is now firmly a no cats allowed zone, with two kittens... lol
