So you get 46 shots around 30 FPE (875fps with 18.2 gr JSB)? That seems like a low shot count for that power level and that giant 500cc bottle. I get 36 shots from a 3200 psi fill at 32 FPEwith my Marauder and 219cc tube. At 500cc I would get over 70 shots. Awesome Daystate though, and I waiting for one to arrive in the mail :)
It depends on what you think. I myself prefer the Higher shot count of the Air Ranger vs the huntsman/regal in 22 cal. In 25 caliber the Ranger is way better. either way there both great guns.
Hi Cricket, first of all thanks for sharing all you videos, I find them very informative. I know you also have a FX400 in your colection, I am a target shooter and prefer .177 caliver. If you would have to choose between FX 400 and Daystate Air Ranger What would it be your choice? and Why?
Your Most Welcome Glad you enjoy and find my videos helpful that is why I do them. I would choose the FX400. They are both nice rifles. But the FX has a regulator available that fits right in which is really the cast meow for shooting long range and getting a FLAT shot string. I have not had to do any real tuning on any of my FX guns were Daystates I have had to do quite a bit. Either will serve you well. I also prefer the stock on the 400 I like a dedicated right or left hand stock not ambidextrous. SO that is my 2cents LOL hope it helps.
jimineecricket1 also I like the power adjuster on the 400 the ranger doesn't have one. I use mine a lot. I works with the regulated gun or unregulated. and it is repeateable no nonsense adjustment. It has 3 levels which I wish you could tweak more but that is what it is and works very well.
the spider shot ! beautiful :-)))
EPIC spider kill at 12:42
awesome shootin', that gun is the Lexus LFA of airguns.
Thanks man it sure is a beauty.
I would say it is as accurate as accurate gets I have quite a few guns equal to it but none really better.
Hi Cricket. do you know any air tank or adapter to swap tanks in the field?
What would you say is the most accurate of your guns at 18 yards (top three)?
Thanks
Do you feel it is worth the additional cost of the Ranger as compared to the Regal/ Huntsman?
Thanks
