Thanks for a good review, I'm a big Mueller fan, been using their 4.5x14 on a vepr 308 and its an awesome scope. Wanted this one for my SC 03A3 30.06 to do some long range targeting..wish it had mildot but for the price I can live w/o it.
I used that scope to take the prize for most Xs at an informal 50 cal competition. Had it on an Armalite AR-50. Scope held its own against all the top Euro brands and I thought it was clearer than Night Force at 600 yards. But!----- its not built tough, so handle it like an egg. It fell over while on my 300 win mag and tweaked the eye bell and hasnt been right since.
Cricket, is that a etched reticle or a wire one. Noticed the crosshair was very fine, do you know if the mil dot crosshair is as fine as that one. Do you know if it is a first focal plane or a second focal plane? Loved that Daystate!!!!!!!!!!
I think I get what your saying. The target Dot is Ultra fine very very small and doesnt block much of the target. ANd as I said for me it is Very very clear and focus is sharp no fuzz here. hope that helps. I target shoot alot and I need to see the reticle clearly so I can put it were I want it exactly. and this scope fills the bill.
Mueller is this gun lovers best kept secret. If paying more for an optic is in you budget or liking, have at it. You won't hear a complaint from me. I refuse to put junk on a quality weapon but I won't spend $600 if I can spend $200 for a good optic. I own the Speed Shot 1-4X24 and love it. Check out MAC's review on the speed shot. I can drive tacks with these 58 year old eyes with my AR 15. I have a Nikon 4-12 with the BDC on my DPMS varment .308. The Nikon Spot On is the berries. It just plain works. I didn't pay a lot for the Nikon either. I saved a few bucks......bought more ammo!!!
I have same scope. Mine won’t zero with bore scope red dot at 50yards. Red dot is still right and high and I have run out of turret adjustments I used different scope rings and rifles same problem I can do 25yards but 50 no way. Is scope bad or am it missing something. I don’t have problem with other scopes just this one
Well ask away I can try to answer you as best I can. IT easily compairs to my Hawke tacticals and I dare say sharpness is a bit better than the Hawkes too.

cobblerama I’m looking to buy this for my 30-06 as well. Did you end up buying this? If so, how well does it hold it’s zero with so much recoil?

yep that is a bummer not sure Y they don't offer a mildot version but they don't at this time.
