Hi, it's great to rewatch these around holiday time! For my exterior garland and wreaths, I put small eye hooks above the trim. Then I got little carabiners to put on the decor. It is so fast and easy to put up and take down 😉
You could always put a small outdoor spotlight pointed at your big red wreath to make it shine at night.

To decorate my font porch , I pulled out limbs from our old retired plastic/metal christmas tree.Shoved a bunch into a big basket sticking up, wrapped on lights and bulbs, magic! Used a bunch of the rest to go up a trellis next to the front door, and buried the stick part of the tree 'top' into a bale of straw at its base for a little tree.
How beautiful, I want those trees, they are adorable and the birds are the perfect touch.

I love it! It turned out so pretty. I also love those trees. I am going to keep watching them and maybe they will go on sale. I decorate with cardinals, too, and bought a pretty cardinal tree topped a couple of years ago. I think it will look great to light the box topiaries and I would also suggest putting red bows on the garland at the bottom of the stairs so as to bring the red color down.

The red cardinals in the trees are my favorite! I had been looking for a few weather resistant cardinals to put in a weeping cherry tree near our front porch but without success. I went ahead and decorated the tree with what I already had in the bottom of my Christmas tub-silver balls and 10 inch long crystals from an antique lamp which look like icicles. As I sat on the porch to admire my work a real cardinal flew in and perched on the top of the tree!

Love the red berry wreath, cardinal pillow, and cardinals in the three trees. Watering the big pots of cut evergreen branches to stabilize after a freeze was my take away idea from this video.

The trees with the cardinals are adorable. I would put the bottoms of those trees inside some galvanized buckets or those small square wood planters to hide their bases. But it looks amazing!

must say it's looks so good gives you a warm seasonal feeling and I agree what's wrong with starting Christmas off early makes the lead up to the day more special and reminds your little one that Santa is on the way.

Wow! I had that kind of energy when I was young. I was always outdoors (in the flowerbeds) and always decorating for the seasons. You are giving me the holiday spirit. I think I will do some decorating this week. I love the trees and I love cardinals. I look forward to your next video.
I know...I had that kind of energy about 18 years ago. Now my bones are cracking everytime I wake up. Lol. I just placed a simple wreath on my door with battery operated lights, stuck a projector light in my yard for Christmas lights and called it a day. #notbreakingmyback

You could cover the cords with wrapped boxes with bows on them. Cover boxes with plastic colored wrap. Easy diy!

I could tell that your trio of tree were gorgeous when you picked them up from your kitchen area - before you even unwrapped them. And the red cardinals that you put in them really takes them to a more brilliant level!!! They not only match the pillow but they echo the red of your wreath. You have such good taste!
Love your garland over the doorway, I don't have a protected area, to be able to do this, but you have given me some ideas on another way I can decorate my front door, thank you Laura you are such an inspiration, have a great day looking forward to your next video!

I've been waiting for this second video for weeks! Lovely ideas! I finished off my giant cement urn and 2 front planters similarly with magnolia branches rather than fir and pine. It's a Southern thing! I'm definitely hitting the Plow and Hearth outlet that's not too far from my home and pick up some of those awesome twig trees. Cardinals are the state bird and they're all over my property! Thanks for the awesome ideas!

Wow, the 3 birch trees with the cardinals added was gorgeous! I checked on both of these items and the cardinals are unavailable... 'oh darn'. Where did you find that darling pillow with the cardinal and jingle bells ...so cute. I always look forward to seeing the Cardinal's red coloring against the stark, glistening snow. It 's one of my favorite joys during the Christmas season. You captured it beautifully. It's all perfect!🎄

Wire greenery over cords to hide them on the porch. In the landscaping- Cut notches into the rim of a terracotta colored flowerpot, plastic is safer, real clay is prettier but more fragile to dremel a notch without cracking it. invert the pot ( turn it upside down) tuck the multiple plug ins from your extension cords inside the pot with the cord coming out the notch. You can include the pot into your decorating theme and no one would be the wiser. If you live in snow country and the plugs ins are on the ground the pot not only hides the ugly plugs it protects them from getting buried in the snow so you can pull them up after the holidays. Put a small rock or brick on top of the inverted pot to weigh it down and to cover the drainage hole if the snow is deep.
