My husband and I got married the first weekend in Dec. and we had a sweet Christmas ornament shower given by our Sunday school class. It was so sweet to have ornaments for our first Christmas together. They were wonderful wedding gifts.
My wife look your videos she love all your decorations and she say your way to explain the steps are really easy you turn all you touch so beatiful your voice is so friendly and its not tiring to hear you everyday jajaja keep doing videos God bless your family
Balsam Hill has gorgeous trees. I purchased mine after Christmas when they had them on sale. Also, my husband’s Mom sent us a new ornament every Christmas. When our babies came along, she would send a special ornament for them, as well. I continue that tradition with my now grown children and grandchildren. It’s nice to have those memories of ornaments when decorating our trees.
Loved watching this! The angel from your first Christmas would be a great topper for a smaller tree decorated with photos of people that have passed on. Old family photos can be reprinted in b/w and framed in gold or silver then sprinkled over the tree. It makes a wonderful conversation tree to tell old stories and remember those that came before or that have influenced your lives in a meaningful way. That angel would be a perfect topping to the memory tree. Your home looks so loved and warm.

I'm going thru all your vlogs so I'm just now getting to this one. When my kids were little I let them pick out an ornament every yr (I started sometime after they turned 10 or so) and then when they moved out I gave them the ones they picked. My mother n law also collected ornaments for each grand child from birth to 18 and they got those as well.

We DO host Thanksgiving, and we DO start our holiday decor on 31 October. First,, it takes. Weeks, and I want to enjoy for a month, second, half of family comes for Thanksgiving, other half for Christmas ( 18 siblings between us) and they all love our Christmas decor 😍
When Laura showed her glittery face & said wanna go out, I was like ‘she’ll wash her face later’, but nope she did nottt. You gotta have that confidence lol 😂

The 9ft tree is stunning! Adding the ribbon to the bottom of tha angel makes it look longer and more proportionate to the tree. Thank you for sharing☺

Love your wedding gift suggestion. I’ve done this in the past. If you know of a future wedding when Christmas items are on sale at the end of Christmas you can get really great gifts on a budget.
I agree Zory, coffee and Garden Answer are the best way to start the day!! You are such a fun decorator and I love to see how all the trees come together!!! We have a new kitten this year so I don't think I am doing a tree as I like to get real trees and I think she would be climbing it. But we will be decorating the rest of the apartment and am getting hints from watching you as to what to do. I love the Nutcracker tree idea and I hope you do a video on how you put that whole tree together!!!

It was so cute to watch Russel as you decorated (time lapse) his little head kept turning this way and that as you gathered decorations and put them on the tree. then he turns around and takes a nap. watching you wore him out!! I watched your ribbon and bow video while waiting in line at the drive-through pharmacy on Wednesday, great way to pass the time! My grandma taught me bow making many years ago. She owned a craft store and we made so many fun displays. This and your video in the garden center brought back good memories of working in the shop with my family.

Something I did for my kids when they were little I bought them an ornament every year while they were living here at home. When they moved out they got all the ornaments got to take him with them and like my son like nutcrackers I had bought him several nutcrackers over the years he took them. Just a thought you might like to do it for Benjamin I really think that they appreciate it,

You wear glitter well!✨Always love seeing what you're doing with your trees. Beautiful! We gave our children an ornament every year. They are funky, something they love. Like a Chinese take out box, a piano 😂...then when they got married they had a good start to their own trees. My husband and I also have done this for each other for many years. I collect bees so I have a lot of those and he loves ice cream, so you can only imagine. Ready for Aaron's light show and the rest if your trees. Happy Thanksgiving!!🦃

I love all of your trees, it is so much fun watching and getting ideas for my own Christmas tree, I live in a small house so I only have room for one tree, but this year I want to make it extra special and load it up with some new things and also my other ornaments that I have collected through the years. This was so much fun watching to start off the season, Russell was so cute when he was napping on the pillows and cleaning himself and just being a kitty. Russell says, "But why must I stop? It's so shiny!" I think ornaments make really nice gifts. My kids received quite a few from their grandma when they were little. I use them every year and when they grow up and go, they will be able to take them for their homes. I'm waiting until after Thanksgiving to start decorating. Your videos always inspire me!

I always buy a Christmas ornament when ever we go away as a memory of the time. My sister started a tradition when my boys were born she gave them one every year. When they got married I gave them their ornaments to put on the tree. Now we are going to start that tradition with our granddaughter this year! Its fun to decorate the tree with all the memories.

Balsam Hill's faux trees are beautiful and most are VERY realistic. We were impressed with Costco's faux trees and ended up purchasing the 7.5' one. It is very full and looks incredibly real!
