I got to visit right before the open house and it was beautiful and I was able to get a few ornaments. The gingerbread houses were so adorable, you ladies did such a great job. 🎄🎅
What a gorgeous store your family has created! It must take a lot of work to source and order such a delightful variety of ornaments and decor. I haven't seen anything like it in a long time. Looking through all of the unique pieces is such a joy. And it also must be an absolute delight to create. Thank you to your Parents, Monica and Laura and Aaron for bringing this to us. It has made my day just that much brighter.

In 1986, on Nov. 20 (my Mother's birthday), I opened an arts and crafts store in Alpharetta, GA. Every year we celebrated the 'birthday' of the store on the weekend that most closely fell to that date - which means that it was almost always just before Thanksgiving. The birthday bashes were the most fun I had every year. Decorating the trees, creating the craft kits, arranging the entertainment (one year we had the local high school string quartet play!) and the food (oh, the food....we did sell candy making and cake decorating supplies, lol). The store was open for 7 years and to this day - nearly 30 years later - I still think about the fun we had, the friends made and the beautiful things we created. Your gingerbread houses this year were reminiscent of 7' tall nutcrackers I made from foam core one year. And a beautiful 'flying' angel with lots of glitter.
Thank you for showing us the store and your creativity. It sure brought back some wonderful memories!
Your Mom and Dad's Store is so, so beautiful. I know all of you really work hard decorating it. And the Christmas Houses are unbelievable gorgeous. Also they are all made out of cardboard. Very talented family. ❤️😊❤️

My husband's grandmother made one of those ceramic vintage trees in a pottery class but it's white. I love it. It's a great heirloom to pass down to the kids.
I have a green ceramic tree made by a lifelong friend (vintage 1984) that I bring out every year. Love it!

Fun words for Laura that describe some of my favorite styles... Scandanavian, Nordic Folk Art, Pennsylvania Dutch, MCM Stylized. I LOVE LOVE LOVE that hen you pulled out of the tree. What a lovely shop. You can tell there's JOY in that business.

Laura!!! It's Beautiful!!! I haven't felt good for months (seasonal depression) I was inspired by you to get out of bed and groom and re pot ALL of my house plant's!! It was a hug job. I have plant's of all sizes...30 or more...It was the best therapy and such a reward 🙂 Thank you for providing inspiration to my life and my family was SO proud of all my work ❤ mainly getting out of bed and doing something 🤪🥰

THANK YOU ALL for this lovely tour. Your family does THE most amazing job setting up their shop for the holidays. Sourcing items, unpacking, setting up the entire store-it is a TREMENDOUS amount of work that I believe they wouldn’t do if the community did not support them by coming into the store. I hope this process for you all is done with joy and laughter along with expected long hours and stress that must certainly be involved. I can’t tell you how much I look forward to this tour now after the first viewing when I began following GA. Actually, not long after Laura and Aaron moved into their beautiful home. I wish all of you a beautiful Thanksgiving (I am SO thankful for finding GARDEN ANSWER) and a Happy Christmas 🎄 season. Looking forward to the light tour at your house! I can’t do outside lights these days but I love seeing everyone else’s-such JOY!
One of my favorite things to do this time of year is head to our local nursery, McDonald's Garden Center in Virginia Beach and take Christmas photos of our children. I really admire and appreciate the time that goes into creating such spectacular displays.

We happened to be going past Ontario so I stopped in the store to see things. It was fun to see it in person and buy a couple of things. Your mom was busy helping customers but it’s funny how you feel you know someone just buy watching the videos!

When I watched this I was not in the best of moods; just sorta down; After about half way through I found myself in the Christmas spirit and smiling!! Your videos often do that anyway but this really just made my day!! Love to see the gnomes considering that I made and decorated with them a couple of years ago! thanks for the tour!!
Laura, that beautiful round ornament on the first tree you showed us that had all the little silver circles on it reminds me of a traditional Dutch design called a 'button' or 'Zeeuwse knoop'. It is found in silver rings, earrings, and other jewelry in all provinces of Holland. I had a silver Dutch button ring as a child.❤️
What a fun tour! Those are Sisal shells (The brown "pod" Christmas trees). I just love all the beautiful things - and those Gingerbread houses are amazing! I'm going shopping with my youngest daughter today (Western Washington) and plan to look for a pink poinsettia. I didn't know I needed one until just now! We have some great garden centers here, for sure! Watson's in Puyallup has gorgeous trees and decorations up.

Your parents garden center looks amazing decorated for Christmas. I would spend hours trying to pick out ornaments and decorations. Very beautiful. From the windows to everything in the store . Loved seeing this.
Owning a store with such beautiful and cute things would be the best part. You get to enjoy it everyday being there, until your favorites sell though 😊. I don’t put my Christmas up until after Thanksgiving, but I have my items ready to go, this makes me excited for the time, thank you for sharing with us.

I have finally found myself a Laura style garden center. My dream is to one day visit your families center, but until that can happen I was so excited to walk through the one near me and dream that this is what it could be like to walk through Andrews. I may have looked at things and said to myself..."what would Laura do with this?", Hah thanks for always being a source of inspiration and excitement!

Everything is so beautiful. This year's selcetion of ornaments and decor is inncredible. The leaf shaped indoor water fountains have my heart. Kudos to whomever did the ordering.

We have one of the ceramic trees that my husband's grandmother made when he was a little boy over 40 years ago. I saw them make a come back a couple of years ago. I would spend so much money in your parents shop, lol. Such a beautiful place.

Beautiful lighting for the video! Everything was really easy to see - such amazing Christmas displays all around. Love how clever your family is with turning the garden center into a Christmas store for the holidays. I would decorate the side lot as a Christmas scene & the Gator decorated as a train for children to ride on. Then stop at Santa's workshop to visit Santa, get a cookie, or drop off their wish list, etc. 🎅🚜

Thank you for helping get me in the Christmas spirit! This is the first Christmas without our black lab-she passed in March and was 2 weeks shy of 16 years old. We will definitely miss her on Christmas morning watching her tear open gifts. I hope all my GA friends create some wonderful Christmas memories this year! 😊

Oh this was so much fun. It is just so wonderful. Oh I could spend hours in there and would get myself in trouble with everything I would want. It really is so beautiful and magical. I just can't say enough about it all. Those Gingerbread houses are just too cute and amazing. You all are just so talented. Can't wait to see Aaron start putting up Christmas lights, which is a huge task and seeing you start christmas decorating. I just love watching your videos first thing in the morning before I do anything else. Just yesterday I was rewatching the Christmas tour of the house of the people you bought your house from while I was decorating my own house. Seeing all of the themed trees at your parents Garden Center reminds me so much of that one, even the ceramic tree with the lights that you said 3 years ago was making a comeback (you were right!). We have a local family owned garden/tree/landscape centre. They do a similar Christmas set up, but nothings compares to your families garden centre.

This is making me so excited to pull all of the Christmas decorations out the day after Thanksgiving! Since we are pretty minimalist, instead of black Friday shopping we have a nice breakfast and clean the house and make it beautiful for Christmas. ☺

I had a shop and I know the work involved in transforming a shop into Christmas. We actually started in late September and our open house was the first week of November. Your parents garden center is beautiful. I appreciate all the work involved putting it all together. Loved the caladiums for Christmas. Such a nice change. ❤
