Vert Nice! I think the more we grow the more we tend To Simplicity. Completly agréé about the « edited photo that don’t look edited » 👌
I so enjoyed this!!! It’s exactly what I was looking for and more as I’m trying to find my own editing style. This helps so much!
Very good ! What IS the version of TAP ? (6 version)
Wow this is absolutely gorgeous Zach!!!! 🫶🏼🎉🎉🎉
The way you photograph has elevated to the point that your post-processing compliments it. Lovely combination.
Ah thank you so much, Joseph! :)
@@TheZachMendez Goodlight presets, we are waiting for a review of them 🙌
Thank you for this video! Definitely learned a few tricks :)
Ahh, this is gorgeous! I really like the fact that you have explained your intention and why you are doing things the way you are doing them. Keep the great work! 👍🙂
Ah thank you for watching, Toni! :)
Thank you for sharing and advise.❤
Enjoyed this very much, Zach. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for watching, Irene! :)
Hi! I noticed that you were using the Kodak pack in your earlier TAP video and that you've now switched to using the Fuji pack exclusively. I'm considering purchasing one of them, and am curious why you made that switch, what thoughts you have about each, and whether you would recommend one over the other? Thanks so much!
This was great! I’ve had TAP for a while now and was struggling to edit with it but this helped so much!
I'm so glad it was helpful - thank you for watching! :)
I never thought I'd see the day your stance on grain changes haha I think for me I love it in my photos because a part of me is always chasing the film look in all my edits but its true, you have to know when to use it and when to not. If its for a client, no grain but if its my own personal project, oh baby we're putting in grain like I put garlic in my cooking haha
Haha!! Neither did I!! I am loving this new no-grain me though! Thanks for watching! :)
Hi, just found your channel and I gotta say it's pretty dope. Would you mind sharing the two presets in the video for those who already have the TAP profiles and/or are planning to get them? I really enjoyed the touch you added and I'd also like to try it. 🙏🏻 Thanks in advance!
Can you do more of these editing videos with even more lighting situations!
How much adjustment are you doing to hSL? We only were able to see hues (: and do you mess with color calibration at all? Thanks mate
Nice video Zach. I use RNI profiles quite often. Your photos looked very nice and soft with the profiles. Do these profiles make your photos softer or was it only due to the soft lighting of that day?
I went through a similar process like you not using grain anymore. Plus I often like completely disabling Lightroom sharpening which looks so much softer and better. The sharpness with RF class is more than enough anyways.
Lots of great thoughts here! Thanks for watching! :)
When using TAP with my r6, the skin tones are always such a struggle! I’m going to try lowering the “amount” slider on the profile and see if that helps! Great tip!
Yes, I struggle with skin, too! Decreasing the amount helps a lot. Thanks for watching!
Would you share which archetype pack ?!
The Green Pro pack (Fujifilm)
The Yellow Pro pack (Kodak).
Hi Zach, looks fantastic - I'm about to to purchase one the profiles - have you had much experience with the Kodak pack? Is there a particular reason you went with the Fuji pack instead?
I'm currently a user of Imagen AI - I imagine with profiles it might be a bit tricky making a profile for them but perhaps not impossible...
Keep up the good work, I'm trying to shift my portfolio into a more high end look direction too!
Hi there! I have all the packs. I feel that the Kodak ones are a bit more difficult when it comes to skin tone, but honestly they are pretty similar. I just had more luck with the Fuji. I have a friend who swears by the Kodak and her work is incredible. I was able to test Imagen recently and can confirm it works with profiles, which is awesome! Hope this helps
Awesome video and great information. This might be the solution I'm looking for. Have you by chance tested with Fuji files? I'm a Fuji shooter and want clean files while still leveraging the ease of use of Lightroom. Humble Thanks!
Yes - these work on pretty much everything, at least in my experience. Thanks for watching!
Would you mind sharing your HSL values since you didn’t reveal the 3 panels in your video. Thank you so much. Wonderful toning!
Basically I just corrected for skin tones - sometimes the profiles can make skin too green, etc. Thanks for watching!
Have you tried TAP grain? the TFG, they're so so gorgeous once applied.
I would love to try it! I don't really add grain anymore, so probably not for me, but I'm very curious about it.
Zach you be still a pup! you have years ahead to bring out your editing. there is nothing finite about editing. you may reach back to your first tries at editing but using a newer technique.
Who r u? Let’s see ur work
do you shoot in kelvin or AWB?
Kelvin until I'm in mixed lighting scenarios (reception, etc) then AWB white priority. I'm always shooting raw and tweaking in post though.
