- Today we are talking about editing! Specifically, editing with DVLOP's new "Day to Day" preset by Kristen Marie Parker. This preset feels like film, but still keeps the image true to life.

Love your photos! I see that the Day by Day preset has some film grain applied in lightroom. Do you keep that film grain, in addition to the grain that you get from the TAP Photoshop action? I'm considering getting those and currently use presets that also already have grain. Thank you!
So cool to see the editing process and to see how your style has changed!
Always changing haha thank you 💜
Nice video! Interesting to see you are using grain again (I remember from your last editing video how you moved away from using it 😋). Do you ever use dodge and burn in your editing? Or things like linear or radial gradient filters?
Haha I know! I'm constantly in this battle with myself about grain haha.... I don't use dodge/burn. I do sometimes use radial/gradient filters, but very rarely
So great. ❤🔥But I have to admit that I like Archetype and Goodlight more. Hopefully we'll see your presets too!
It's a big goal of mine to eventually release some presets, but they need to be worth it. Thanks for watching!
That color shift in the lady of red seemed pretty unpredictable. This preset seems to change the red color hue drastically. Could result in problems when there are reds present, as with the flowers on the suits. Also, the pink dress of one lady in one of the last photos turned out rather red… questionable, although I like the look of the preset overall.
Yeah it's definitely a bit too much for me, but I really love the look/feel of the preset overall. Thanks for watching!
how do you set up the automated grain function so that it auto goes into photoshop and then comes back out into the same folder - a video on how that is set up would be highly appreciated
Yes, definitely one for another video! It's actually pretty easy, and if you purchase the TAP grain they give you some videos that walk you through it.
interesting clean and minimalistic. haha
Thank you!
Camera & lens information would have been great to see, since different files edit very differently.
All of these were shot with the R5. Most with the RF 50 1.2
You can see the lens information in the upper right corner (whenever no sliders are clicked).
