    Um, perhaps we are talking about different things, but you can get financial aid for grad school. It is student loans, so perhaps that is what you are referring to? I just graduated in May and all of my school, plus a stipend to live on was through financial aid. I am currently working on a grad certificate and somehow ended up having to take a very fast paced computer coding class. I totally feel S's pain.
    How well do you do after ER visits with your reactions to cleaners? I just had to go on Wednesday and the cleaners and disinfectants really got me. I have MCS, and probably some mast cell issue as well.

      Yes, loans were the only financial aid available (which is basically like having nothing because I am not going the loan route). Unfortunately, they don't offer the grants and such that I don't have to pay back like for undergrad. :(
      The cleaners can be tough, especially in the ER. Before taking me back to a room, they allow it to air out for a bit if they just cleaned. I wear a mask at all times. I also ensure the door to my room remains shut. Many nurses prefer to leave the doors open, but I do not let them. For me, the biggest trigger are the hospital staff's perfumes, lotions, and laundry detergent/fabric softeners. I am sorry you had a poor experience with reacting at the ER! I hope all is well now.

    Suggestion, meet a nutrition expert and ask for a second opinion, or other options like Chinese tradition medicine service, my late old age cousins had a digestive problem, she took some kind of pellets Chinese medicine, somehow it worked.

    I had a midgut volvulus and lost most of my small intestine. I’ll be praying that your bowel unrotates (is that even a word?) and you don’t need another surgery. My volvulus caused horrific pain. I waited too long before going to the ER. Thought I had food poisoning. Tell Silvino hello from Nancy at the golf course!

    • @HospitalPrincess
      @HospitalPrincess  Před 3 lety

      That was exactly how I lost my colon. I had a volvulus in my transverse colon. I waited too long to go to the hospital. Ended up losing the bowel. Had I went to the ER sooner, they could have just untwisted that one portion. Silvino says hello! We both hope you are well.
