    As a women who can't put a single thing together since being divorced I felt helpless but your videos have taught me so much I've replaced air filters in engine in car and now fixed brake light switch when I bought the air filters and switch figured since it all looked fairly easy to do I wouldn't be charged all that much to have it done for me ... Boy oh boy was I wrong they seen a women and it was an automatic $300 quote I was like it takes 2 mins to put filters in guy was like well if that's the case you put them in I was like ok logged in online and STILL IN REPAIR SHOP PARKING LOT I opened hood slide black box dropped in air filter walked around to passenger side took hook of glovebox it dropped down took front plate off dropped in filter went and looked at brake light switch spot and said hmm this one's a little tricky since I'm not as young as I once was but put car mat on ground twisted my happy ass under dash and then realized I didn't have right tool but I wasn't gonna let them know it so I popped out fuse because brake lights were stuck on cleaned up boxes walk back to there trash can and said to guy There all done 2 auto mechanics started to laugh and one gave me applause so I did my little curtsey and drove away WHAT A FEELING LOL thank you for showing us in simple ways now I feel more confident I had my neighbor show me how to change my tire too he said oh I'll do it for you and I was like no just please walk me threw it cause might not be there in future WOMEN don't be afraid to atleast try I was surprised at what I was capable of I do miss my husband sometimes but today wasn't one of them.... Hehe THANK U

    Sweet very concise and to the point. This is my problem as of tonight so I have one thing to check ( the fuse) and a potential alternative thing for the repair. Thanks a bunch.

    THANK YOU! You just saved me a big ole hassle! My 07 Elantra not only had 2 brake lights out (replaced the bulbs), but my shifter was locked. Changing the fuse got my brake lights on again, and I can also shift w/o the override! Seriously dude, thank you SO much!

    Thank you, for your great video! The issue with my daughters car didn't turn out to be the fuse or the switch, it was the rubber stopper.

      Hey, can you elaborate?

    • @marissarosaful
      @marissarosaful Před 2 lety +2

      @@orelfichman779there is a rubber stopper that the brake light switch presses up against, it had become brittle, cracked and fallen away. I think it ended up costing about $10 Aud.

    my us version 07 accent they put it on the other side tucked up behind the break lever barely able to get to it and the plug is
    facing up into dash not pointing down like yours and there's an unused bracket that look's like it could have been installed on that hole there. i suspect someone from fed dot .

    What does it mean when one filament illuminates on one side but not both? I replaced the bulb with a new one and same problem. Other side lights up bright.
